ClickUp is the #1 platform for all-in-one project + product management for teams and industries of all types
Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
We moved all of our project management, product management and resource management into ClickUp over the past few years. This switch to using ClickUp for all teams has provided a centralized hub for all of our teams + users to exist and be able to organize their own work while also keeping track of other team's projects. The set of features and tools provided by ClickUp are great for CS, Sales and our Development team to efficiently and effectively manage our projects company-wide!
Pros
- Product Management using Lists, Boards, Custom Fields and the Whiteboard Feature.
- Project Management with various views, custom fields, reporting dashboards.
- Best in class UI/UX when it comes to project management software that is both powerful and flexible.
Cons
- Minor bugs at times (but who doesn't have those) and I feel that ClickUp 3.0 will greatly improve speed, bugs and reliability!
- Saved us money by allowing us to consolidate multiple platforms into a single application (~$1,000+/mo).
- Saved us time by allowing all teams to be connected on a centralized hub to avoid platform and context switching (~at least 1 day per month).
- ROI has been fantastic considering we're saving both time and money.
As mentioned in some of my other answers, ClickUp has saved us a ton of time and money by allowing us to consolidate some of our other niche applications into a single multi-use platform (without losing functionality). Beforehand, we were using different project management software for the various teams since some are more suited for sales, CS or development. We also needed to have other secondary applications that start to build up costs for things like whiteboarding, product management, time tracking, bug tracking, etc. By using ClickUp, we are now able to have that all-in-one platform that everyone uses which cuts down on costs as well as having to switch and learn a bunch of different platforms.
The built-in automations are absolutely fantastic. In the past, we've had to use 3rd party tools like Zapier to connect apps and automate work which adds an additional app and layer of complexity. With built-in automations, we can manage all of these things directly in ClickUp which saves a lot of time and frustration. It especially cuts down on manual tasks for things like auto-assigning and reporting.
ClickUp is by far the most powerful + flexible of all these tools. We used to have to use Jira/Asana for development and Trello/Basecamp for other teams since each was better suited for one team or the other. Now, we have a tool that is great for all teams and provides project management and product management along with a suite of other great features/tools that make them best in class.
