The simple answer is yes - all of the organizations I manage that use Bitdefender has benefitted from Bitdefender's multiple layers of protection. Since implementing Bitdefender not a single computer or organization has experienced any form of malware outbreak, and if a piece of malware does get installed on a machine it is immediately blocked and quarantined. Bitdefender's use of machine learning allows it to detect zero-day exploits and viruses that have yet to be identified. Finally, ransomware protection monitors the entire filesystem for any encryption process and will stop it in its tracks before any major damage can be done.
Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why
Since changing over all internal users and clients to Bitdefender, we have had no major outbreaks. You would think with the added layers, the performance of the computer would be hindered, this is not the case. Bitdefender works and works well.
The centralized management solution allows us to see the status of various endpoints, allowing us to monitor and remediate issues as they come up.
These multiple protection layers have stopped outbreaks before they can get going. Very few false positives. We have had possible malware outbreaks that Bitdefender [GravityZone] stopped before they had a chance to cause a widespread infection. I don't know what kind of magic Bitdefender [GravityZone] uses under the hood, but they need to keep it up!
Delving further into these advanced features is on our roadmap but we have not gotten that far into any of them yet.
Bitdefender has multiple layers of protection that give us the warm and fuzzies knowing that both our internal staff and all of our customers are protected from threats. We have seen very few false positives and have had zero complaints from customers about system resources being consumed by Bitdefender. Whatever magic is happening on the backend, is just that, magic.
Bitdefender GravityZone offers multiple layers of protection, which helps us sleep better at night knowing that our clients are protected and have very little risk of a widespread infection. Bitdefender GravityZone catches and stops anything thrown at it. If only the human element could be this efficient.
ERD sensor has been very beneficial and saved us from threats. Also having the capability to look at the hierarchy of the process and trace back allows quick remediation.
I believe that Bitdefender is one of the leading software companies currently and I am for sure like the software as it is doing exactly what I need it to do for our company.
We have benefited from this because Bitdefender is monitoring the endpoints and in the event of an infection or malicious activity, will be able to detect and prevent it from spreading before it becoming widespread. These layers are unparalleled in the industry of AV. Bitdefender is becoming more of a security solution than just an AV. AV only products are one part of a multilayered solution which is identified here.
We really have [not] set up much of the machine learning as of yet, but it is on the book so to speak and we will have everything set up and running smoothly within a month or so.
We use all protection layers including the offloading to the scan server. In todays cyber security threat landscape, layered security has become the status quo. The lowest hanging fruit is the most likely to get infected. So having layers to avoid the latest threats is essential.
I must assume that it is doing what is supposed to as evidenced by zero positive outcomes.
We have benefited from the high-end security components since we can now rely on Bitdefender GravityZone to manage this for us.
Bitdefender is one layer of our security process. It's by no means the only layer (and shouldn't be the only layer). We also include separate hardware firewall, DNS filtering, appropriate group policy, etc. Having several layers within Bitdefender itself, though, is nice to piece of mind if the other higher layers miss something.
A multilayered approach to data and device security is key and Bitdefender GravityZone does this well. We have not had any issues with the software or any security concerns so I would say that it is doing the job it is supposed to be doing. We have benefited by being properly protected.
We do not analyze all the underlying processes and features. Bitdefender does a good job protecting the computers. We rarely have any issues with malware. So we benefit from no support calls. Bitdefender is doing its job.
The combination of these protections helps in the process of detection of infection and its correction. We used to validate the inputs and outputs of each piece of equipment, by port, web, and devices.
We have benefited from these protection layers greatly. I love that we can tell our customers that they are going to be protected when we are selling this product.
The layered approach to security allows us to ensure our customers are completely covered rather than just from malware.
Other than the obvious I'm not sure what else to add other than it might be a little overzealous at possible infectious files. However, I would rather have it be overzealous than letting something through.
Not too sure how we would use machine learning—I haven't really seen that on my side. Interested in learning that and how it works and support.
As a company we have had 0 outbreaks to our customers. It has a very high block rate which I really enjoy
In our experience, Bitdefender GravityZone has detected and resolved all malware threats that have targeted our protected devices. We have yet to come across an instance of a threat that has gotten passed Bitdefender's layers of protection.
Yes, I find the multiple layers help protect from a variety of threats. Ransomware, malware, and viruses have all been detected and blocked or deleted.
Bitdefender GravityZone combines multiple security services into a single platform to reduce the cost of building a trusted environment for endpoints.
