I like its flexibility and reliability of SAP Integration Suite. It supports many different Integration scenarios, both cloud-based and on-premise making our work easier.
Having lots of applications on SAP ecosystems, SAP Integration Suite is the best choice. This comes along with many pre-delivered open connectors, also allows us to develop our own connectors. Event triggers batch processing, credential store and cloud ALM connections helped a …
SAP Integration Suite helps to support trend analysis and reporting in real time as it tracks the students enrollment paatterns, payment behaviors as well overtime academic performance
SAP Integration Suite is pretty good tool for integration compared to Boomi . SAP Integration Suite is should focus on licensing part where Boomi is provide much cheaper price for us as a long term customer .
It is not direct comparison of the product but more like a conjuction of the use cases. Postman flows are for sure present but offer niche solution compared to enterprise grade solution by SAP.
Workato is much more advanced than Zapier, and although less apps/integrations are offered - but the ones offered are really deep ones. This is also geared towards enterprises is what I believe whereas Zapier focuses more on SMEs and Mid-Market. Although learning curve is steep …
Workato is definitely the easiest tool to work with. We found other tools more challenging when there are no pre-built connectors, and it requires coding knowledge to extract objects from JSON payload for example. In Workato, the payload is auto parse and each object can be …
Workato is useful for the rapid development of simple workflow-oriented integrations. It was not designed for large, enterprise integrations like Boomi. Their target audiences and target use cases overlap in some areas, but there are very important differences. We selected …
Our developers are certified in Workato, Mulesoft and Boomi. We tested Workato and compared it to Mulesoft and Boomi for an IPaaS solution. Workato claims that anyone off the street with no IT training whatsoever can build integrations with their tool. This is absurd. No, …
Offers many, if not all, of the same capabilities that competitors have. Zapier is more user friendly, and cost effective for many organizations. Not needing to have technology experience is also attractive. Mule soft is usually overkill for some of the more straight forward …
Both products were much more complicated to configure and get started with. With Workato, we had simple integrations set up and running without a couple of hours. With Jitterbit and SnapLogic it required some training just to evaluate it, and also required a lot of …
Workato proved to be the most user-friendly integration platform, showing the most promise in the area of no-code or low-code analyst-capable interface configuration.
We have experience using MS Flow, Zapier, Pervasive, Talend, .net, and others. After extensive research and testing, Workato has shown itself as a clear leader in the iPaas space.
Workato beats the competition pound for pound, not even close. It's a much more enterprise-grade tool, designed from the ground up to be stable, solid, and secure. The other tools I've tried were either buggy, lacking in capability, felt like toys, or were really hard to scale.
We ended up choosing Workato because of how easy it was to get started and because it did everything we needed it to do. It was one of the first products we trialed specifically for this use case even though we had used other products in the past. The trial was enough time to …
I use Workato for the full view of my process. Both the console on errors and debugging as well as the unified view of each task I'm automating. In addition, I know that Workato has all the power necessary for enterprise integration.
Zapier's integration tools are impressive, especially considering the cost. Their connectors are lacking functionality vs Workato, which ultimately leads to more development time and cost. Workato's built-in functionality, like lookup tables, are extremely impressive. They …
A market leader when it comes to an out of the box/do it yourself integration tool. It is very user-friendly with an excellent track record for new connectors and reliability.
We ended up using Workato for the functional user abilities as well as the flexibility in the platform. Our business is agile and an integration build today may not have a lifecycle longer than 6 months without modification. We wanted the ability to maintain these ourselves …
Zapier was great for simple integrations, however, error handling and recipe writing isn't as strong. We also found the pricing to be deceiving once working on more complex integrations.
CA Automic offers everything under the sun and it's a little harder to use for someone that doesn't know coding. With Workato there is a smaller learning curve and their support team has be instrumental in our success.
I've used and explored others. Workato was the quickest to learn and deploy at a reasonable cost. The others had large learning curves and were more expensive.
We found Workato to be easier to use, more powerful and more robust than other solutions we tested at the time. It simply does the trick and allowed us to implement all that we needed in all the precise details we needed. It gave us all the power, flexibility and autonomy we …
We use multiple integration platforms for various use cases. Workato did not replace anything. We believe in having the best tool for the job/persona and thus employ multiple tools with some overlapping functionality aside from the unique strengths/trade-offs of each.
From what I could see, Zapier was very limited against what Workato was offering. The model of Zapier, at first sight, was very easy to understand: you pick 2 connectors and create a process in the middle, but that's where Workato made the difference, on how easy the recipe …
Workato is much simpler to learn and configure than Dell Boomi. While powerful, I struggled with Boomi's interface. I know Boomi is powerful and trusted by many enterprises, but it seems a little inaccessible to me - the learning curve is a little too steep and I don't have the …
Power Automate is great if you live exclusively in the Microsoft Dataverse. However, we have lots of apps that aren't fully represented - that's where Zapier shines. It has such great reach to so many other apps. Zapier is my go-to automation solution.
Zapier is excellent when working with those tools because even though they have automation capabilities, they lack a lot of connection with different apps.
I personally chose it for the wide variety of integrations it has. I can connect to any app I need to use. Also, they are always adding new ones. The ease of use is an important factor for me and its simple and fast interface. For the use that I give it, it seems to me that the …
Zapier is pretty much easier to use unlike other paid CRM tools available in the market. Its intuitive user interface and free trial make it easier to switch to it. Its free plan of 100 tasks per month also helps small businesses who can't afford to buy high-price tools.
In case of IFTTT at the very begining you could use any of them to solve the same problem but with the time IFTTT became more hardware automation and Zapier more software services automation so eventually I end up moving 100% to Zapier and I still think IFTTT has its own use …
We actually utilize both Integromat and Zapier at our company, for all the reasons detailed in this review. Though Zapier is excellent for simple client integrations, we often run into internal use cases that require complexity that Zapier cannot provide. Specifically working …
Similar--free and paid accounts, both suitable for small businesses and sole proprietors. Similar apps also allow you to set up workflows so when a specific action is taken, a followup action is then taken. Works wonderfully and really helps save time on a day-to-day basis. It …
Zapier is the best option for users with no coding experience, it has a very simple and welcoming interface that leads you directly to your goal. Also, there are useful articles and forums that help you navigate through the system. Also, there is great customer service in case …
I’ve used the free version of Hootsuite. I think this program is a more robust program once you pay for its features. Zapier is still better as a free version. So if you are looking to round out your digital presence with little investment go with Zapier. If you’re trying to …
I have only tried IFTTT several years ago and at that time Zapier had a much wider range of integrations available. I’m not aware of there are any competitors that are at the same level.
We started out very quickly with Zapier, and it worked very well for us an organization, and have simply scaled on that specific platform. While we have used and tested some others, we decided at the end to stay with Zapier due to the extent of adoption across the …
IFTTT is much more open and extensible but doesn't come with nearly the amount of pre-baked integrations and pre-built workflows that Zapier does. When we first used Zapier years ago, IFTTT was more of a hobbyist/tinkerer platform and not primarily aimed at the enterprise …
In our case to have a such a poweful middleware in the cloud, give us a lot of benefits such as maintenance and support. In the integration part to be able to connect SAP and Non SAP applications makes SAP Integration Suite a good investment when our master data in this case is in S4HANA. Less appropriate is that sometimes the updates in production tenant failed and they have to downgrade or repair the issues. Affecting the usage of the tool. I guess SAP team have to be more aware of performing the changes and tested well on development environments and then when they know for sure that is the correct way to go with the update put it in production.
Business Process Work Flows, File Management, Small/Medium # of Records Queried (<~1000)
Closing a sales deal in system one kicks off work flows in system two for implementation
Notification of key events in system one via text, outlook event, etc
While I note management of two-way integrations needs improvement, it is a strength of Workato and easier to set up here than in any other tool.
Support for connectors business processes require (Docusign, Dropbox, Outlook, Quick Base, Salesforce, etc)
Needs Improvement -
Management of two-way integrations. It's often a bit of a struggle to create the appropriate fields in both systems to ensure redundant jobs are not run nor infinite loops created. That said, Workato does provide some documentation to counter this.
If you have processes that are now managed and controlled using a spreadsheet, Zapier will give you a lot more control over what is happening and will help you increase productivity by eliminating simple steps such as sending emails and sharing information with your colleagues. It frees time for very transactional activities.
Workato is very easy to pick up and use. You'll be creating complex recipes within days. The UI, workflow, formulas, and other features are very intuitive.
Workato is very powerful. The native connectors it has to hundreds of software already, allows users to make substantial automation and integrations, but the HTTP connector makes it seem like it has no boundaries. If you are using software that isn't a native Workato connector but it has an API, you can use their HTTP connector to make calls to and from.
Workato is always making improvements to its platform. This includes adding more connectors, more features, updating current connectors to be more powerful, or expanding on other tools it offers.
Ease of use - multiple people in the organization can set up and run Zaps per their specific use cases without much training.
Connectivity - Zapier is able to connect to multiple applications we use on a regular basis.
Functionality - Zapier provides embedded functionality within the app itself (email, data conversion), but also appropriate triggers and actions for apps it connects to.
Versatile - Zapier can execute complicated and simple tasks and thus has many use cases.
Customization has a bit of a learning curve associated with it. Be prepared to expand your programming knowledge for any deep customization, however having the option to customize is critical
Online training material is out there, but can be a bit cumbersome to read through and retain. More straight-forward online training material would help 10 fold
SAP Integration Suite is very helpful to us in many ways to manage purchase procedures, stocks, and data of vendors and suppliers. Also, it helps to manage data for service providers. SAP Integration Suite has the tool to conduct training and evaluation. Unique features like the cloud can provide access from any place and by any device is very helpful.
The user interface is messy and not intuitive. It has a steep learning curve, and flows developed around are easy to make a mess with layout and can be difficult to follow. The debugging is also quite difficult, it takes some time to figure out how to follow the flow and examine data. Error handling is also difficult and not intuitive, it is better to let some errors leak and monitor through ALM.
The sheer work Workato eliminates from people's daily jobs is simply a great contribution to people's productivity and a boost to capability. It actually strikes the balance between business and tech teams. It also reduces dependency on developers, and speeds up their delivery too. The only reason it's not a full 10/10 is for the price - it's a bit expensive for what we'd like, and their batch or high data volume processing can be improved.
The interface is very user-friendly, and there are also many tools to help a brand-new user get started. For example, you can put your Zap idea into the AI bot, and it will basically build a shell of your Zap to get started on. The format for each step within a Zap is also very helpful (set up the connection/app, set up the fields/details, then test).
The support for SAP Integration Suite is satisfactory. We leverage SAP support through our manage services partner. So far, we have not had many major issues. One concern, to make our rating a ten, would be turnaround time on high priority incidents. SAP Integration Suite drives our key business functions forward. Without a reasonable service level agreement on turnaround, we sometimes find us running into issues running pay, etc.
They employ an extremely knowledgeable team of problem solvers. I've never had a disappointing interaction or one that has left me still searching for answers. I know that when I ask for help, they'll partner with me until we find a solution together
Before we purchased Zapier, I contacted support and asked them if Zapier could support my intended workflow (this is actually a selection on their support form - awesome). Within 2 hours, I was contacted by a support team member who seemed sure it would work, but granted me premium access for 2 weeks to try it out for myself. Sure enough, it did! Ever since then, support has replied rapidly to any problems I have experienced and answered my questions within a few sentences.
We discovered that we could not use Workato for our more complex, large enterprise integrations. It was useful for simple workflows that matched the prebuilt recipes.
Having lots of applications on SAP ecosystems, SAP Integration Suite is the best choice. This comes along with many pre-delivered open connectors, also allows us to develop our own connectors. Event triggers batch processing, credential store and cloud ALM connections helped a lot for plug and play of end to end solutioning.
We found Workato to be easier to use, more powerful and more robust than other solutions we tested at the time. It simply does the trick and allowed us to implement all that we needed in all the precise details we needed. It gave us all the power, flexibility and autonomy we needed without bogging us down with unjustified complexity. Workato came through for us and that's why we keep using it after three intense years.
We actually utilize both Integromat and Zapier at our company, for all the reasons detailed in this review. Though Zapier is excellent for simple client integrations, we often run into internal use cases that require complexity that Zapier cannot provide. Specifically working with API calls (not just webhooks), complex multi-step integrations with Routing/parsing/etc, and large volume integrations. Integromat is perfect for these use cases, but doesn’t provide the simplicity and account scalability that Zapier offers.
Workato is an unusual type of software in that it’s very much middle-wear, which means it’s extra important for stake holders in your company (especially those who won’t be interacting with Workato on a daily basis) to see the ROI that Workato can provide. Typically ROI is in developer time, as well as replacements for other SaaS tools. For our team, we move 2X as fast and need 1/2 the developers, so the ROI is just incredible.
