Chose Microsoft Teams
The main advantage of Microsoft Teams over these suites comes down to interfacility with other Microsoft Programs used ubiquitously in the office. Both of the other softwares have advantages in other respects for VoIP and group management, but Teams just fits in with the other …
The Nextiva Business Phone Service interface is easier to use, although 8x8 has more features. The cost for Nextiva Business Phone Service is roughly half of 8x8 and has better onboarding services. Tech support is also better for Nextiva Business Phone Service.
Nextiva is the best phone service that we have encountered. The calls are clean and clear. We can transfer calls at ease whether it be to and individual or to the individual's voice mail. The Nextiva app allows us to see messages, missed calls, and chats at a glance. With …
Price is more competitive and it had just the right amount of services that I needed. Ringcentral had a few more features but they were not really usefull for our use case.
I like Nextiva Business Phone Service a lot better in comparison to RingCentral. It's easier to use and seems to be less glitchy. I do not pay for either as an employee so I could not compare cost-wise - but if they are the same relatively speaking - Nextiva Business Phone …
I honestly haven't tried the videoconferencing on Nextiva yet to be able to compare, but I like the handheld phone. I'm guessing Nextiva has a place to add docs, but I haven't tried to find it yet. I'm just such a new business, I'm still figuring out Nextiva's features.
We chose Nextiva Business Phone Service because they were able to deliver better customer service than our prior vendor

Chose Nextiva
Nextiva Business Phone Service does offer a lot of bells and whistles but also offers basic packages depending on needs. The level of features we needed along with the cost and reliability of the company is why we selected Nextiva Business Phone Service. The implementation …
Nextiva stacks up very well. The main reason Nextiva was selected is Customer Service. Hands down one of the best companies when it comes to customer service and helping their customers. You can always get a hold of a live agent fairly quickly. Email support is typically …
It is well-suited for an organization with many team members who are scattered throughout different locations. It offers organization and clarity to projects, files, and tasks in one centralized location. It would be a bit of an overkill for a small organization where everyone is in the same location 5 days a week
We have had great service with Nextiva Business Phone Service and it is reliable and reasonably priced for the offered features. User Friendly and minimal issues. We are able to control most of the set up for new users and or new phones when needed. Only would like to see the app - Nextiva One be enhanced with more features than it currently has.
The use of two apps when you're a supervisor. We have to use Unity and the Nextiva app instead of one app. It can be cumbersome.
Better integration with CRM's. We use Zendesk and it works ok as it does pull up customer records if we have their phone number on file. But it would be better if we could have more functionality from one place and have it write to the CRM directly.
Accept higher quality audio for greeting recordings. We had to trim the file size down several times losing a lot of audio quality in the process. Mono is fine since callers will only need to hear the one channel. But the Hz limit and file size limit were rough.
Microsoft Teams is included with our Office 365 subscription and we have no intention of migrating off of Office 365 and Microsoft products. Since Microsoft Teams is included for free with our Office 365 subscription, and since we enjoy all the features, benefits, and functionality, there is no question that our team will continue to use the product
Its user friendly, easy to use and has been very reliable. We have nothing but good things to say about our service with Nextiva Business Phone Service. When needed their support team has always resolved any and all issues one way or another. They have been helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. The features vs the cost is wonderful compared to other service providers.
If you have the full Microsoft Office suite, it works really well because it's integrated well within its ecosystem, but if not, it can be annoying because it tries to open a shared file in the web versions of the file equivalents. The web version is also a bit slow, and the login is very difficult to handle if you have multiple Microsoft or Outlook accounts.
The whole system sucks. It’s the worst and we are stuck. They won’t price match, they won’t even consider the other quotes we have and all they tell us to buy out and move on. They’re money grabbing snakes who need to go away. How they have this many stars is insane. I don’t know how people are writing these reviews
The overall support provided by Microsoft for Microsoft Teams has been quite good but there is still some room for improvements. Microsoft needs to proactively work on fixing the open bugs in order to provide a seamless experience to the users. But over the service and experience provided by the Microsoft team have been quite satisfactory.
Support is great. We usually get someone on the phone; they answer our questions and help us with our issues. They are responsive when we call, and there is also a wealth of information on their online help center, which will typically answer our question or send us in the right direction.
No was done by Agency Owner and was done with the help of Nextiva Support and Sales team. Went very well and has been working great since then. Was originally only two phones and then we continue to add to that. We did not have any reported issues and was a great experience for our Agency and Small Business.
Microsoft Teams offers a much more integrated experience between their chat and video call function compared to Google Chat and Slack. Both other tools are much better for internal communications are they have simpler UI without other features. Whereas Microsoft Teams can be used for more critical conversations, particularly between external companies, and has been very useful in sales conversations which is what we chose it for when speaking to companies that work exclusively through Microsoft.
We switched for better uptime, ease of use, and better tech support and got all that from Nextiva. We were constantly losing connection with our previous provider, a package service for internet and phone. The web portal is much easier to use, and the call center offers many more features.
Honestly, this tool is worth every penny. Yes, it's not free and you pay for the quality of services and the license. But the ROI and the benefits are all there. Also, the renewal, negotiation, and contract terms are all very well explained by our Microsoft account manager, and she's a charm.
I used Skype for Business to take calls, hold conferences, and provide remote assistance to users. Microsoft Teams, on the other hand, is superior to Skype for Business in my opinion. My job entails a lot of screen sharing.
Because our unit decided to go all in with Microsoft Products, the integration and flow of our communication and files are seamless.
Microsoft Teams is very secure. Only those who are logged in with their university credentials can access the files we share and the events we host. Therefore, we don't have to worry about privacy and security for the virtual events we host.
If our virtual events are open to the public, joiners outside the organization often struggle to join because Microsoft Teams is not the most familiar tool amongst the public.
ROI - we are saving money, a lot of money, and we have a MUCH better phone system
Consolidation - we migrated 6 different phone systems in 6 different counties into one, and it's been wonderful!
Management - managing this system is so much better than Mitel, Panasonic, and any other system I have used. We are able to assign rights to certain staff to also make changes, and it's user friendly and almost fool proof.
