Overall Satisfaction with Canva
Canva is an easy and quick way to create graphics for most social media platforms. At my organization, we constantly had journalists asking graphic designers for small images to go along with posts on social media. Canva allows them to make such images themselves. In my other role as a lecturer at a local university, I teach young musicians the first steps on building an online presence and for them, Canva is invaluable, since it allows people without graphic design training to create compelling images. Even for professional designers using Canva for quick creations it can be easier than opening and editing an image in Photoshop.

- The templates and styles are visually pleasing
- The search function could be improved, perhaps taking inspiration from Google Image filters.
- It would be interesting to see some kind of Photoshop import/export function.
- Journalists became less dependent on graphic designers to post their stories online
- My students were able to learn how to create visually pleasing fan pages, enhancing their presence online
- Overall, my contributions to social media now tend to be more visually enhanced
- SumoPaint and Pablo
Despite its integration with Buffer, Pablo is very limited compared to Canva. I present both Pablo and Sumopaint to my students as possible options to Canva, but so far, no one has chosen them.
Sumopaint has a lot of potential, since it allows heavy editing of images, but it also is more difficult to learn and to use, so, for most daily uses, Canva is still the best choice.

- Sometimes the number of options can be overwhelming. A better search could help that
