What is NetCrunch?

NetCrunch is an agentless network monitoring software developed by AdRem Software, capable of monitoring devices, systems, or applications within computer networks. NetCrunch empowers businesses of all sizes to remotely track and visualize performance of both IT network, infrastructure and services running on them. including switches, routers, firewalls, UPS, servers, web sites, logs as well as bandwidth utilization and traffic flow. The solution supports OS types such as Linux, Windows, VMWare ESX/ESXi, Mac OS X, and BSD.

AdRem NetCrunch provides a diversity of network troubleshooting features, including Windows diagnostic tools, secure remote access, IP address monitoring, status reports, and a range of remote remediation or control actions that can be executed by NetCrunch in response to specific alert, to speed up problem resolution before even a human is involved. Rule based alerts, alert escalation scrips and monitoring dependencies combine into advanced alert management that speeds up troubleshooting.

NetCrunch can be used to visualize network topology, create various auto-updating network maps, performance charts, live dashboards and graphical views. It can also display status of any monitored device, connection link, system, service, metric, threshold, or alert and present them in automated screens in the NOC.
