Netchex is great if you want to log in to one place to take care of all things employee-related. It is especially helpful if you have multiple locations or divisions as you can easily set these up and manage them as needed. The more employees you have, the more you will benefit from a program like Netchex that provides so much support for your business. Our company has multiple locations of stores and many employee position levels and Netchex has been great at keeping all of this simple when a lessor product could make it much more complicated. Netchex would not be as appropriate if you have a very small business or a simple payroll structure. It would definitely still work well for you, it would just be more sophisticated than you would require.

You can run as many payrolls as you want at no extra charge. This is great for companies with lots of moving parts and hourly employees. Account manager is best to communicate to over email, but can call in and won’t get siloed to one area or be on the phone forever. As far as Yearend- so far, no problem with the implementation. Paperless onboarding is a lot more seamless than other systems. Admins don't need to add too much info to get the employees started on new hire paperwork. Adding pay types to timecards can track no call, no shows, or call offs. Using the Cost centers are great. Standard reporting isn’t as great, but I've created a lot of great reports from scratch! Lots of ability to create processes with the system through tasks and workflows. Very systematic. I love the ATS with Paylocity and get a lot of candidates through Jobtarget.
Read full review Pros My Netchex Service Team is very responsive and friendly. They are willing and able to spend the amount of time needed on one call to troubleshoot most problems or answer questions. Their recent updates to the employee dashboard have been well-received by our seasonal team. Employees are able to quickly find what they are looking for which has minimized the amount of requests that my team receives regarding questions on pay or updating personal information. Online W-2 forms have been a game-changer for us since moving to Netchex. Our staff tend to move around a lot and most do not get the mailed copy of their W-2. The electronic consent has saved me hours and hours of time. Read full review Customer Support. While I have not and typically don’t speak with our actual account exec. Going through the support line is easy and I’m usually connected very quickly. User experience is simple and easy. Employees are able to navigate through the site with little guidance and it’s very intuitive Onboarding is easy to navigate and easily automated. Read full review Cons Support needs to be available more times than just normal business hours. Tax support is basically non-existent. This seems that it should be TOP NOTCH. Some of the functionality of the Netchex program could be tweaked. It is not a keyboard friendly program at all. Must mouse your way through. When the program times out, it takes 2 to 3 screens before it really logs you out. When submitting from Netchex to Dealertrack, it would be nice to show the payroll # or payroll date that has been submitted. Currently once you hit submit, the screen reverts back to the last successful payroll submit. This process is just a bit confusing, especially for new users. Read full review It is very hard to run reports. THe reporting section is not clear and not user friendly. Paylocity COBRA is a feature that is extremely hard to use and poor customer service. Functionality can be different depending on what page you are on in Paylocity. It should all be consistent and uniform. Read full review Likelihood to Renew
Easy to work with.

The transition from my old provider to Paylocity was virtually painless. I always felt well supported by my account rep. I would use Paylocity again, but I'm not in a position to change providers at my current company right now.

Very user friendly and great interface.

Although it is fairly easy to use, there are some processes that just don't make munch sense. For example, if an employee has 2 bank accounts and the funds are returned from one account the process to reissue is TEDIOUS and confusing. Unless you want to PAY for Paylocity to do it for you. I think the manual process should be as easy for us.

Solid network - down for upgrades at late hours during the weekend when I am definitely not in the system to use it. Even if I was, they provide excellent advance notice.

It's so manual, not automated or intuitive.

The first line CE team is phenomenal. They are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We have had less luck with the responsiveness of the tax department. However, their response time has improved drastically over the past year.

The frustrations I have with Paylocity customer support are what drove me to leave a review in the first place so I can warn anyone considering purchasing this product. I really like the software and it has a lot of great features, but my complete distrust of their customer service has led me to rue the day I chose Paylocity to be our payroll vendor. For one thing, they are often slow to respond. That alone might be manageable, except even when I do get a response, half the time the answers are incomplete/not helpful, if not completely incorrect! Imagine waiting 90 days and paying thousands of dollars for a corrected W2 only for it to come back more incorrect than it was when you started, and not only that but they also made me question my sanity trying to convince me that they were correct when it was BLATANTLY wrong - and that's just one example! Sometimes you might be lucky to get a decent customer service rep using the chat help feature, but most of the time whoever you talk to does not seem to have any more knowledge of the system than you do. I am a patient person and I have a lot of grace for administrative errors (we're all human) but Paylocity customer service is consistently unreliable and sometimes unprofessional to boot. To their credit, the sales and implementation teams do seem really good. It seems like maybe they just can't retain good customer service reps. We've been through several account managers without ever having a good experience.

Implementation took some time but was pretty much error free.

I would make sure you have a dedicated team at Paylocity to complete the implementation. We had staff from Paylocity quit and things were not completed properly. They dropped the ball so to speak on that portion of it. we have encountered multiple issues since then and are still not using the Time off tracking to its full capabilities.

I like that they are not so big that they ignore the small customers. They are also reasonably priced. Their support is excellent, I had worked with ADP in a prior position, and we did not have the same kind of support

We used to do Payroll on physical timesheets, so obviously Paylocity has saved us a lot of time, both when recording the number of hours, but also in fixing errors and making sure that there are no mistakes. Now, I can keep track of student pay much easier and with much less error-checking than previously!
