Overall Satisfaction with Webex App

We utilize Cisco's platform for calls that are scheduled by their employees. This ensures seamless communication and collaboration with Cisco's team. On the other hand, for calls scheduled within our organization, we rely on Microsoft Teams. This platform is integrated into our workflow, providing us with robust features for meetings, file sharing, and real-time collaboration. By using these two platforms, we can maintain efficient and effective communication both internally and externally.

Pros

  • Share screen is easy and fast
  • Option to Pause Screen Share
  • Stable

Cons

  • Too dark
  • Not very intuitive
  • The organization of attendees during calls is weird and the change options are limuted
  • Layout seems outdated
  • A bit complex sometimes
Unfortunately, the specific information regarding the adoption of the Webex App across the company, including the number of users, types of users, and whether it is used departmentally or company-wide, is not available at this time. If you need further details, you may want to reach out to the IT department or the team responsible for managing communication tools within the organization.
One of the main organizational challenges faced while planning or implementing hybrid work was the integration of various tools and workflows. It was crucial to identify which tools could be integrated with the existing environment and decide whether to replace them or build a new environment. Another significant challenge was evolving the organizational culture and leadership to ensure connectedness among employees in a hybrid workplace.
Microsoft Teams is more intuitive, experience is lighter and friendly, more intuitive, easier to navigate and better integrated with remaining aplications that we work with. Webex takes too much time to setup the calls, sometimes it gets a bit anoying the message "setting up the chairs". Webex should just do it faster.

Do you think Webex App delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Webex App's feature set?

Yes

Did Webex App live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Webex App go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Webex App again?

No

Possibility to pause the screen share is definetly a plus. This allows to navigate to other windows, while the screen keeps being shared with the audience. However, the calls on temas are not pleasant, the layout is too fixed, dark and looks outdated. After the call window is minimize is tricky to get back on the default display.

Cisco Hybrid Work

  • Working from home
I don't have experience with webex configuration
We chose Microsoft Teams to support our hybrid work environment because of its seamless integration with our existing Microsoft infrastructure, its user-friendly interface, and its comprehensive suite of collaboration tools. Teams has proven to be scalable and secure, meeting our needs for large meetings and webinars while ensuring compliance with security standards.

Cisco Webex Experience

I didn't. I tend to avoid using webex nowadays, it's not as intuitive as Mirosoft Teams. It's not simple to manage and navigate on screen during call, less flexible and more complex, more difficult to integrate on email when we have the complete Office 365 setup. Also, the time it takes to setup a call is anoying.
I don't doubts about the webex security, but the integration with Microsoft Teams is not seamless and I try to avoid using it for collaboration meeting. It's difficult to see all participants (or it0s difficult to understand how to do it). Nowadays I try to avoid it. I just use it for call that were setup by Cisco teams.
We didn't. Actually we tend to avoid usingWebex nowadays, it consumes a lot of CPU resources just to use a blured backgroung on video calls. The time it takes to "grab some chairs" and start the meetings is really bothering and it makes other people to wait on the lobby or in the call for the meeting to start.

Webex App Implementation

Since I did not participate in the implementation of the Webex App, I am unable to provide a rating for the satisfaction level. For a more accurate assessment, it would be best to consult with colleagues who were directly involved in the implementation process. They can offer valuable insights and feedback based on their experience.

Using Webex App

It works fine

Webex App Reliability

In my experience, Webex is a widely available platform that supports global collaboration across multiple devices and platforms. However, I have found that setting up calls can sometimes be frustratingly time-consuming, especially when you're jumping from call to call, from teams or webex, and webex is for sure the app that takes longer to initiate the calls.

Integrating Webex App

  • Microsoft Teams
It's extremely dificult to make Teams calls using Webex video conference systems.
