Canva: Pretty pretty and pretty simple.
- Canva makes BIG files. It may be that I didn't understand how to do otherwise, but that nearly cost me when I was trying to rush a job to the print shop for a client (hadn't realize it wouldn't send by email until I got there and it hadn't shown up). It would be great if there were ways to compress files inside the program rather than seeking another solution. That said, I was in a hurry and should've seen that the file was pretty big.
- Overall, though, clients have been happy with what I make for them in Canva-- and it's a lot faster than building from scratch in Gimp or Adobe. I'm not a designer.
- The monthly cost is easily absorbed into our department budget, and allows us to create tons of design collateral at an accessible price point.
- Combining Canva with PaperlessPost helps us keep costs down for our monthly donor events, providing us with a sustainable model over the long run.
- Canva provides the tools for our regular staff to create professional looking graphic designs without the additional cost of hiring a graphic designer on staff, or as a pricey consultant.

Canva Gives Professional Results at a Fraction of the Cost!
- I'm always complimented on how professional my work looks!
- The bands I design for love that their gig posters don't look like they were created in Word or Publisher. They feel Canva makes them look like they're serious about their business. Bar owners have also commented on how nice the posters look.
- I'd have to say the only negative is the recurring monthly cost. It may not seem like a lot, but in the scheme of my budget, it has an impact.

Canva for Marketing
- A large amount of time saved
- Canva has allowed us to increase our productivity by 30%, we are now able to turn around designs and marketing campaigns in a shorter time as we can quickly access designs and ideas across the team in Canva.
- Customers love the design language approach we have taken and we are in the process of adding more users to our Canva accounts. We have been able to find a uniform design language that everyone agrees with and is used for all our marketing and communication. This in itself has helped us position our brand better in the marketplace.
- Our initial goal with Canva was to have an alternative tool to Adobe's suite and Canva has been that for us, albeit with some adjustments. We have been able to save a significant amount of money on the monthly costs, $13 a month per user vs almost $55 a month for other tools

Great for quick and dirty projects
- We are now able to create designs very quickly. Some of our projects come up 'last minute' and this has been very helpful for those cases.

- Canva can be used on the cheap, with many options available at little to no cost. To get the most out of Canva you must be willing to spend $1 or so on individual elements that make your designs less generic.
