Considered Multiple Products
Braze
Chose Braze
Braze handles real-time events and real-time sending incredibly well - in a way that is much more transparent and clear compared to HubSpot.
Chose Braze
HubSpot CRM and SAP Marketing Cloud
Chose Braze
Cannot compare, really. Salesforce Agentforce Marketing (or Salesforce Marketing Cloud as it was known for a long time) is stuck in the 2000s. Yes, they may have added a few features, but it's simply not fit for purpose for a CRM function that wants to do proper CRM and build a …
Chose Braze
Iterable couldn't get their costs to match Braze, despite expressing serious confidence that they would. Mailchimp has nowhere near the level of automation or targeting complexity.
Chose Braze
Braze is way more user friendly and simpler interface
Chose Braze
Roughly the same as Marketo wrt to ease of use, functionality. Marketo was a bit more flexible in segmentation logic which helped the HEMS business.

Salesforce was the weakest of the three - an old email platform bolted onto a newer messaging platform. Some functionality …
Chose Braze
Braze has its own strengths and weaknesses compared to Bloomreach and Hubspot. Personally I prefer Bloomreach for lifecycle journey and orchestration however I've felt integration and scaling to be more straightforward with Braze. Other platforms have been reviewed but for …
Chose Braze
I am not a CRM, mobile-CRM, or lifecycle marketing technology expert.

Braze is distinct from the other tools I have used due to the SDK integration and feature set specifically suited for mobile app product-led companies like mine.
Chose Braze
Braze offers stronger tutorials and more flexible personalization and targeting options compared to other platforms I’ve used. While other tools included some of the same features, they were harder to learn because of limited tutorials or confusing UX/UI. Many of them also used …
Chose Braze
Over time, I realize that I need a platform that gives me the benefit of each platform all in one without having to switch for each benefit and that's why I went with Braze.
Chose Braze
Braze allows for a better ROI on emails sent and a better package of capabilities than what we were using with Mailchimp
Chose Braze
Braze is a cross-channel and data-driven tool. It is much more intuitive and easier to use. It supports a high volume of sending. Braze team provides excellent follow-up and support, and we are part of a large community of clients who share knowledge and help.
Chose Braze
Braze is a more comprehensive product with more integrated features.
Chose Braze
Braze is just the best one when it comes to aesthetics and usability, which matter when you're working every day, making complex or even simple changes to highly contextual campaigns for multiple stakeholders. Even without following tutorials, you just get it instantly and …

Chose Braze
blows salesforce out of the water way more user friendly and much easier to learn
Chose Braze
Braze offers increased automation and data integration with better customer support and management than the likes of Saleforce. The features available in Braze far outreach that of Twilio SendGrid, which we used as a basic email comms platform rather than full CEP. eInsight CRM …
Chose Braze
I actually really liked Iterable, but was forced internally to switch platforms due to its inability to handle our volume and its rising costs. Iterable was much easier to use out of the box, and I preferred much of its UI, but ultimately, our business outgrew it. We spent 9 …
Chose Braze
Braze is far superior. Easier to use, more robust, better AI (ML), experimentation capabilities, as well as a good education through Braze Academy.
Chose Braze
We have a worldwide userbase, and the fact that Braze has teams all over the world made us feel reassured that we can tap into their expertise if needed.
Chose Braze
Braze is better for template building.
Chose Braze
Braze definitely requires some extra knowledge about automation and data. It is less intuitive and less user-friendly than Klaviyo, but it is potentially more versatile.
Chose Braze
Usability, efficiency, and reliability are what we looked for….and Braze was the platform that most impressed our leadership and email staff.
Chose Braze
I prefer Braze over MoEngage. I find Braze to be more user friendly and I have an easier time getting all of my information faster.

Chose Iterable
Iterable is superior to Braze when it comes to handling up to 10m users. More than that, Braze scales better, it guarantees on-time deliverability, where Iterable struggles to.
Chose Iterable
My understanding is that Mailchimp has evolved a lot since we moved to Iterable 4 years ago, so any comparison is legacy. Keeping that in mind, Iterable is far more sophisticated, especially the journey builder, personalised STO by user and segmentation.
Chose Iterable
Braze definitely feels it has more integrated capabilities, however that may be our internal set up. E.g. felt we could do more with segmentation. Easier to optimise campaigns for mobile. Easier to switch between front end & back end HTML building.

However I have always …
Chose Iterable
We chose Iterable due to flexibility and channel offerings, as well as the overall price of the tool at the time of signing. Iterable for us felt like the do it all tool for our marketing efforts.
Chose Iterable
Unsure. We've been using Iterable since I've worked here
Chose Iterable
Iterable is by far the platform that gives the best level of support from the csms to the tech calls to the support function in the product. All of these platforms do the same thing essentially but iteraly is the one scaling the fastest and provides the best support.
Chose Iterable
Currently we're seeing much more flexibility with our testing, segmentation and building process compared to previous platforms
Chose Iterable
I have previously used Dotdigital, and the way it compares to Iterable is through the reporting capabilities - Dotdigital reporting is, in my opinion, stronger; it provides real-time dashboards and the chance to generate reports for specific timeframes. I have previously used …
Chose Iterable
Iterable had the most robust personalisation features (handlebars, data catalog, snippets, robust segmentation) and multi-language support. Additionally, security features were higher than those of other alternatives. Close follow-up was Braze, and other platforms were compared …
Chose Iterable
We are still evaluating but the cost of switching has been the primary reason. In the past, other platforms have not had multi-channel messaging but that is no longer the case.
Chose Iterable
As mentioned previously, I was hired to do a migration from ActiveCampaign, and I stayed for 2 years as a power user of Itearble. Since leaving OneVision Resources, I have continued to volunteer my time in a regional user group, which I would not do if the platform, product, …
Chose Iterable

Chose Iterable
Not well. Not my choice. Would prefer Salesforce.
Chose Iterable
Iterable's geolocation paired with catalog items was something Braze and other platforms just couldn't do. Many tried to offer a workaround, but there just wasn't a legitimate solution anywhere else.
Chose Iterable
Iterable was more competitive in pricing, the segmentation technology was extremely advanced and fast in comparison with the competitors we analysed, and deliverability and reliability of the system have been fantastic.
Chose Iterable
Iterable has plug-in capabilities with Movable Ink, in which Movable allows for dynamic content to plug into HTML, text, messages, and utilizes data within Iterable to send dynamic personalized content to customers, great tool in addition to Iterable!

Previously we've used …
Chose Iterable
If you're still using SFMC do yourself a favor and explore some of the newer options available. Iterable is a strong competitor unless you need the B2B and account based marketing/support teams all in a single platform.
Klaviyo is great and best for small-medium size companies …
Chose Iterable
I admittedly don't remember much of Klaviyo, as I have become so familiar with Iterable. I definitely prefer Iterable, however. There are so many more features in Iterable and it just feels like a more dynamic and comprehensive experience with more granular data than Klaviyo …
Chose Iterable
Intercom is not created for marketing purposes and it is quite transparent when you get around to building a campaign with it. It's clunky and often quite frustrating to work with. While Iterable is not perfect, it's a tremendous upgrade. Iterable allows you to have more …
Chose Iterable
Iterable is way more user-friendly, eazy to learn and use, overall much better.
Chose Iterable
We have been on Iterable for about 2 years and in that 2 years have evaluated other platforms, considering doing another migration.

The key reason we have stayed with Iterable is the ease of running (largely automated) omni channel comms with a complex data structure. We have …
Chose Iterable
Iterable has more nuance and allows us to leverage more data.
Oracle Marketing
Chose Oracle Marketing
Eloqua is better than Iterable in many aspects as it has lots of features which Iterable is nowhere even near too. Iterable is just a email marketing platform however Elqoua is a complete marketing automation platform.
Chose Oracle Marketing
There might be some good marketing automation tools in the market but this one is our very initial experience and so far one of our wonderful experiences that we don’t look forward to switching to any other one.
Chose Oracle Marketing
It was quite complex to generate segments with Adobe analytics and I wasn’t personally satisfied with the overall performance of Adobe Analytics and wasn’t enough flexible in any way. So we decided to switch
Chose Oracle Marketing
Can process huge volumes of data really well-facilitated cookie-based interest-based advertising.
Chose Oracle Marketing
There are not a lot of other options out there that are as robust as Oracle CX Marketing. Typically we would have to use at least several companies' software to be able to have similar functionality.
Chose Oracle Marketing
Oracle CX Marketing is strong within the Oracle ecosystem. The company used Eloqua as it had a strong product roadmap in terms of features for the marketing team to leverage day-to-day. The CDP platform that is offered by Eloqua sets it apart from the competition as it really …

The Oracle CX Marketing tool has a few advantages over our previously used solutions. One of the most impactful ones would be the easy-to-use interface - more evidently seen when developing Email Marketing (Emailers) and also when creating steps for Marketing Automation …
Chose Oracle Marketing
I feel they both have strengths and weaknesses, just like any other product on the market. Oracle is strong in the lead scoring and nurturing platform while HubSpot is strong in other ways. Oracle integrates better with CRM software because it plays with most which makes it …
Chose Oracle Marketing
Oracle CX Marketing (formerly Oracle Marketing Cloud)'s Eloqua stacks up fairly well with these other tools, as they all have similar functions and features. Pricing and how seamlessly the platform integrates with a company's CRM are the main deciding factors. The customer …
Chose Oracle Marketing
We have used Adobe Neolane before, but it lacked lot of functionalities compared to Oracle CX Marketing (formerly Oracle Marketing Cloud).
Chose Oracle Marketing
We ultimately selected the Oracle product due to its native web capabilities which, at the time, were not offered by Adobe, which required the download and installation of a desktop application for users to be able to leverage the full capabilities of their solution. We …
Chose Oracle Marketing
We were using Marketo before I became a marketing automation admin. So I am only able to evaluate my experiences with Oracle against my own perceptions of how a marketing automation platform should function.
Chose Oracle Marketing
Oracle is at the bottom of the stack.
Chose Oracle Marketing
Connectivity to other system and ease of use for our internal users.
Chose Oracle Marketing
Oracle Eloqua and HubSpot have their fair share of strengths and weaknesses. HubSpot is cheaper, offers a less harsh contract, updates its documentation on a monthly basis, and implementation time is short. However, HubSpot does not support A/B testing in their Pro tier, and …
Chose Oracle Marketing
We liked the simplicity but were not at the scale yet.
Chose Oracle Marketing
Oracle Eloqua had a more robust feature set. It had all the functions and features we needed to scale and was able to support our high lead volume and processing.
Chose Oracle Marketing
Oracle Eloqua is more user-friendly, and the features are more suited for us as the integration points are richer. We also found Marketo too expensive compared with Eloqua. Marketo's training was not as good as Oracle Eloqua training either. Oracle Eloqua also provides the …
Chose Oracle Marketing
I believe Eloqua stands out because it's a progressive roadmap of development and enhancements that keep up with the industry and trends. The ability to find help and support is great compared to other organizations that I've experienced.
Chose Oracle Marketing
I was able to play around with ChatBot a couple of years ago at OpenWorld and liked the product very much but it just was not a good fit for our department's needs at the time.
Chose Oracle Marketing
Responsys is a platform meant for enterprise level clients. It is best used with a team of specialized roles.
Chose Oracle Marketing
Oracle Responsys is cost effective compared to Adobe Campaign. Java and SQL integration is also very efficient compared to Adobe products and that is the reason we are using Oracle Responsys.

Its really well suited to brands with a mobile app. And from what I can glean from the features my org isn't able to take advantage of, its best suited for: - B2C brands that use social media - ecommerce (i.e. CPG) Otherwise, I am not convinced it is the tool I would recommend for users that do not have a mobile app. You're not getting most of the value from it.

Iterable is great for delivering your email marketing activity. We've not yet added other channels (although may do soon), but others report that the cross-channel capability is strong. Iterable manages to find the sophistication to enable our ambitions, yet remain user friendly and manageable. We're on a journey from relying heavily on old-fashioned blast emails to automated CRM. Iterable has been a fantastic tool to help us along the way. I particularly enjoy the journey builder that we trigger in multiple ways, from custom events, to list schedules, and user actions.

A duration of one and a half years is enough for us to
recognize the capabilities of a tool and in my opinion, this one is just a
great tool to manage marketing campaigns of even massive-sized firms. Its
marketing automation tool and its way of managing campaign and the way it
executes digital initiatives is enough to get an inkling of its abilities.
Less favorable for the people who want to have something at
a cheap price and are more dependent on the reports as its reports have nothing
much in detail.

Pros
  • Well looked after - Braze itself are always on hand to answer any questions and help us make our work better.
  • Great tool - We use a fair bit of Braze but there
  • are so many exciting features we're slowly incorporating, Braze is always building on what they have and this keeps us top of our game.
  • Fantastic learning - I have advanced quickly in my work in Braze due to their support and learning programs. This has been key for me.

  • It is easy to onboard new users with building communications. The drag and drop editor is very intuitive to use.
  • Allows for complex data structures on user profiles and in events. This is a key reason we onboarded to Iterable and have stayed with it.

  • We can look for the behavior of our clients on our website and mobile application using the analytics it provides.
  • It is highly customizable.
  • It presents data in a form that is easily understandable and reports are highly beneficial for us.
  • Analytics in the form of graphs.

Cons
  • Enabling GIF/videos to be directly uploaded on to Braze's platform
  • Easier way of creating canvases; right now it is too complex for someone new who is starting off in the company to understand what things do and where things are
  • Ability to track duplicate user profiles within the entire audience segment
  • Automated deduplicating email addresses/phone numbers in each targeting segment; right now it's done manually after extracting csv files

  • Locale management: being able to copy and past a template section/row/content from a locale to another. Also, be able to duplicate any locale to any locale. So far we can just duplicate the default locale into the rest of the locales
  • Outages - I feel in the last 1 and half, more outages are happening, impacting their clients
  • Image library

  • User Interface - The UI is a bit outdated and clunky, but gets the job done with some getting used to.
  • Training - There isn't much out there for training, unless you are willing to pay Oracle or a 3rd party.
  • Support - There is no dedicated support and you have to use their portal. It sometimes take awhile to get things looked at or fixed, but they eventually get to it.

We have been able to automate so many marketing processes with Eloqua over the past 5 years that the only direction would be to adopt the latest and greatest features Eloqua adds. The alternative would be to go back to the marketing stone-age and start over again. And we would rather move forward with increased automation and efficiency.

Usability
It is an easy-to-understand platform, thanks to its design and accessibility. You can, for example, easily find any users and their data, check exact volumes of segments, follow the history of messages sent, and create reports. We can connect Braze with other platforms for analysis or email design (Snowflake, Hightouch, Stripo...).

Iterable is super easy to use. I have experience with competing platforms, but Iterable is by far the most intuitive platform to use. I also really appreciate the way the product team is willing to accept product requests

Personally, I find it quite easy to use. But for those members of our team who have little or no testing experience, it's been a bit more difficult. There's also training required for development teams in order to have your campaigns coded and set up in the most efficient way. Our developers have been able to do basic and intermediate tests with no difficulty, and they find the interface itself quite intuitive... it's just the extremely complex tests that require a bit more understanding.

Reliability and Availability

Iterable is there like 99.9% of the time. However, when it goes down, it grinds us to a halt. Most of the time, outages are an hour or less, but if that's at a peak time, it can be a nightmare. That said, when the worst does happen, there are frequent updates and an easy situation tracker that give you an estimate of how much longer you'll have to wait for the issue to be resolved.

The API is super quick. The UI can be a little sluggish depending on what you're loading, but overall Iterable performs great. Iterable appears to do a good job of making processes async so that one action isn't blocking another.

There are occasional complaints about slowness to refresh a screen or build a report. However, this is as much a factor of network access speeds as the system itself, since often the complaints occur when someone is accessing on a wireless network.

Support Rating
Very responsive and helpful on simple questions, but not great other than that. They do not have a way for the customer/user to escalate a ticket. You have to contact your rep and in some cases, they don't respond within 24 hours so you have no idea if they have escalated it. There is no phone number for an urgent issue - you have to rely on email

I've never experienced any issues with Iterable. As I and my colleagues have learnt the system and it's features, response to questions and advice from our account manager is always quick. Kevin knows the product well, and with the few tricky questions has hasn't been able to answer he's been quick to get back to us.

I would actually rate day to day support a 1. We often knew more than the person on the phone.

I would however rate escalation support a 7. When we went to “red status”, support was very good. We were assigned a technical resource who performed a full audit. Unfortunately the integration to Salesforce.com still failed

They offer very basic classes which are required for master certification.

After having been through it, I would not consider anyone with a master certification any more qualified, unlike Salesforce.com certification which is a more difficult thing to acquire. For example, one of the classes towards certification was around social media. I would have expected examples of how to incorporate into campaigns in the product, with a demo and hands-on test. Instead, it was a powerpoint slideshow that went on way too long and covered really basic stuff like “what is Facebook, what is Twitter”

Ok, so, this sounds like it could be horrible because it was all remote, but we loved it... the Adobe training environment was easy to use, and the trainers were engaging. It was simple to switch back and forth between the meeting and the hands-on exercises in their training instances. We took the fundamentals training early in our implementation-- before the consultants came onsite-- and I know this made a big difference in our implementation, because we were able to ask informed questions throughout

I give it a 10 because the only issue we had was a result of not following the guidance we were given. On our site implementations when we followed that guide to the letter, it was extremely fast and easy and has worked very well.

Braze has its own strengths and weaknesses compared to Bloomreach and Hubspot. Mailchimp's transactional solution, mandrill, was our previous provider, but we needed the Developer team's assistance in all our campaigns. It was quite complex to generate segments with Adobe
analytics and I wasn’t personally satisfied with the overall performance of
Adobe Analytics and wasn’t enough flexible in any way. So we decided to switch
to something else better than Adobe Analytics and is available in the market at

We've definitely tested scalability, and it's no line - it works. The process is pretty easy. Most of the times it goes off without a hitch. Any time we do encounter issues, our support team is quick to get on the job and very communicative as they work us through a successful launch.

Eloqua is definitely good for larger companies that have 100,000+ contacts and complex marketing workflows and data. Personalization is fairly robust with Eloqua for larger campaigns with smart content and features. Scaling across channels is also seamless - as the platform has great options for non-email channels like SMS, Direct Mail, Chat, etc.
