Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce

We use BigCommerce as a total solution for our online sales company - it provides great analytics, is easy to use and even though I do not have a huge technical knowledge the online staff always assist me with any issues [thus] eliminating the huge costs of an ongoing web developer.
  • Great in assisting with problem solving and quick turnaround of escalating an issue if it has to be taken further
  • Ongoing development of themes and SEO practices
  • Handy analytics to assist in targeting advertising spend and updating products
  • I'm happy with all of the current functionality at the moment - costing is always something I see brought up in many comparative discussions though here in Austalia, especially with the USD strength against the AUD and I know many people that moved away from BigCommerc due to the new costing plans last year.
  • The addition of the abandoned cart facility last year improved our sales slightly.
  • We have just updated to a great new theme so it's still early days (1 week) but I am very confident we will see great results.
  • I do not have the need for a web developer except for upgrades so this is a huge savings for us.
I like the ease of use of BigCommerce and the expert online assistance.
[It's] easy to use without any vast knowledge and no coding knowledge is needed to maintain the back end. This saves huge ongoing costs for an agency or web developer as the BigCommerce online team is always available to assist and highly knowledgeable.

I find the support team at Big Commerce to be highly skilled and extremely helpful so this leads to less outsourcing of our needs as we are not very technical here as a small business and spend time focusing on the marketing of our product.
This is a real cost saver and one of the main reasons we love Big Commerce

Very happy at the moment with the overall benefits and ongoing developments we are receiving by remaining on Big Commerce even though we are approached all the time by local companies all the time to change, but we have no intention to switch

BigCommerce Support

I have used the online support feature MANY times and also the call in service.
I have had positive outcomes each and every time, We do not have an internet technically minded person in our small business and avoid this extra cost as I know the BC support team fills that role for us. I have had numerous issues that have been resolved very professionally and often patiently if I ask many questions, which I think I tend to do due to my marketing background vs a technical background. Thanks BC support team - I know you have my back!!

No - The support I receive is adequate and included in my plan
Yes - Not sure if it was a bug but it was an issue that caused a problem for us with extra discounts being allowed where not applicable - it has sort of been resolved after a few months with an updated feature being added to the system but this is not the best solution for our business and I have let the team know so perhaps it will be looked into a bit further.
We recently updated out website to a new theme and as our previous theme was 2 generations back and discountinued , when it came to launch time we realised all the design work was based on a theme that was no longer in our new availability list - from an online chat, it was escalated to one of the very professional call support team members (Garrett) contacting me directly by phone, who added all the necessary notes on record so that when it came to launch time we had the guarantee that whoever took our enquiry had all of the relevant info they needed to guide us though the transition without any issue and more importantly ZERO DOWNTIME for our website with the promise that our very old website had a back up plan if anything went wrong . Excellent service and a solution to what could of been a very stressful time for us.
