I can't say much in terms of ROI. However, due to the nature of the application, I personally have not noticed any personal impact on the way I do things. I do not use it collaboratively nor plan on doing so unless required.

As our department has moved to using OneNote on a more consistent basis, the cost of paper supplies (paper, folders, binders etc.) has significantly decreased.

The cost of physical storage space has also decreased because there is less need to house the binders and files.

Employees have become more efficient and productive due to the ease of quickly finding the information they need to complete their tasks.

Integration with OneDrive is great.

Great to use with Outlook.

No need for several software packages or software services.

Overall, less wasted time looking in multiple locations for related information.

OneNote has made it easier for me to find and organize the multiple projects I have going at one time. I believe it makes me more efficient by being able to access and easily find everything in one spot rather than searching through old notebooks or sorting through physical or desktop files.

As this is not compulsory tool in our company, I would say the impact it has on me is the following: easy tool to organize procedures before publishing.

OneNote 2013 has significantly increased my efficiency in finding critical information that is not easy to organize.

We do not use OneNote.

Managing projects and mapping concepts for conversion to projects is a strength of OneNote for sure.

Working with others collaboratively by sharing notebooks and using OneDrive and Lync in tandem with OneNote allows for a super creative and productive combo of services that will make any team more productive, connected, and efficient.

Our sales team has become more effective and has kept great records of the meetings we attend.

The sales teams leave the meetings with better action items that help convert prospects into customers.

Better Hand-off from sales to service. Because we take more notes and have better information our service delivery has increased.
