NetSuite is a suite of ERP and accounting modules which is sold in various editions aimed at different size customers. The multi-country, multi-currency version is an additional module called OneWorld. Netsuite is a SaaS system and is not offered in an on-premise edition.

Paycor's pricing for small, mid, and enterprise companies varies based on product bundle and company size. Because Paycor HR software is built to help businesses scale and grow, plans are based on the mix of HR products needed, and company size. Payroll is at the core of Paycor's offering, and their products are sold as a part of their payroll and HR platform.
NetSuite was the obvious choice in our case because of the enterprise backing of Oracle and the support available for the platform from both the Oracle side as well as on the open market through Consultants and Partner firms. While it's price point is vastly different, …
NetSuite is almost as flexible as Odoo, but with a lot more out-of-the-box functionality. The strong base of out-of-the-box functionality tops dynamics but is a bit less then Infor. Infor is not flexible at all though, so NetSuite is the best choice of the four by far.
We thought that the NetSuite bundle was a totally integrated and seamless package, both from an IT perspective and from a contractual perspective...we found that the payroll module utilizes the Ceridian Payroll engine, and there are extra steps to "synchronize" the Ceridian …

We decided to go with Odoo over Netsuite due to a few factors. Price was a big reason why, Netsuite is the most expensive ERP we vetted. I also did not have a great experience with Netsuite at my last job. I was on the roll out team and it did not work as promised for POS, …
we CAME from NetSuite (and should have stayed there!!) - but we thought Odoo would be better. Brightpearl was too expensive and too slow to implement - and we needed a system that could do the Spanish Legally mandatory Accounting reports...... and even here Odoo fails as no …
Odoo offers great ease of use and time to market. You can build on modules and integration, not an issue since the system will say "before" setup what modules relate to what you want. And in some instances will even install needed modules without your having to guess.
We have used Paychex for our Payroll processing in the past. Both services have been fine. Paycor was able to give a more well rounded total HR Platform. Has been a pretty nice thing for us as a company and our HR Staff.
We processed payroll in house for 50 years prior to switching to paycor. We used DacEasy by Sage. While this program had its limitations it was better than Paycor as far as reporting and ease of use.
It is suited well for its scalability and offerings of options as you need them. Auditing Where lesser ERPs require multiple 3rd party connections to get certain functionality, NetSuite ERP offers it as part of the core already or as an advanced feature you can opt into. It is still a part of the NetSuite environment and managed by NetSuite.
It is well suited for inventory tracking, shipping and sales work flows. While some customization is needed to make it functional, if done correctly Odoo can serves as a powerful one stop shop for all of a businesses needs. The ease of customization for email templates, both for sales communications and marketing outreach leaves something to be desired. Perhaps our team hasn't explored this fully enough. I have personally found it intimidating in trying to construct a news letter using the email marketing module
Paycor is well suited for an organization with a strong implementation team or who has the budget to hire a consultant to implement Paycor. Once the system is implemented, Paycor is great. If you are a smaller organization, we suggest starting with just 1-2 modules and working your way up from there as setting up everything takes time and resources
The creation of products is extremely simple, I like that it does not complicate you to put a lot of detail, of course if you want to put more detailed information later it allows you to do it without problems
The fact that I can manage my inventory of my warehouse is very convenient, I only generate my stock report of the products we have in stock and taking inventory is easier
The management of opportunities in the CRM is also great, because the guys from the sales department generate their opportunity, place what their client is requiring and we, the logisticians, can automatically generate the quote for what they are requesting, and from there they can only download their quote and send it to their clients.
Customer service is nonexistent. You will need a 3rd party to assist you.
The system has an open app for integrating with other programs. These are developed by third parties and can be hit or miss in functionality.
The system offers great flexibility; however, it is too much and requires coding. For example, changing a Sales order PDF requires coding to modify the document.
Initial implementation is clunky and seems to require a 3rd party just for setup.
The reporting capabilities of Paycor Recruiting are lacking. While there are some great features I would like to see more options for customization. The options to build my own report from SCRATCH with whatever fields I want/need would be a huge improvement. At this time, I have to finagle the reports to try and get what I need and often times I have to pull multiple reports and then do extra work outside of the system to end up with metrics close to what I’m looking for in the data.
The candidates search feature could use some improvement. In theory, the tagging system is a great idea but it leaves room for inconsistency and trying to search for a previous candidate who interviewed well isn’t always easy. This makes it harder to re-engage with people who could be a strong match for a new job opening.
Although the platform is very user friendly as far as ease of use and intuitiveness it can be VERY slow at times. There are days where the system moves at a snails pace and when there are multiple clicks to have to get to a specific spot in the system this can be very frustrating. This is especially try for navigating through job postings and candidate details.
NetSuite is able to cover all of our needs, spanning multiple departments and managerial levels. We use it daily for a multitude of functions, including creating promotions, estimating inventory, pulling historical reports, forecasting sales, and more. Overall, we're very satisfied with NetSuite as an ERP solution and recommend it to medium to large businesses.
Price point is the biggest driving factor. Paycor has made some strides in the customer service area and we've seen enough improvements that renewing our contract has become more a reality than a pipe dream. The system functions well and our employees are familiar with how it works, so to make a change would be a huge lift for our team
NetSuite is a cloud tool, and is easy to implement for mid-sized organizations. It comes with standard forms/ printing layouts, and financial reporting (both summary and detailed), which are very handy for business users. In addition to these, with 99.99% service availability, NetSuite makes it one of the most reliable ERP tools available on the market.
Once you complete the training with Odoo, you have a great grasp of how the system works, and most every feature is intuitive- There is rarely a task within Odoo that I get frustrated trying to figure out- I can typically look through the system and find what I need to do, and if I ever do need support, the Odoo Support team is excellent
Glitches. So many glitches. The customer service number provides basic troubleshooting, which doesn’t help; some issues take weeks to resolve, with no apparent reason why they occur. The system does not work on Safari. We have dealt with Payroll not working, which has caused a manual payroll to be run. Paycor representatives do not provide any assistance.
It has been very reliable. I can only think of 1-2 times in 4.5 years that we have had issues getting in, and in each case were able to get back in within 1 hour. There has not been a major downtime
I feel like Paycor is always up and running! If they are planning downtime, they communicate it clearly. Every once in a while, I get something that says the system isn't working but it is usually back up within the hour. I typically find by the time that the employees complain about it, that it is resolved within the system.
Most of the time the performance is very good. Pages load in a few seconds; financial reports take less than 5 seconds; basic searches take a few seconds. But performance can be sporadic throughout the day and cause the run time to triple.
For the most part, everything moves super fast. There are a few sections (Expense Management) that sometimes take a bit to load correctly. Or if they are interesting, it takes a minute to talk to each other! But reports are quickly downloaded and available! Even data heavy reports run fairly fast!
I would like to give 8 rating for NetSuite support and reason for that is below: Whenever we faced any technical or functional issues we tried to reach out to NEtSuite support but response was not immediate. We told them about the urgency of the issue but still we were not getting response on time. Then, we have to reach out to AE to get things resolved.
Easy - there is NO SUPPORT (like in ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!!). Even for legally mandatory requirements where the system MUST work, they will gladly take a month to get back to you with a NON-answer. We couldn't even get our bank statements correctly into Odoo for 2 months - leading to no reconciliation and the company accounts were a mess (still are!!) as a result - Completely irresponsible. Have not EVEN had an apology from Odoo - they couldn't care less !!
I feel like support will transfer you back and forth between departments and put you on hold forever. I believe it is very difficult to see the status of an open ticket. During my experience, it feels like the client has to push all communication and request updates from support regularly.
I had in person training for a day when first got the software. The training was good. The challenge was that there was a large gap between training and when we went live so we forgot quite a lot
The online trainings are super helpful. They have user guides that you can read through, interactive training that will walk you through it as well as plain web based ones. I've actually never had an in-person training but all of the information you need can be found online. They also will do individual support training if you are struggling with a certain area.
I felt NetSuite Professional Services did an excellent job of guiding us in the implementation. I also felt our internal teams were a little resistant to the change and engagement of new software. Had we performed better engaging and buying into the new software, I would be able to rate the implementation better. Therefore, the lower number should not be viewed as a deficiency with the software or the professional services teams, but as an reminder of how important complete buy-in from the local users is.
Implementation of any new software is going to be challenging, especially if you are maintaining an existing program concurrently. When it is time for dual-processing (both old and new software) prior to going live, be prepared to be stressed. But trust the process and it will be over soon.
Advanced features that Netsuite had. Easy integration with other financial and CRM systems. Implementation and governance can be easy handled. Easy to maintain and support. Handles very high volume of data. More new features are in pipeline. As it is used across many company and around the globe, it has good community, so no resource constraint.
We decided to go with Odoo over Netsuite due to a few factors. Price was a big reason why, Netsuite is the most expensive ERP we vetted. I also did not have a great experience with Netsuite at my last job. I was on the roll out team and it did not work as promised for POS, inventory managing or reporting, it crashed constantly in the middle of using it. Just over all very poor. Considering it is owned by Oracle and the most expensive, you would think it would be able to function on some sort of base level. That company ended up terminating their contract with Netsuite early and going with a different company.
We don't have crashing or error issues. I can complete receives, cycle counts etc and all of my information saves. Visually, Odoo is more satisfying also.
They seemed similar but Paycor was cheaper at the time. However, Paycor has so many fees they tack onto every invoice that may not be the case anymore. The support services supposedly were better at ADP but that was an unknown
We have been able to scale our business 25X without any major overhaul with Netsuite. Its dashboard setup makes onboarding new employees very easy and allows data to be shared across multiple offices. Its cloud setup does not put any pressure on IT to scale servers or other infrastructure. We have been able to become much more efficient in all aspects of the business.
I gave it a 10 because we only use it across one organization. However, it has allowed us to break it into multiple departments and layers of management. It is also easy for us to utilize across different locations but still under one master company. They have always provided us support when we decide to change something on an organizational level
NetSuite software has improved our process controls and enhanced cash management, especially in huge projects.
The software has helped us with budgeting, forecasting, and real-time financial reporting.
Introduction of NetSuite ERP into our organisation has completely changed the way we do things by enhancing compliance, ensuring real-time project milestone tracking, and enabling portfolio management.
We can process Payroll in a 25% of the time that we previously could.
Scheduling takes 2 or 3 times as much effort as it did before.
Onboarding allows employees to do self-service but comes with a lot of questions from team members so it is net the same amount of time at the end of the day.
