Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Connect
We use GoTo Connect for our main phone system for all of our office locations. It is easy to keep all main line and extensions organized in the admin portal. Some users prefer desktop phones while some use the softphone or mobile app option. The various offices lines route to a central operator and voicemail is distributed by email, which is very convenient.

Cons
- The admin portal is powerful but easy to get lost in the multitude of options
- I cannot easily find my contract or which devices are still being rented
- Some pay features are auto included and not so obvious to find where to disable them
- We consolidated all phone services and cancelled local providers that were hard to administer
- By consolidating to GoTo, our overall cost is less than keeping many local phone providers
- GoTo makes it possible to control all phones, phone numbers, and users from one place
We are very happy with the phone system, the call quality, the GoTo admin portal, the ability to port in phone numbers, the ease of use to control the system, and the excellent call in support. We have not used the meeting features at all since Microsoft Teams is integrated with our office environment.
GoTo admin portal is much easier to navigate than the Verizon portal.

2 - Tech Manager and administrative assistant. Someone needs to own the updates of the system information when people onboard or offboard.

We used GoTo to get rid of all of our copper lines that were hard to maintain since they are spread out across multiple locations.

- We easily manage voicemails centrally
- We offer the soft phone to people with bad reception in their office
- We can add a line at any remote office or project if needed
One easy to use, central system, with great customer support. We like use a combination of desktop phones and soft phones.
They have more product choices than we need, we just picked the reliable phone service.
Evaluating GoTo Connect and Competitors
Understand all of the add on services, make better option selections, and understand the 3 year service term. Our 3rd party broker did not explain all that.
GoTo Connect Implementation

Yes - Initially we had about 30 lines, then we added 6 more in a separate contract.
Change management was minimal
- Getting someone to own the changes when someone onboards or leaves
- Learning curve for setting up the first line, then it was easier
- Porting was needed but made fairly easy with GoTo
Configuring GoTo Connect
Carve out some time and call the customer support. They are always willing to give you a lot of time if needed, and walk you through the process. Once they helped me, I was more comfortable to continue with more setup.

I am not sure which support we have, but it is good.
They have stayed on the line for very long calls with me, while I set up multiple users and features. They were very patient.
