I would neither recommend nor dissuade anyone from using Join.Me. When it first came on the scene, it was a game-changer as far as providing remote access to other authorized individuals and helped save a great deal of time trying to walk someone less proficient through all the detailed steps of computer repair. However, with the proliferation of Zoom and other conferencing products that also provide built-in remote access through its service, the need for a separate application is now limited and not as essential as its own product.

We plan to integrate TeamViewer with Microsoft Intune for better support assistance, asset inventory, third-party updates, and pushing Windows Update and versions. We are currently using both LogMeIn and TeamViewer but looking to move fully move over to TeamViewer, but we have both for redundancy in case one of the applications crashes, which it does happen. Especially with Apple devices, LogMeIn seems to have an easier time using un-attended access compared to TeamViewer, as well as being able to hear the audio.

- No need to download anything to get started. Once you sign up you can get started from within your browser. This is probably the single best feature, its a get up and go solution for video conferencing and you do not need any software for it to work.
- The one click join a meeting URL is genius. Users who struggle with remembering passwords or invites can just click a link and immediately participate in a meeting which means one email and a couple of clicks and a meeting can start.
- Good control features - As the main user, you have many control features including deciding who can speak, annotations, screen sharing easily.
- Screen Recordings to the Cloud - This can save on time when you have had a long conference, you can save a recording to the cloud and download it later.

- Teamviewer has the ability to set up a Quick Support option so that you do not need to permanently install anything on a user's computer. The user clicks the link you send them and a temp program is installed to help with access.
- TeamViewer's list of options, once in a session, is the best I have seen. The automatic ability to reconnect when you reboot a user's PC is particularly helpful.
- Teamviewer easily supports multiple monitors so if on with someone that has 3 monitors you can easily click through each view.
- Since the application has matured over the years, it has great support both from the publisher and general internet support.

- There should be a complete guide to understand its features before installation because if one feature will be missed then, we can’t get them working properly.
- Furthermore, there should be high-quality internet for getting its function and it won’t work without good network coverage.

- TeamViewer is very difficult to set up initially when trying to set up a permanent remote connection. It requires several steps that have to be done just right, or else it won't work, and doesn't give any indication of why it won't work.
- TeamViewer is slow to make the initial connection.
- Compared to other remote support products we use, TeamViewer lacks several features, such as the ability to see detailed information about a given computer without logging into the computer.

I do not have complaints with the product. In fact, TeamViewer is used by some of our support companies (tech support, accounting, software, etc.), and it performs well. It is simply more product than we needed in our application, and more money than we can justify budgeting.

I honestly haven't reached out to their Support team. I get notifications of what they are working on which is good to see, but I haven't directly spoken with any of them. I think my main reason for this is that join.me gives me just what I need (not much more and not much less).

the few times i have had to contact teamviewer support, they were very responsive and give me quick answers and seemed to understand my problems quickly and easily. I did not have to sit on the phone for hours on hold or get passed around to multiple phone support techs before finding a solution to my issues, so i would rate their support very highly.

I have never used the online training either. I have watched a few informational videos that were helpful when learning how to do a specific procedure within TeamViewer and get the most out of the software by utilizing one of the many features that are available with the software. When I tried LogMeIn and VNC, I discovered that TeamViewer was more reliable, quicker to set up, and more consistent in terms of connection stability and reliability. - Customer support solution - join.me has made it so much easier to quickly get with a customer and see their trouble and show them a solution. This saves lots of back and forth time and gives the customer more power over owning their solution.
