ZoomInfo Sales is a modern go-to-market platform for B2B companies. ZoomInfo Sales helps find buyers based on an Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP), advanced company attributes, and accurate contact information in B2B. It is used to identify the next customer using data-driven insights and buying signals that reveal companies that are ready to buy.
I think each product has their own benefits and strengths. Since I use ZoomInfo Operations on more frequent basis I like that more because of its versatility and scope.
ZoomInfo complements these other services, by fitting into the "process chain" of sales and acquisition. We use marketing to get the leads, operations to aggregate and qualify, ZI sales to enhance the data and fill blanks, and then ZoomInfo Chat to internally spread the news.
This was the other tool we reviewed, but the OS applications were more detailed and had better results. Although still a good tool it just did not fit our scope for our sales group. Have yet to find any of the ZoomInfo tools to not be but quality and informational …
We ZoomInfo for our list building needs, because when compared to Everstring's 30-40% email quality, we found that ZoomInfo is around 60% verified emails. We have found that their data filtering is much better in terms of contacts but it is hard to determine before exporting if …
We still use Zoom in situations in which the contact information is not up to date in EverString, but they do not offer the same insights that EverString does so I wouldn't necessarily say they're comparable. The information that EverString provides us is much more in-depth, up …
EverString's keyword tagging/search make this a much more flexible tool. Also, it uses a proprietary industry classification instead of just using SIC or NAICS codes.
I've found ZoomInfo to be stronger in terms of contact information but EverString to be more accurate when it comes to Revenue. They are two tools that work great together as they fill in each other's weaknesses.
I personally would never have chosen EverString had I been a part of the decisionmaking process. Clearbit is a much better platform for the same type of information, and Hoovers has more accurate account-level information.
We currently use Zoom Info to search contact data once we find accounts through Everstring that we want to reach out to. We are finding that the contact data from Zoom Info is slightly better than that of Everstring however Everstring is getting better with their new …
EverString provides a more accurate picture and is more relevant since the information is updated on a weekly basis. This makes it easier to stay current with prospect account and understand any ongoing changes within the organization.
I have used and am currently using both of the tools above. I love SalesLoft for the ability to manage the prospecting process at a contact and account basis, while providing tracking against the information I send or the attempts I make to contact a prospect.
We still have ZoomInfo and hoovers, but where EverString wins is that its a live connected to our CRM that updates monthly & its a multi database vs a single that constantly learns and gets better.
EverString has much more enriched data than EverString as well as having the intent and other features not offered on ZoomInfo. However, it comes at a much bigger price tag.
I did not have any evaluation into the selection process here at Acquia. We do have ZoomInfo accounts as well as DiscoverOrg, although those accounts are spread out within the organization. I have used DiscoverOrg at my previous employer and to me, that is far and away the best …
ZoomInfo is our favorite contact database we've found, with the ability to query complex title strings as well as layer on all the usual contact-lvl filters. That said, it doesn't help much with knowing who to target, you just consistently find who you're looking for once …

I do not have a ton of experience with other tools that are similar to ZoomInfo. However, after using ZoomInfo for almost two years, I will never choose to use another competing software. ZoomInfo has made my life so much easier and has increased my production. If you want to …
With EverString, it's much easier to determine what the intent topic is of a company that appears in your search. Furthermore, it's easier to search for the intent in a company's profile in EverString. This is an area where ZoomInfo needs to improve upon. I want to be able to …
ZoomInfo really excels in its usability. It has a really slick and intuitive user interface that makes it easy to get around. This also allows you to come up with ideas for different search criteria in order to find new companies that could be a good fit.
I was not at the company when ZoomInfo was scoped and brought onboard, but I believe the main reasons it was chosen over competitors were: 1) it's cost effective; 2) easy-to-use SFDC integration; 3) match rates. I've used similar tools at past jobs and would argue that while …
ZoomInfo is well suited for a new company that needs to load a CRM, or has a CRM thats over 18 months old and needs to be refreshed. Itd really only be inappropriate if you had 100 or less customers and knew them all well, or you aren't in B2B Sales.
I have found it to work best combined with LinkedIn Sales Nav. I use the filters on the sales navigation search to find people I wish to target, then use the sidebar to export individuals with the correct information into our CRM quickly. That is my bread-and-butter play as a BDR; I'm in there every day. It is also helpful to quickly check a company's revenue and employee count.
EverString allows us to build account lists based off in-depth firmographic or technographic data. It's far more accurate than trying to build these lists any other way.
EverString is fast. Where it might've previously taken us weeks to build lists of this quality, we now can build them in a matter of minutes (and have them ready to be published in a couple of hours).
Zoominfo provides us scoops regarding any new upcoming project or pain points (difficulties) facing by certain companies which helps a lot in our business to contact such companies.
Zoominfo gives us the exaction info such as email address, Direct or Cell phone number of particular contact which we want and we don't get anywhere except zoominfo
Zoominfo has huge database. Intent is one of the favorite section where we get the exact info about the companies/industries which we want
Zoominfo Connects with Hubspot which is another benefit for us to add any specific contact directly to our HubSpot app.
For initial users, the system can be a little overwhelming. A ZoomInfor SalesOS Basics guide could be beneficial to keep new users from feeling lost amongst all the options.
Clearer instructions on how to set targeted search parameters for inbound information would be beneficial.
Would love to keep everstring as part of our tech stack in the future. if we ever have to move from everstring it will be due to budget not the solution itself.
I'm not the contact. But I see it is where things are moving and if you don't have the information ZoomInfo gathers and continues to be more honed in on our customer or prospective customers, we will lose any advantages we once had and will be left behind.
List uploads for enhancements and the fact that RingLead is powerful and useful make my life as an analyst super easy. I can upload files in bulk and know that everything is mapping correctly without manually going line by line.
Overall super simple to use. You do not need any training to use it, just a couple of minutes as it is very intuitive. I love using it because it has everything in one place except cadence. The filters on accounts and prospects is very easy to use as well.
Have a plan on how you're going to evaluate. We had a two-month trial period, but a six-month average lead cycle time, making it impossible to evaluate on a purely new-business ROI basis within the trial. We applied the model to our prior data, which demonstrated how much time and effort was devoted to accounts that weren't going to close
There would have nice while providing a great platform to use, to have an in person class to show how it would best serve us and to navigate. Nothing was provided to myself outside of having a sign on and the preloaded steps to get through basic processes
This was the other tool we reviewed, but the OS applications were more detailed and had better results. Although still a good tool it just did not fit our scope for our sales group. Have yet to find any of the ZoomInfo tools to not be but quality and informational applications. So highly recommend them.
There’s a few not listed. All in all, ZoomInfo Sales is an essential tool if you’re hunting hard and often. The AI functionality is superior to anything else I’ve used. However, if you’re a come and go, now and then prospector you can get by with other search engines that are “static” or seeming to be lacking in current data. LI Sales Nav is great, but you’re not going to get ahold of normal mid level people on there, and contact details are protected. The biggest competitive benefit here is you get everything you could possibly want to know, I’m not aware of any other product that can hang.
Generate more pipeline - indirectly. Data from anywhere still needs to be transformed and used for a business objective.
Saved time in doing research and data population.
Assuming a business will purchase a data vendor, the comparison between other vendors is a factor of cost, functionality, and data quality. ZoomInfo has higher costs typically - which would lower the ROI - but with proper incentives or discounts, the comparative ROI grows.
