Paylocity is great for us
Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity to process Payroll, manage our Time & Labor, Human Resources, Employee Benefits, Recruiting, and Onboarding functions. We will soon use it for Performance Management also.
Pros

Cons
- Our implementation project manager weasd amazing but he rolled off before the feed to General Ledger and Benefits were complete. I would have referred to keep that in place until those we re done.
- More Flexibility in development of one data fed in particular would have been helpful.
- Reduced errors with accurate Payroll to GL data feed
- Improved employee satisfaction accessing their pay info and direct deposits faster.
- Reduced errors on payroll processing.
- CLeaner and faster onboarding and recruiting processes, much better for our managers. It was pretty manual before.
The workflow with notifications of each module/function frees up our HR saff significantly. The automated nature and flow of recruiting and onboarding prevent many things from slipping through the cracks. Payroll, which is accurate consistently, is seen as automatic and very reliable. Time tracking is mor eavsailable than what we had before, so less time spent making corrections.
We have not delved into these very much, but the birthday and hire anniversary reminders have been very helpful.
Superior in every way except Performance to UKG, including customer support. Ease of use and perceived accuracy was a Paylocity win over all of the providers. It's a great balance of being robust but not overwhelming.

Yes - UKG Pro. Accuracy, customer support, ability to configure to what we need.
- Ease of Use
Mobile app is very easy and full of functionality. Desktop app is great.
Our process was very thorough. I would have avoided the smaller providers. Paylocity is established and well-known.

Yes - Payroll and HR was the fist, Benefits next, then Performance, and data feeds to GL and benefits providers as those were underway.
Change management was a big part of the implementation and was well-handled - Involve end users at employee and supervisor levels early and often in training educations, videos of the new products.

Configuring Paylocity
Thoroughly map out all of the job codes, GL codes, ervey variable in payroll, HR, and especially Benefits before starting. Know what you need to swee reported and verify that the reports exists in their large library or that is can be custom built. It's best to make sure that your existing data is clean and accurate before migrating.
