Yes

Did ScienceLogic SL1 live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of ScienceLogic SL1 go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy ScienceLogic SL1 again?

Yes

Yes - UIM & Zenos. Cost & Support services were key areas that resulted in moving from our current products.
ScienceLogic SL1 not only provides visibility internally but also helps customers understand what their environment looks like today and helps them evaluate for future demands/requirements that the business will need--to start thinking in a proactive way rather than reactive.
We are using ScienceLogic SL1 for existing customers, new customers, and also are moving forward to enhance our essential services to clients looking for oversight from a monitoring standpoint. SL1 now will be used across our Managed Services and we are in the planning stage to use it company-wide.
We are still at the very beginning stage of using ScienceLogic SL1. We are just now setting our focus to look at enhancement and incorporate automated workflows. Outside of a few basic runbook automations, we are not doing a whole lot.
  • Dashboards for customers
  • Adoption
  • CMDB output
  • Overall cost (positive)
  • Adoption across teams (positive)
  • Expanding architecture and stacks
We liked the roadmap and growth that ScienceLogic SL1 had aligned. Functions and features from our previous product were pretty well aligned, but the cost was a huge impact on decision.
Deployment makes it easier for us. Our industry requires constant movement with adds and removes. ScienceLogic SL1, compared to previous products, makes it easier. Deployment is less appropriate in a large Windows environment.

ScienceLogic SL1 Support

Portal/Email responses are my main concerns. Let’s pickup a phone call and start working. We open case because we have exhausted our internal resources and definitely requires your attention. At this time; support should try and get a phone call going with client rather going through multiple portal case updates.
ProsCons
Problems get solved
No escalation required
Slow Resolution
Not kept informed
Difficult to get immediate help
Support doesn't seem to care
Yes. We are MSP and needs immediate attention during client SLA failures to monitor.
