Overall Satisfaction with Wrike
Wrike is used across our whole organization. We use it to track our client work, keep track of internal documents, and for HR practices. We also utilize the time tracking feature for contractors. Our motto is "everything in Wrike" and this ensures we will be able to track everything we need to keep our business running.
Pros
- Dashboards are helpful in reviewing the statuses of certain tasks.
- Using Zapier connections helps us to customize our Wrike experience to the needs of our business.
- Task dependencies are very easy to create and help push projects along.
Cons
- The desktop app can crash a lot sometimes causing notifications not to work properly.
- New feature rollouts could be announced more frequently. Usually I will log in and find something has changed and won't have known there was going to be an update.
- I wish there was a way to share comments from one task to the way you can quote a comment from a user within the same task.
- We have been able to track how long each task takes per resource, so we are able to scope work properly.
- It has allowed us to track delays and put projects back on track by rescheduling dependencies.
- It allows the whole team to collaborate and stay in the loop with communication in Wrike.

Wrike Feature Ratings
Using Wrike
31 - A majority represent marketing and a few of the users are collaborators/ contractors that we use to support our marketing efforts. The specific business functions are CRM, paid media, SEO, copywriting, analytics, and DXO. All of these business functions are used to support our client work. We do also use Wrike for our internal HR purposes to keep track of time off and internal educational opportunities for coworkers.
3 - One of the most important skills we need to support are development skills. We have a developer that helps to integrate Wrike add-ins like workato so we could have customized project status automations. He has also helped integrate slack notifications as well. We also need people with operations/organizational skills. Our dedicated operations person organizes Wrike’s folder structure and ensures tasks/projects are placed in the proper places. We have two people in our organizations making sure this happens. These people also communicate with our Wrike account manager on a monthly basis.
- Project management
- Time tracking
- Project scoping
- We have automations to move a task on to the next when the one prior is completed.
- Workload management when we can set this feature up
