TeamViewer
Chose TeamViewer
TeamViewer is an all in once app. We have remote control, simultaneous sessions with different clients, acceptable price for teams, training sessions, easy to use, multiuser connections, file transfer, screen recording, session recording, cloud storage. It also has better …
Chose TeamViewer
I have evaluated Zoom, Skype for Business, and, in particular, TeamViewer. TeamViewer stands out among all because its remote access feature is more robust than the rest.
Chose TeamViewer
The remote control is better than all the mentioned tools. The lag is not there compared to other tools. TeamViewer is easy on the pocket. The support team is actually helpful. The VPN feature is better than every other tool, which is why I woul prefer TeamViewer than the other …
Chose TeamViewer
The file-sharing ability in TeamViewer is amazing. Moreover, the remote access feature in TeamViewer is far greater compared to the other alike remote access software.
Chose TeamViewer
So far TeamViewer is my preferred, go to software for this particular need. Zoom isn't bad, but it is laggy in comparison. However, it has the chat feature and ability to multi-conference with many people at once. To my knowledge, TeamViewer can only connect one person to one …
Chose TeamViewer
Actually there are many other applications that are considered as competition, but because of the long experience I have had with TeamViewer, even the others have not exceeded what it offers me. Others might have new considerations that with this I have mastered properly, and …
Chose TeamViewer
I feel TeamViewer is simpler to use and performs at a higher level. We experienced lag and clunky UI when we sampled GoToMeeting. The TeamViewer option provided the level of support that we were looking for. The simplicity to install on users' machines and customize our login …

Whenever you need to speak with someone who is not an experienced internet-user, Proficonf is the best. I mean there's a big green button you need to press. Sometimes you need to put your name. That's it. Even the old folks can handle it well. Also, we find Proficonf surprisingly good working with a non-stable internet connection. I mean, of course, quality is decreasing (they say it's adaptive), but the video remains smooth. Even in those cases, Proficonf has probably the smoothest video among all video conferencing services.

TeamViewer
I think it works well for IT management and help desk support of end users. I find it very useful to help users and send files to their desktop. Remote Workers still run into some problems with MFA and updates, both to the TV Host app and OS updates. However, it does give us secure direct access without the need of a VPN.

Zoom
Zoom is well-suited for any service-based business that relies on face-to-face communications, whether for client meetings or external sales calls. Zoom also provides a good platform for internal team meetings to discuss creative ideas or for one-on-one sessions. Zoom is also excellent for larger webinars where you need to present to larger audiences.

TeamViewer
  • With an iPad, you can't take control of the device, so you have to tell someone what to do. Which can be a challenge because the end user doesn't know what to do
  • With the free version of TeamViewer you cant enter Admin credentials because TeamViewer blocks the windows to fill in the credentials
  • The free version can be really limited which can be putting off people because they don't see the full potential of TeamViewer

  • I wish there were more polling options available in Zoom in general, and this extends to both webinar polling and post-webinar surveys. Could certainly do with a more robust polling feature set.
  • Setting up Registration for Zoom webinars can be very tricky, and I usually advise against webinar registration. The fact that users have to manually download an .ics to add it to their O365 calendars after registering means lots of issues with users attempting to join after registering early.
  • I would have complained about lack of breakout rooms for webinars, or the fact that the practice room can't be turned back on after it was turned off, but Zoom recently implemented webinar breakout rooms plus the Backstage feature, so both of these common complaints are now fully addressed!

We need this tool in our day to day business. It is what we do all day remoting into clients devices. In this day and age we can access devices all over the world as long as we have secure internet connection. It certainly saves money in gas, and even if you are away you can help.

We will be renewing with Zoom as long as it continues to meet our needs for client and lead outreach needs in a robust manner. With little error and an easy to use interface, Zoom has met our needs and exceeded our expectations. TeamViewer is a reliable and really strong tool for accessing remote IT platforms secure and fast. We don't know any product that provide us such strong functionality to make our life as a internationally recognized MES provider with DIAMES with an international clientele so easy. We look forward for any new TeamViewer functionality that supports us even more.

Zoom Events is complex, but gets "almost easy" with experience and good guidance. I tell people, "Hosting a meeting is like driving a car; hosting a webinar is like driving an 18-wheeler; and hosting a Zoom Event is like flying a commercial airliner." You need experience, training, and ongoing guidance to be good at Zoom Events. Zoom has staff that knows everything there is to know about Zoom Events, but finding them and reaching them isn't easy. There aren't many consultants out there that are affordable and experienced.

the few times i have had to contact teamviewer support, they were very responsive and give me quick answers and seemed to understand my problems quickly and easily. I did not have to sit on the phone for hours on hold or get passed around to multiple phone support techs before finding a solution to my issues, so i would rate their support very highly.

Zoom [Video Webinar] has online web portal where user can take control of the meetings and their settings. It provides details of all the meeting happened and also provides participants list. It has support for webinars and recording also. Zoom [Video Webinar] gave special cloud permissions for paid users also from web portal and that can help in saving disk space.

I have never used the online training either. TeamViewer installation and deployment to other devices is pretty straightforward and does not require much technical know-how. This makes ease of use attractive when supporting both new and existing clients with limited technical knowledge. I think ease of use is a huge factor in getting new clients. TeamViewer handles that extremely well.

Proficonf proved to be a bit better than appear.in in terms of video quality and features. Zoom and Skype weren't any good for us. Proficonf is completely web-based, so it doesn't require a download like Skype or Zoom. Proficonf has much better video quality, there's no competition on that subject. And it's so much easier to use. However Skype is also a messenger, so we are still sometimes using it.

TeamViewer's cost is much lower than that of other solutions, and its security is far superior to RemotePC's. TeamViewer is also a request-based remote session manager, unlike other software that allows indefinite connection time. TeamViewer's free version makes it even better for one end of the group to find support, while the other end has the paid version.

We moved away from MS Teams due to several factors: 1)The ability to have a calendar reminder pop up for the upcoming webinar. 2)The ability to have Zoom automatically send a customized one hour reminder email to everyone who registered. 3)Webinar templates that speed up the setup of each of our webinars. 4)Integrated polling and collaboration tools.

  • Prior to Zoom, the best way to train was to travel to their business. Or to do it remotely, it was to allow multiple hours and allocating time to help them set up the technology. It was a mess. We were able to shave travel costs/technology implementation costs.
  • We no longer have to waste time playing technology ping pong, bouncing between different platforms. Zoom Video webinar just works.
  • My tech team used to have to set up the webinar events, because of how complicated GoToWebinar can be. Zoom makes it easy that anyone can do it.
