Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
Hands down, ClickUp is the most user-friendly, low-bar-to-entry project and workflow management software on the market. I'm a PMP and LOVE the versatility with which this allows us to move through an agile environment. I get the reporting and functionality I need, and so does everyone else, regardless of skillset, experience, or preferred working style. It's versatile and gets the job done!
- Project management.
- Client management and relations.
- Contractor management.
- Documents.
- Assets cannot be backed up—impossible to exports files and documents.
- Could use more agile reporting functions.
- Improved project and task communications.
- Greater visibility for clients—they no longer question what we're doing.
- It's given us the ability to bring in more contractors because we know where our money is going!
We actually know what one another is doing now. It has helped us stay on mission, finish work on time, and delegate and share the workload across individuals and teams. Further, the sprint functionality has led to much more positive client interactions because they are able to see everything in the backlog and we talk through each sprint plan with them so they know what to expect and we deliver on it.
We didn't really have a process before ClickUp, but it HAS saved us a lot of time when it comes to back-and-forth communication in email. Integrating email into ClickUp has been MONEY, so we know exactly what someone is talking about without having to go and search for it—it's right there!
I still use Evernote for my personal notes, but ClickUp is the only productivity tool in our shared tech stack. ClickUp is not a replacement, however, for Miro or Google Docs (or Notion). It seems like these features were added to ClickUp with little to no thought other than "let's say that we off this, too, to try and get more customers."
