Considered Both Products
Bloomreach
Chose Bloomreach
Bloomreach is the first product of this type that ive used so i cant compare it to other platforms.
Chose Bloomreach
It was not my direct decision but rather a business one, but I can say that compared to Klaviyo, Bloomreach makes it much easier to manage multi-language campaigns.
Chose Bloomreach
Bloomreach provides a better overview of all of the systems that we use
Chose Bloomreach
Much stronger and more relevant results.
Chose Bloomreach
Back then it was more advanced solution than Emarsys and far more cheaper and easier to work on that Salesforce offers. Basically, what I understood then, We would need to buy 2 different solution from salesforce to be comparable to bloomreach.
Chose Bloomreach
Bloomreach is the first true CDP that integrates all customer data that I have used, but previously I have used other CRM/email marketing tools as outlined above. We chose Bloomreach because of its ability to work with so much complex offline data, and the ability to create …

There is a lot more capability with Bloomreach - The Agentic Platform for Personalization.

Chose Bloomreach
Bloomreach has been around in this company since 2016 and will still be. It has become the core concept repository / library. Other alternatives that have been considered in the part were discarded because with our current platform we have quick delivery, good performance and a …
Chose Bloomreach
Bloomreach has it all in one package - and for retailers with many products and many markets you'll find that Bloomreach makes it easy to get an overview over performance for each country, and the email editor is a great tool for multi-language customers. Especially the newest …
Chose Bloomreach
HubSpot CRM, Contentful and Twilio SendGrid
Chose Bloomreach
The support was much stronger and the sales process far more straightforward.

We moved from Emarsys which was a poor platform
Chose Bloomreach
Way more user-friendly, feature-heavy and fitting into our overall business and customer goals.
Chose Bloomreach
A leader and very customisable solution
Chose Bloomreach
We selected Bloomreach - The Agentic Platform for Personalization because it offers a powerful combination of automation, personalisation and analytics all within one platform.
Chose Bloomreach
Each one has its good and bad things. The change to Bloomreach was made because of its supposed ease of use in our case and it has been a success, but it is not perfect for us since for that something very specific would be necessary, as if you were ours.
Chose Bloomreach
From working almost 4 years with Klaviyo we started noticing many discrepancies on the analytics side, and also on the user experience we were providing with the product recommendations that did not performed the way we expected. Bloomreach - The Agentic Platform for …
Chose Bloomreach
Bloomreach is a step above the other CRM tools I have experienced. The amount of customization at your fingertips feels limitless. The trade-off is the gradual learning curve. This is not an entry-level tool — It takes some time to learn how to get what you want out of it.
Chose Bloomreach
Bloomreach - The Agentic Platform for Personalization is doing a lot of great work with GenAI and ML Model development which is something very special in a CDP offering. It also does marketing automation and A/b testing which lot of vendors have their own instead of having all …
Chose Bloomreach
I've selected Bloomreach cause it has Omnichannel orchestration and CDP in one.

Chose WordPress
its all in what you want and how you want to do it. The newer SaaS platforms can be much easier to use for non web people. Also the increasing political issues within the WordPress leadership and communities is starting to get annoying.
Chose WordPress
WordPress simply has so many more options to customize both our and the users experience. Wix also is really expensive in the long run, does not let you add plugins or customize as much as you want. Jimdo is similar, just not quite as expensive. When growing our business, those …
Chose WordPress
WordPress is more cost effective and less of a learning curve for new users
Chose WordPress
There are no other site builders/platforms that stand up to the ease and versatility (heavy custom coding and customizations included) as Wordpress. Drupal is clunky and outdated, as is Joomla, and while Wix or Squarespace may be sufficient for someone with very low web needs, …
Chose WordPress
WordPress has the most open abilities to change the technical foundations. Whereas, other platforms typically have their own niches of use cases; e.g. focusing on page builders, drag and drop, more static code, themes etc... WordPress offers a bit more flexibilities as it can …
Chose WordPress
I like that WordPress sites can be backed up and moved to new servers if needed. Some of the other template sites lock you in because their back-end code is what makes it run.
Chose WordPress
WordPress was very similar to the others and we mostly chose to use WordPress based on the recommendation of an employee who used the site for building other websites. We were told that it was very user-friendly. which it is, and so we made the decision to stick with a product …
Chose WordPress
Wix is more expensive to use, and, in my opinion, not as easy to navigate. You are more limited in what you can do with a Wix site, app wise.
Chose WordPress
I use a lot of business software.
Some I use for a short while. Some I never stop using.
WordPress has been part of my business life for 15 years and has never disappointed me. It has always improved and I never felt the "upgrade" were a downgrade... this is one of the few …
Chose WordPress
To work with WordPress your company needs a developer, no matter what. Unless you have the experienced developer in house, you will need one. Squarespace is superfriendly and easy to work. Has all the features for a simple and clean website. WordPress lacks this part.
Chose WordPress
DIY builders have their place for people that don't have technical ability or support. But Wordpress opens a world of custom options to anyone with the ability to learn/create those things. even if you're not a back end developer / use No-code options
Chose WordPress
I've just been using WordPress forever so it is my go to recommendation for non technical people
Chose WordPress
Wordpress is an open source, and it will always come with a set of drawbacks but also benefits. We see a major drawback in the hosting, which can get complex, and it becomes hard to have a fully functioning and fast site running. Other solutions are often SaaS, which handles …
Chose WordPress
Shopify is much better for big e-commerce sites but is more expensive. WordPress is a good solution for customers who want a low-cost option or are unsure if their website will be profitable. Wordpress is a good way to prove that a concept for selling a product will work online.
Chose WordPress
Wordpress and Shopify don't support e-commerce. Wix is more design-focused. Blogger was limiting but easy to use with Google products.
Chose WordPress
I have not used Drupal or Joomla for several years, but WordPress is easier to use than those platforms from when I used them last. It's so easy to find a web developer who knows WordPress if I ever need help. And there are so many plugins and software platforms that …
Chose WordPress
In our experience, Drupal is so much hard to use and customize. Their upgrade path is almost nonexistent. We've had such a hard time over the years working to try and keep using and upgrading and updating Drupal, but we're SO DONE with it. We have decided to leave Drupal …
Chose WordPress
We've tried a decent variety of other platforms throughout the years, and all-in-all we still consistently use WordPress for all kinds of business solutions. We have found while others excel in specific areas, WordPress excels in almost every area pound for pound. We highly …
Chose WordPress
WordPress is easier to learn and implement. It isn’t as robust as drupal and joomla out of the box, but with plugins and themes you can accomplish most things that these other CMS can do. Although WordPress can get bulky as you add more functionality, in comparison it’s easier …
Chose WordPress
WordPress was the right choice for our organization for web content management and hosting our website. We selected it on the recommendation of a community partner but are more than comfortable with that decision. From our usage, WordPress appears to be near the top of the heap …
Chose WordPress
WordPress isn't as pretty or easy to use as certain competitors like Jimdo, Squarespace or HubSpot, but it makes up for it with its affordability, familiarity and the ability to find quality outside help easily. The same can't be said for certain competitors, as you might need …
Chose WordPress
WordPress has WAY more to offer than the previous website platform I used. I am so appreciative of WordPress for years of successful writing and publishing.

They've just been a great partner to work with. They put forth 100% when bringing platforms to the merchant and were highly prepared and knowledgeable during the sales cycle and implementation, and remained very connected post-implementation to ensure client success with the platform. Their CEO is always eager to sit down, talk shop, and listen to clients' needs, and you can tell from his enthusiasm that he cares about making this company the best in class.

In my opinion, smaller organizations with simpler layouts would be well suited to use WordPress, however, larger organizations with more advanced website feature needs may need another product. We found the website to be great at first, but as we grew, we needed more options that were not fitting for the product we had with WordPress and had to look at alternatives.

Pros
  • The product recommendations engine allows for us to create a personalised experience for every customer across the 3m emails we send each month. This ensure that our customers remain connected to our brand.
  • The customer data platform attached to Bloomreach Composable Personalization Cloud provides an all-in-one solution for our business intelligence needs. Allowing up-to-date purchasing, behaviour, and engagement reporting from our email to website activity.
  • The ability to integrate with Meta and other paid ad formats allows for us to create a connected omnichannel experience for users, ensuring we are providing the right message, to the right person, at the right time, in the right place.

  • Easy to use User Interface
  • Coding / Plugin Implementation is awesome
  • There's always a solution available for the platform
  • Security is easy to use and robust
  • Implementation with 3rd party platforms, such as Google's variety of tools
  • Can download and host on your own server or use their hosted servers

Cons
  • Could improve some of the dashboarding to make reporting on emails more time efficient
  • Could offer a way to easily combine email templates if they already exist separately
  • A way to allow multiple people to work in a scenario at the same time and all saves be registered

  • WordPress breaks often so you need to have someone who understands how to troubleshoot, which can take time and money.
  • Some plugins are easier to customize than others, for example, some don't require any coding knowledge while others do. This can limit your project if you are not a coder.
  • WordPress can be easily hacked, so you also need someone who can ensure your sites are secure.

As time goes on, websites will become less focused on paged content and more immersive. At the same time, the need for security will only go up. While WordPress has served the web community well for over 11 years, it's probably time to look for other better platforms.

Usability
In my time working with Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud, I always liked to work with it. It is crucial that you get support from experts from the beginning to show you how to work with the vast amount of options and activities to choose from. The learning curve is also well-rounded because of its user-friendly interface and highly skilled customer support.

WordPress has excellent UX/UI, mainly because it's familiar. The platform is still a bit dated on the back end, but it has improved from the past. I wouldn't give it a 10 in this area because it does require some coding and development knowledge. You can't just jump in and create a website with confidence, like you would with Jimdo, Squarespace or similar tools.

Reliability and Availability
The platform is generally reliable - major outages are rare and most day-to-day campaign operations run without interruption. Where it dips: occasional slowdowns in the analytics dashboard during peak loads, and sometimes scenario executions get delayed without clear explanation. The real-time event processing is mostly solids. Overall uptime is strong - it is not something that keeps me up at night, but it is not flawless either.

ten out of ten, Bloomreach has revolutionised our marketing capabilities. It has allowed us to get real time data insights from our customers, and then put these into action. Previously it would be a very time consuming and slow process for us to get any sort of campaign out but not anymore, this has lead to increased conversions and revenue

Mostly, any performance issues have to do with using too many plugins and these can sometimes slow down the overall performance of your site. It is very tempting to start adding lots of plugins to your WordPress site, however, as there are thousands of great plugins to choose from and so many of them help you do amazing things on your site. If you begin to notice performance issues with your WordPress site (e.g. pages being slow to load), there are ways to optimize the performance of your site, but this requires learning the process. WordPress users can learn how to optimize their WordPress sites by downloading the WPTrainMe WordPress training plugin (WPTrainMe.com) and going through the detailed step-by-step WordPress optimization tutorials.

Support Rating
The project team consistently delivers excellent collaboration and is always available whenever assistance is needed. Their responsiveness and commitment make working together smooth and efficient. Bloomreach support, which is included for free in the platform, can also be quite useful, especially for quick clarifications. However, the quality and speed of their responses can sometimes vary, depending on the issue.

WordPress itself only has community service so your experience will depend on where you turn. Online, through forums and community boards, support is rudimentary but effective. You can easily turn to your local community and find exceptional individuals who know and use WordPress regularly for more advanced, inexpensive, support. I'm rating this less than 10 because of the lack of any formal support provided by a company.

Varies by the person providing training. High marks as it's incredibly easy to find experienced individuals in your community to provide training on any aspect of WordPress from content marketing, SEO, plugin development, theme design, etc. Less than 10 though as the training is community based and expectations for a session you find may fall short.

WordPress is not a great solution if you have: 1) A larger site with performance / availability requirements. 2) Multiple types of content you want to share - each with its own underlying data structure. 3) Multiple sites you need to manage. We chose Bloomreach because of its ability to work with so much complex offline data, and the ability to create personalised scenarios based on very specific business needs. There are no other site builders/platforms that stand up to the ease and versatility (heavy custom coding and customizations included) as Wordpress. Drupal is clunky and outdated, as is Joomla, and while Wix or Squarespace may be sufficient for someone with very low web needs, much like Shopify, it's incredibly limiting and either requires hitting it with a hammer and hacking code together to do what you want, or relying on often shoddily-built third party themes and liquid scripts.

Scalability
there is an option of multiple projects per organisation, customers and assets can be copied across. Multiple sites can be managed in one project, different activities organized under initiatives. Splitting work into sensible units is therefore well possible. The billing is based on number of tracked and number of stored events, no package-based deals. It should therefore be well scalable from a small e-store to a large corporation.

WordPress is completely scalable. You can get started immediately with a very simple "out-of-the box" WordPress installation and then add whatever functionality you need as and when you need it, and continue expanding. Often we will create various WordPress sites on the same domain to handle different aspects of our strategy (e.g. one site for the sales pages, product information and/or a marketing blog, another for delivering products securely through a private membership site, and another for running an affiliate program or other application), and then ties all of these sites together using a common theme and links on each of the site's menus. Additionally, WordPress offers a multisite function that allows organizations and institutions to manage networks of sites managed by separate individual site owners, but centrally administered by the parent organization. You can also expand WordPress into a social networking or community site, forums, etc. The same scalability applies to web design. You can start with a simple design and then scale things up to display sites with amazing visual features, including animations and video effects, sliding images and animated product image galleries, elements that appear and fade from visitor browsers, etc. The scaling possibilities of WordPress are truly endless.
