Overall Satisfaction with Wrike
Wrike is used across our whole organization. It allows us to have a single platform that centralizes and streamlines not just projects, but repeatable work, too. Wrike has a clean and simple UI with a nice balance of synchronous and asynchronous communication features. The flexibility to use the tool for either project management or collaborative work management is great.
Pros
- synchronous and asynchronous communication features
- simple reporting and dashboarding functions
- flexible and customizable workflows
- powerful automation features
Cons
- Licensing levels are difficult to right-size
- request forms do not allow for rich-text
- Lack of organization features for request forms (i.e. folders to organize them into)
- visibility into shared work
- flexible dashboards and reporting
- Proofing module
- automation rules
- request forms
- organizing work into a more visible place
- breaking down siloes of information between teams
- right-sizing the amount of structure we use from the platform to meet our current level of organizational maturity
We use automation rules to keep the right people in the loop. The AI subtask creation tool is super helpful in distilling a page full of notes down into a handful of actionable subtasks.
Wrike has more features than most of the competitors we evaluated, and is a much more flexible tool in terms of being able to mold to any use case. The UI of Wrike is clean and easy to look at and navigate, and it allows each team and each user to customize their experience and visual load.

Using Wrike
150 - Our Wrike user base includes all members of the PMO, our operations, IT, creative, and marketing teams. We have project managers running projects, and other staff receive work through request forms that collect standardized details for requests to their teams. Some teams even use blueprints and recurring tasks to manage their repeatable process functions.
2 - We have two in-house admins - both of us are project managers who heavily rely on Wrike for our "real" jobs running strategic projects and organizing our teams. We each have completed Wrike Certified Professional training and certifications, and meet regularly with our Customer Success Manager to learn new tips and tricks and hear about the roadmap for features.
