Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

We use UltiPro for all modules except timekeeping and will be rolling out the compensation piece next year. We are using it as an organization for all departments and that includes employee and manager self service, recruiting, onboarding, and performance management. Using UltiPro has eliminated a lot of manual processes and streamlined information and we will continue to build on it as time goes on.
  • Onboarding has all the new hire forms set up electronically which makes it really easy for new hires to use. There is also e-verify built into the interface.
  • BI is incredible and there are so many options for reports and automated notifications - the possibilities are endless!
  • You can customize pages to have information appear how you would like it - hide fields, move fields, add fields and have them appear to employees or managers, etc.
  • Would like to see more functionality with recruiting.
  • Would like to see more improvements with notifications in Core to be able to customize for workflow or performance reasons.

Would like to eliminate manual forms and notifications - use UltiPro to generate notices to employees and departments


Used ADP and was not too content with the services.
It is well suited for any size company that wants to streamline processes and improve the accessibility to its employees. It can be a one stop show for all things related to HR and payroll.

UltiPro Implementation

It is a lot of work but worth it.
Change management was a big part of the implementation and was well-handled - That you need to have your processes mapped out before starting implementation.

UltiPro Training

It took some time to get used to the system, but the real benefit is that the training can be taken more than once so taking it when it made more sense was helpful.

Configuring UltiPro

It is very complex but the possibilities seem pretty endless which is very inspiring
Getting your processes all mapped out and confirmed prior to implementation will help a lot
Some - we have done small customizations to the interface - It took some time to understand but now that the information is understood it is easier - platform config and reporting related items
No - we have not done any custom code

Yes - Yes some things have come up but they have been resolved.
We have had many BI specialists go above and beyond assisting us with what we needed. One shared a report with me that they had created, another made time to go through my report I created to assist me in updating it.

Yes - It works very well, it is still new but is very cool

UltiPro Reliability

UltiPro seems to have many options we have not accessed yet. We do not use it for global reasons but the system at its core works great for our business
We have run into system issues unfortunately but overall the system has been reliable
We have some browser issues at times, but the system overall is very responsive and loads pretty fast
