Pros
- GoldenGate Trail reader which iss faster than Oracle CDC. It does not used logminer, hence there is no load on source Oracle database.
- Easy installation and upgrade in 5 minutes
- Support is very good. Fast and user friendly.

Pros
- It is the platform itself and provide you the kitchen for your data regardless of the what kind and format it is. There are out of the box adapters/connectors and you can also develop your own adaptor in case of integration to legacy data sources.
- Change data capture feature is seamlessly working on SQL and Oracle which covers almost 90% of our databases within the bank.
Cons
- The web interface of the platform and the realtime dashboard needs to be improved. On the other hand, there are plenty of other dashboard options, maybe you do not stick with the Striim dashboard functionality.
- The community power somehow should be cultivated. You are not able to access tech docs or code samples over the internet.
