The payroll custom report section is sometimes cumbersome for the output I desire. It is not inuitive. Otherwise, the system is great.
Paycor is well-suited for companies wanting an easy payroll user experience. Companies desiring an easy custom reporting process may want to dig deeper into system ability before signing-on.

We are a church and have specific tax regulations that apply to clergy. We needed a company that had prior experience with churches.
I wouldn't change anything.
It would be helpful to the client to have better direct access to the Paycor department that handles GL mapping.

Change management was a big part of the implementation and was well-handled
- GL mapping was difficult. Paycor team and in-house team experienced difficulty understanding/implementing the required 'output'.
- Online training
The training was easy to understand, and the Paycor tutorials are a great, easy reference.
Training and change management are key.
The quality of Paycor support is great. The response delays have been frustrating, but probably unavoidable due to the pandemic and national staffing shortages.

Slow Initial Response
We did not feel a need to do so. Covid and staffing shortages have affected all industries, including payroll processing. I attribute the delays in Paycor response to these factors. In recent months, I have noticed faster service response times. The staff have always been knowledgeable.
Paycor provided exceptional service when I was developing different types of tiered PTO accrual.
