Overall Satisfaction with Intuit Mailchimp

Our organization uses Mailchimp to send email blasts to subscribed customers, informing them of upcoming sales, current sales, and back-in-stock products. We also utilize the SMS feature, sending text messages to subscribed customers, informing them of the same information as above. We believe this is an effective way to capture the customer's attention and inform them of our activities, particularly for customers who are not active on social media.

Pros

  • Allows easy creation of email blasts.
  • Allows easy creation of SMS blasts.
  • Provides analytics.

Cons

  • Increasing the amount of characters allowed in SMS.
  • Not counting a hype as characters in SMS.
  • More analytic options.
  • Time saving.
  • Higher open rate.
  • Bringing customers to our website.
  • Revenue increase.
To my knowledge, we have not utilized Mailchimp's audience management features.
  • Email marketing
  • Reporting
We have not used Mailchimp's AI tools, and I don't think we would, as we like to manually create all our graphics, emails, messaging, and wording in the emails. We use Grammarly to ensure there are no spelling errors.
I have not looked into that, but I do plan on it. I think Mailchimp has helped increase customers being aware we give coupon codes when subscribed and allowing them first access on everything we do. Which could let them get first dibs on released products, use codes, sign up for something, and view recent videos.
I think Mailchimp enables companies to cater to their customers without requiring direct interaction with them. A simple email can convey a great deal of information. The SMS feature can give a brief link with a sentence to show promotional offers. I think that best fits with the upcoming generation; I don't always want to read a long email with lots of pictures. I think Mailchimp is easy to navigate and has many valuable features.
I don't think they are comparable; we use Google Ads to put our website at the top of the list when someone googles certain words. We use meta business to manage our social media. Google aims to gain customers, while Mailchimp is used to interact with both existing and new customers.

Do you think Intuit Mailchimp delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Intuit Mailchimp's feature set?

Yes

Did Intuit Mailchimp live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Intuit Mailchimp go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Intuit Mailchimp again?

Yes

As stated previously, I think it is a great way to interact with and inform our customers. Being able to email them with news, coupon codes, or updates on products, whether simple or complex, is very useful. I think using SMS messaging is useful for the younger generation, who are likely not to check emails as often.
