Likelihood to Recommend New - relic is well suited if you want to analyse the performance of your services and you want to improve it. Integration with multiple services with same account gives a clear picture of flow of your APIs if you have micro-service architecture. New-relic is less appropriate when you want to do logging of your system. As it does not emits every single calls
Read full review I believe Sisense is perfectly suited for any organization of any size that have access to the proper resources, as the tool is very expensive. The data connectors come in all shapes and sizes out of the box, which allows a great deal of data control within the ElastiCubes. Additionally, while the platform only runs on Windows platforms, the web application can be accessed on any client: mobile, Apple, Windows, etc. This allows a much more flexible user experience, resulting in data and dashboards reaching further than any other tool.
Read full review Pros gives us an monitoring of all our underlying servers and also we can configure some alerts upon them like CPU and memory alerts. Kubernetes cluster monitoring with new relic for EKS gives us and minute details of our cluster utilisation like node usage, pods memory request and limits Network traceability for each and every request with response time analysis is great we can trace which component is responsible for generating response delay log managements of the logs the infrastructure is generating we can view logs through there only Read full review Customization - lots of supported and community plugins available. Users can also adjust the look and feel through JavaScript. Innovation - Sisense is continuing to push the envelope by developing new features through Sisense Labs. Customer support - the commitment to excellent customer service and ensuring organizations get the most out of their investment. Read full review Cons I would like to see sort of simulator inside the user interface, that way we can send requests directly from it to test some configuration instead of setting up a test environment in our end. It would be nice if the data ingestion can be filtered by APM's. That way we can know which application is ingested most data. It would be nice if we could ingest logs (apache, system logs, and other logs) and correlate them with the APM. Read full review The usability of the application on mobile devices needs some improvement, especially navigation and filtering. Dashboards that are created by multiple users can be a bit of a hassle to share by Admins. If you need to embed dashboards into your website, you are require to buy a license separate from the user and platform license. This is a norm on most BI visualization tools, but Sisense can seem a bit on the high side, cost-wide. Read full review Likelihood to Renew The only issue that we have had with New Relic is that the price might be a little expensive for smaller companies. The amount of data you store in New Relic impacts the cost, and can get away from you if you don't work closely with the vendor. Overall though the application is top notch.
Read full review I think the business and myself as a user has come to rely on SiSense as a dashboarding and quick ad-hoc reporting tool. I am hoping to integrate SiSense dashboards into more parts of the business in the future. We have reduced our report turn-around time for the most part from hours/days to minutes and in some cases almost the speed of thought. Reports are also easier on the eye and more easily distributed. I would also like to say that the support and professionalism from the SiSense team has been excellent.
Read full review Usability As an engineer, New Relic has been very quick and easy for me to pick up/install/use. It has been less easy for some of the less technical-minded folks in our organization and their UI still is inconsistent multiple years after refactoring their platform to be New Relic One.
Read full review New V5 is ground floor of an exciting collection of possibilities. Weekly Sisense developers come up with new functionality that they share with us in their forums. The move to HTML5 has been pleasing in that widgets auto size themselves into appropriate forms in the board but everyone of them can be popped out to full page size to be looked at in more detail

Read full review There are very few situations when there is unexpected downtime. Mostly during development, new dashboard implementation and during upgrades. other then that there were very few crashes.

Read full review SiSense is usually performing better then other solutions even if going for complex reports/dashboards(of course within reasonable frames). I haven't noticed any bad influence on other systems, usually if something happens it stays within SiSense.
Read full review Support Rating The support team has been really helpful and resolved most of the issues on time. However, for a couple of issues, several follow-ups were needed to elicit a reasonable response. The issue was deeply technical and could have been investigated only by their Architects, and bringing them into the ticket took longer than needed
Read full review SiSense's support ninjas are very knowledgeable and are exceptionally responsive. So far, all of the issues we ran into were resolved within minimum time. My sense of dealing with the support staff at SiSense is that they are very focused on not just answering your immediate question, but also to delve into the cause of the matter.
Read full review In-Person Training Easy and free training that allowed us quickly understand basics in SiSense and start using them. More advanced features requires some browsing through SiSense forums, but there is always support to help, and SiSense support is one of the best whith which I worked so far.
Read full review Online Training Many examples, videos and scenarios which you try on your own right away. This combined with in-person training gives you enough to utilize most of SiSense's power.
Read full review Implementation Rating It's better to start by implementing New Relic in one project and test everything. Try to follow best recommended practices and read all the official documentation. Everything seems well tested. Then, start by installing agents to the rest of your projects and keep a close look to all logs and metrics New Relic gives you.

Read full review Alternatives Considered New Relic is the most full-featured offering that we've found, and is incredibly easy to start using with a PHP app. The New Relic agent is installed as a PHP extension so it is able to monitor and track the performance of any PHP app being run by the web server. Other tools required the installation and setup of a PHP dependency at the application level.
