We use Ultipro as a multi-state Payroll and global HRIS solution.

We have gone almost 100% paperless since implementing Onboarding. We have also been able to schedule many data feeds and reports to allow for an automated approach.
We have used both ADP and Ultipro. Ultipro is definitely the superior product.
They are very good at maintaining performance and handling issues immediately if they arise.
We have a dedicated account manager, who knows our setup, which means we don’t have to start from scratch every issue. We have monthly calls with their supervisor, the customer success manager, to review any items that need follow up or escalation. Also if your account manager is not available and the issue is urgent there is a rapid response line, which definitely can be hit or miss, but they usually get the job done. You also have an Executive Relationship Manager, who is more on the strategic side, but someone you can also lean on for escalation

Ultipro does a great job usually, but the transition from an Ultimate Software Consultant to a Sability Consultant was a little rough. It felt like we started over half way into the project.

I would try to aim for a 1/1 implementation with a 12 month lead time.
Yes - we have customized the interface extensively - Before platform configuration, we completed a lot of customs, most of which are no longer necessary - which is great.
