Overall Satisfaction with Wrike
We use it daily to track project flow as well as work management. Initially we implemented it as a task management tool as this was an easy way to begin the adoption of the tool. We are slowly adding more involved processes and more elements of our work to best utilize the features of the tool. Some of the biggest issues we are hoping to address are team transparency and workflow management.
Pros
- Cross tagging between spaces
- Professional Support and community
- Simple and easy to understand views
- Clear workflows
Cons
- Ease of altering or updating custom workflows
- Clarity between Projects and Folders for new users
- Better Microsoft Outlook integration
- Approval Button
- Custom Fields
- Reports
- Dashboard views
- Far more efficient contract approval process resulting in less work hours spent
- New software has required training of staff to implement and habits have had to be broken
In my opinion Wrike is just as user friendly and has fantastic automations that work well for my company and team.

Wrike Implementation
- Implemented in-house
- Third-party professional services
We used both in-house support by getting team members trained and certified by Wrike, as well as external. The external trainers were consultants from Wrike itself who came as part of our organizations onboarding. They were very helpful and the team member certifications have been great. Definitely recommend having a rep/consultant from Wrike to help though.
Yes - We began with one to two teams utilizing it more as a task manager. After folks became acclimated to the software we slowly ramped up the usage and provided layered training on new features and use cases. After there was success there the larger organization began receiving the training modules and are now currently in the "trail and error phase" with the intention of fully utilizing it by summer.
Change management was a major issue with the implementation - There was a recognition that within the organization there were individuals who struggle with technology and new processes so as we planned we had to identify hurdles and questions to best manage these things. We worked with the consultants to identify steps we could take to ensure comfort and success to build on that allowed people to feel engaged and interested. There are still team members who must be encouraged but the strategic identification of individuals and issues allowed us to build scaffolding for greater success.
Using Wrike
55 - Members across our entire organization are beginning to use Wrike, with the goal of it being fully implemented by this summer. So this includes human resources, operations, finance, events, leadership, as well as program development. Each team has been trying to identify best ways to begin utilizing Wrike for their specific workflows, and we've done this through collaboration with a Wrike consultant as well as with team members who actively use the software already.
5 - Starting with myself, the organization supported 5 staff members at this point to get product training and certification from Wrike through their online programs. Additionally, we had a consultant contracted through our business license who led some workshops with a select group of the staff to ensure a clear understanding of the tool and how to best use it. We represent various teams around the organization so there are so-called super users around the org.
