I have used other AV integrators in the past. AVI-SPL is a good size integrator where they still know your company and logistics. It is rare to find a company that understands your needs and size while still being large enough to service a well established and large company.
Because our systems have been designed specifically for our needs, we have not been inclined to engage other AV vendors. Our relationship with AVI-SPL dates back to 2015 when we engaged them for our initial facility design. That said, we recently entered into a new contract …
We have also used Solutionz, Inc. for quotes, ordering AV solutions and support. Both work closely with us to get competitive prices, can consolidate sourcing from a large pool of vendors, and provide excellent customer service and support after the sale. I think I would put …
AVI SPL was selected for this project based on its competitive pricing. They were also chosen based on the timeliness of their proposal since our project was under a very specific deadline that we were given by our project leadership. They met the deadline and executed the …
Since they have been cost competitive, that is the only reason i have stayed with AVI-SPL. Outside of that i would move to another competitor if i could.
We don't have an exact match for similar services. We have used other companies for low voltage work when needed. It's generally been more cost effective to do so.
We have originally selected the end video and touchscreen solution by which we have moved back to integration partner like AVI-SPL and few other audio video integration solution partners and finally proceeded with AVI-SPL for our solution. They are preferred and top vendor from …
I have use plenty of other A/V companies in the past. They all have they pros and cons. AVI-SPL has consistently proven they can get the job done on time, within budget, and the type of quality I need and expect. AVI-SPL's service department has been able to keep our rooms …
AVI-SPL has provided Cisco Room systems for our conference rooms. They are an integrator for use, not the actual product. WE have decided to move solely to Cisco Room systems as it gives the best overall options, and BYOD is not needed, but it is supported if the need arises.
We went from installing our own rooms with Monitors and computers to using AVI-SPL to install the Teams rooms. We have not used or evaluated another vendor for this.
AVI-SPL can be a bit higher, but they are able to help with more technical support in building solutions better than others. They are slightly more expensive, but it can be worth it in the long run.
We really do not use any other product. We have been very happy with AVI-SPL, so we do not feel we need to use any other product. AVI-SPL has all the resources we need, it easy to use, affordable and it is always easy to get a hold of someone if we have questions.
AVI-SPL distinguished themselves by not only providing a proposal, but they analyzed what we needed and provided some alternatives based on budget and product availability. Knowing what equipment would and would not be available in our timeline was very helpful.
When we implemented in 2013, we evaluated several payroll partners. Due to proximity and the services they presented, they quickly floated to the top of the list.
I used ADP for a short time while we implemented Workday (payroll), and I can say it was not so user-friendly. Once we transitioned to Workday and brought [OneSource Virtual] onboard, life became much easier.
I like that OneSource Virtual has access to our database and can help us however it is needed. [Whereas] other companies we looked at do not touch our system.
ADP was a full service (which I think OneSource Virtual also has) but we don't use it. we just have them complete the backend work after payroll is complete.
The support provided by [OneSource Virtual] has been superior to that of ADP. In addition, the partnership with Workday as their payroll and HR platform is superior to that of ADP.
We feel that we receive a much better "bang for our buck" with OneSource Virtual. They provide flexibility that we do not believe we would receive from the other vendor.

We used another vendor previously for the same exact services and moved to OneSource Virtual due to ongoing service issues. I was unable to get problems answered in a timely manner and there was no escalation path. I no longer have that issue. OneSource Virtual's solution …
The level of support and flexibility of OneSource Virtual is far superior to my experience with ADP. They are readily available to assist with troubleshooting as well as day-to-day needs. ADP was difficult to get in touch with and had a box product that required our business …
We were with an older version of ADP that was about to be discontinued. Our big struggle, quite frankly, was that we felt like a very small fish in a large pond. The customer service component was not to our satisfaction. We reviewed 18 different vendors prior to making a …
When we were evaluating OneSource Virtual for Tax processing we also reviewed our options with ADP. We made the decision to go with OneSource Virtual because they offer the flexibility to be able to support our overall Workday payroll processes (and honestly the entire system) …
Prior to our implementation of Workday and use of OneSource Virtual, our fulfillment provider was using a very outdated system that could not handle complex things. We had a hard time with any projects, especially ones that required quick turnaround, and often had to customize …
We evaluated 1 other implementation partner, but there wasn't any comparison. OneSource Virtual made us very comfortable from the beginning, allowing us to interview members of their project team. They were also helpful in providing recommendations for other outside …
Without disclosing the other vendors we shopped out, OneSource Virtual was right in the middle of the pack for cost. What gave them the project was that they had a long history of success with implementations, as well as a large percent of all Workday implementations. Our HR …

Chose OneSource Virtual
We did not use OneSource Virtual to help us implement Workday. We used a competitor that did a fine job, but we quickly moved to OneSource Virtual post-implementation to take our tenant to the next level!
It would depend on the task and project scope. I recommend them in helping with equipment and dealer or rep needs, and we have worked with AVI SPL into 2025 for this need. We had some difficult integration projects in 2021 to 2022 that did not go so well on the integration side, so there is room for improvement there. However, there were major widespread industry equipment challenges at that time. But in today's market and equipment availability, it may have been a different experience. But we continue to use AVI SPL for some of our equipment needs at this time.
OSV uses tickets/cases for communication, which makes it easy to open and monitor the status of transactions. They are great at net pay processing and filing taxes. If things are not moving along, you can reach out to your Tax Specialist or Customer Success Manager, and they can help escalate concerns. It sounds like they are rearranging their tax filing department so they can facilitate quicker resolutions, so I hope that benefits their customers. They are also interested in reaching out and making things right for the customer. Their Knowledge Center online could use a re-vamp. The search function is not useful at all, and I have a difficult time finding forms such as ACH Reversal form, or the Stop Payment form.
We have Google Room. This isn't much of an AVI-SPL issue. But maybe just setting up a demo model of this system and see how it works. I know you guys don't set this software up often, but for a smaller office like us it may be more prevalent. But all in all it isn't a very complicated system to just figure out on your own. What I like most about the system is that I am able to change settings if needed through the Google admin portal, which is nice!
We receive far too many emails from our cases. They send three just to start with.
Better knowledge of the tax deferrals due to Covid19.
A better reminder of when your contract will end. They spring it on you at the very last second and then you cannot look outside of OneSource Virtual because you need coverage.
They are a great company to work with overall, but there is always room for improvement. We have had incredibly positive experiences with our main sales rep for any and all purchases. The installation team in southwest VA is lacking and lead to quite a lot of issues on a large scale project last year.
Their customer portal which is linked to the initial service ticket that you open is often not updated with your service ticket details or status. You have to rely on the case worker assigned to your ticket to give you updates. It is difficult to just check the status or close notes yourself without searching through your email messages
I have not yet had to engage their help desk for support, so I am unable to provide any feedback regarding their global help desk support capabilities. Their project management team has been very responsive for support during the project lifecycle, which may be different than their operational support services.
Overall, we receive great customer support from OneSource Virtual. The only real hiccup we have had has been around taxes and response times. We had a longer than expected lag in cases regarding notifications from the IRS-which are very important and have to be answered timely. We were able to resolve with SDM but didn't feel that we should have had to escalate.
Because our systems have been designed specifically for our needs, we have not been inclined to engage other AV vendors. Our relationship with AVI-SPL dates back to 2015 when we engaged them for our initial facility design. That said, we recently entered into a new contract with AVI-SPL to maintain a separate studio infrastructure associated with our space after losing faith in our previous vendor. While that relationship has only been in place for a year, we are very pleased with the quality of service provided so far.
The level of support and flexibility of OneSource Virtual is far superior to my experience with ADP. They are readily available to assist with troubleshooting as well as day-to-day needs. ADP was difficult to get in touch with and had a box product that required our business to conform to instead of being able to flex to meet business needs. OneSource Virtual has a deeper platform than Paychex, however, the level of customer support is equal.
We have been able to expand our conference rooms from 1 to 4 and served more congregants in Zoom outreach without increasing complexity.
They have helped us avoid overspending on outside consultants and their equipment recommendations by 50% or more this year.
We are a house of worship, and AVi-SPL's guidance has helped us improve our sound and visuals and brought more people to our church due to the superior experience - attendance has grown over our relationship with AVI from 150 to a seasonal high of 450.
[OneSource Virtual] saves me time by preparing all of our tax filings [so that] I can focus on more of the review and analysis of our payroll costs
Once I run the payroll complete process, [OneSource Virtual] takes over the settlement process giving me one less thing to worry about
[OneSource Virtual] has allowed us to keep our overhead costs low, allowing the company to use those savings on other initiatives while the company grows
