Discord
Chose Discord
The vast array of free features on Discord right out of the box makes it a stand-out in pricing from other chat platform options. Discord works phenomenally if you want a chat platform that is free, quick to set up, and very flexible in the ways you can start using it. It …
Chose Discord
Slack`s free version doesnt save the conversations history, there is no voice channels, it doesnt bring people together with all the incentives for interaction like Discord have.
Chose Discord
For small businesses, Discord by far works the same with less limitations compared to Slack. I understand Slack is built for enterprise-level companies, but for small businesses, Discord works better than Slack and Telegram.
Telegram didn't really allow for specific …
Chose Discord
The organization of groups and channels are better on Discord than Slack although the later is widely used in the tech circuit while the former is use in the gaming community. Maybe for that fact the online features are better on Discord making it better suited for coding. Not …
Chose Discord
Not great, I would say overall the Teams suite has been very integrated into email, calendar, etc. Slack is about the same as Discord except I found it easier to access via my mobile phone. Now with teams on my mobile that is integrated into our whole organization I can simply …
Chose Discord
Discord is generally very simple and easy to get started using, but still offers a great deal of customization and features. Furthermore, third party features and plentiful and well supported. On top of that, the amount of usability you get for the price is absolutely …
Chose Discord
It is similar to Zoho Cliq, but cliq has less options. Discord just seems more put together and fully flushed out software.
Chose Discord
Approachable - easy to log in, either through email or through the use of their QR Code system through your mobile device

Video is seamless
Chose Discord
We used to use Telegram which is great for discussions and one to many communications but it doesn't have the ability to segregate different topics unless you start a brand new channel. Unfortunately it is then very difficult to keep those topics under the same umbrella to …
Chose Discord
I like Slack for more professional settings, but Discord is excellent for casual groups, especially when a few people do not have iPhones. They're very similar, but I think there are a lot of Discord features I don't take advantage of, mainly because there seems to be so much …
Chose Discord
Honestly, I would use Slack and Skype over Discord anyway because they are faster, easier to use, and easier to find conversations. Discord is great at times but, in our experience, having it continuously buffering and taking forever to load really slows down our team. However, …
Chose Discord
Discord has better features and it gets updated constantly with new features. It gets popular everyday and the number of people using Discord gets increased. Discord has a better interface that is easy to use, it doesn't make you confused. Better voice and video quality. The …
Chose Discord
Discord is better when addressing many people at once. I like how you can upload emotes, and it's just a lot more fun. I don't even use Whatsapp anymore. I'd rather text people than use Whatsapp for all intense and purposes. Discord also uses bots and I don't think Whatsapp does.
Chose Discord
The interface is just easier to use. The platform is quite reliable. Audio/video calls in good quality. Web and mobile platform [as] well
Chose Discord
For our gaming nights, communication is vital especially in our multiplayer games , and the only voice product that worked smoothly is Discord. Skype's sound would cut out and Zoom's security was poor. Also Discord allows you to join public servers and there are roles which …
Chose Discord
Previously, we all used Slack. However, Slack is expensive. It doesn't keep message history and you don't have the freedom Discord offers.
I can use the same account for business and personal life without worrying about privacy concerns that I had with Slack (account owners …
Chose Discord
Discord allows you to organize communication between many people, while not "mixing everyone together", but dividing them into appropriate groups. Thanks to the ability to work through the browser, Discord is easy to use on any device, without the need to install additional …
Chose Discord
Discord offers the most efficient way to onboard new users when we need to communicate quickly and via text and/or voice.
Chose Discord
Discord and Slack have some very similar features. While Slack feels a bit more professional, Discord allows for the addition of voice chat rooms. While Discord feels a bit younger and more unprofessional, it's a great program for engaging with students and young people. Where …
Chose Discord
The subdivisions through voice and text channels that can be elevated in Discord facilitate the organization of the company. Discord planned that the information not lost in the middle of the conversations, we managed to organize for the projects. Permission levels also help …
Chose Discord
Not sure why we selected Discord, but I have found it a lot easier to use than the likes of Hangouts, or Teams. It's very intuitive and very good for off-the-cuff meetings or discussions. The ability to have a discussion quickly without the need for invites or starting meetings …
Chose Discord
Discord is basically the version of Skype that you've always wanted. It makes it easy for you to chat with your friends, video call them, and make conference calls. It's a MUCH quicker system and does not seem to have such an impact on my hardware as well. Discord is doing …
Teamwork.com
Chose Teamwork.com
Teamwork was the choice for us during the first few years, as it was accessible and affordable. Later on, Asana and Monday.com delivered superior features and functionality.
Chose Teamwork.com
Trello does so much better work in task management, in my opinion. It's much faster and simpler, I believe. The way I see it Teamwork is a slow, complicated waste of money
Chose Teamwork.com
Teamwork Enterprise IT Product has each and every module which is more advanced features. Impressively, it accepts documents created by other softwares. It works well in smaller devices like android phones. The teamwork Software suite, help you to analyze your projects.
Chose Teamwork.com
Recommended by consultant, while also tested it so decide to implement it in a project.
Chose Teamwork.com
Teamwork Projects gives us the communication flow between team members, which allows us to complete projects efficiently while keeping in touch. This is important because it shows you the essential aspects to get good results.
Chose Teamwork.com
The tools that Teamwork Projects offer are advanced yet not as confusing when compared to other platforms used in project management. It is compatible with the web and all mobile devices to enable users to go mobile when organizing projects, teams, and resources.
Chose Teamwork.com
Adopting to using the tool is easy for both clients and teams. In addition, being able to give freedom to our teams to work from anywhere has increased productivity. Teamwork Projects has been the perfect tool for us.
Chose Teamwork.com
I spoke about this quite a bit before, but as far as usability goes, Microsoft Projects is totally useless for me, so I avoid it at all costs. Basecamp was just a task management app and had very small feature set beyond that. We had to rig it to do other things for us, but it …
Chose Teamwork.com
Every application has its own Pros &Cons but Basecamp pricing is not much flexible either they had flat per month rate for businesses. Teamwork Graphical user interface is better and their free version is also a plus point. Basecamp only offers 30 days free trial.
Chose Teamwork.com
Haven't used anything else to compare it.
Chose Teamwork.com
We previously relied solely on TaskManager which was an in-house developed task management platform. It did not have a lot of the functionalities that Teamwork has. TaskManager did provide some visualization tools to monitor team member progress but it relied on other tools for …
Chose Teamwork.com
We chose it because it gives us an excellent experience and quality in each internal work process; we perform all our activities in one place and together.
Chose Teamwork.com
Teamwork was already implemented when I started at the company.
Chose Teamwork.com
I prefer Teamwork over monday.com and google drive, but it could still use more functionality. We primarily use the Gantt chart, but I wish there was more functionality. There aren't as many features as I would like and I wish we didn't need to pay per user. I like things like …
Chose Teamwork.com
Our team overwhelmingly preferred Teamwork Projects to other project management tools. It is reasonably priced while still offering an equal or better product.
Chose Teamwork.com
Before this, we used Trello, which is just not as suited for the case. Trello boards are not made to duplicate process steps, etc. Teamwork is superior in that regard.
Chose Teamwork.com
Teamwork is everything Project Online should be. It's not straddled with legacy bloat like Microsoft Project, and it is designed from the group up to be a cloud SaaS platform, where MS Project has bolted on the web support and it doesn't offer the same streamlined experience …
Chose Teamwork.com
We have tested other products but according to our context of use, Teamwork suited as the best option due to functionality (complete and easy-to-use) and fair pricing. We found and tested other tools that had the same features but they were not so intuitive. Basically, Teamwork …
Chose Teamwork.com
Teamwork is designed for collaboration and project management. This application does exactly what it is designed to do without any unwanted/complication features that would confuse a normal (non-technical) user. Very easy to the user interface when compared to other …
Chose Teamwork.com
monday.com is easy and "just works." There wasn't a high learning curve when it came to starting and implementing monday.com for my smaller internal team. However, I don't believe it would have worked on this project. There are too many moving parts and we needed something a …
Chose Teamwork.com
Teamwork stacks up very well with other project management products. I think it really just depends on what the company and team's needs are to determine which option is right for you. Some people and places will benefit greatly from something as robust and high quality as …
Chose Teamwork.com
Teamwork is so much easier to use, particularly in the area of timekeeping, than Zoho Projects.
Chose Teamwork.com
Teamwork is way better than ProWorkflow in every way, especially design (UI). PWF was hard to use and that resulted in people not using it and logging time--which caused a whole bunch of business problems. Compared to Basecamp, TW Proejcts is way more organized and easy to …
Chose Teamwork.com
We decided to stay with Teamwork and actually expand its uses because we felt it was the most straightforward solution. It also has robust APIs that our computer operations team could use to integrate into our own systems.
Zoom Workplace
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom I feel is more like Google Meet the way I use it, which is just the video conference platform. I'd say Microsoft Teams has the most integrated and polished suite but they won't let you meet with users outside of your business without having to setup accounts first. Zoom, …
Chose Zoom Workplace
It's stabel and intuitive it was accepted quickly by all of our users

Chose Zoom Workplace
In Google Meet, we cannot access the screen, and in AnyDesk, we cannot talk with the person we connected with. But in Zoom Meeting, we can do all 3 things together. And the addon features are document sharing, an AI companion. These are the differentiators that are taking Zoom …

As I said I have been using since my early college days so this is something I know very well compared to these two tools, so when I workplace had this tool in the option I obviously picked this tool and from then it's never let me down and other tool features are very …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom Workplace is a simpler and easy to deploy software and can be run on low performance machines too. Its UI, wide use and data encryption policies made it a perfect choice.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom seems like a better total experience than Teams. It offers a more consistent experience and an easier-to-use GUI. It manages meetings against your calendar more nicely and allows you to join meetings when the room isn't booked more easily than its counterparts.
Chose Zoom Workplace
With Skype for Business being discontinued, it was no longer an option for us to use. The older technology does not compare to Zoom Workplace. Microsoft Teams is just as reliable as Zoom Workplace for video conferencing and chat. The integration that Microsoft Teams has with …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Compared to them the webinars and video meeting environment is much better here and it's much more reliable here. Also we saw audio and video quality here.
Chose Zoom Workplace
I prefer Zoom as AI Companion is included at no extra cost, therefore can be used at a larger scale by the organization.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom Workplace has more features but the fact I need a paid plan for recording and or 1 hour meetings vs Meet being included in my Zoom Workplace plan
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom Workplace is more of robust program, however I have found the alternatives to be good as well at no or much less of a cost.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom is approximately equal to Webex in terms of features and functionality but integrates poorly with other M365 platforms as well as 8x8, so we chose Teams as our primary meeting and calling platform to have a more successful rollout and integration with our existing …
Chose Zoom Workplace
I prefer Teams overall and would place Google in third with Zoom in third, however all are functional. Zoom was not ultimately selected as the long term solution but would have been fine if it had been. If meeting software was Apple vs Android, Zoom would be Apple, and I'm a …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom seems more user-friendly, and employees report fewer issues with its overall functionality.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Each product has its unique features. Zoom has been in production long enough to earn confidence in its accessibility and reliability.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Again, I think Zoom is easier to use, offers more features, and has much better video and audio quality than its competitors. We were able to consolidate tools with Zoom and remain in compliance with our internal security policies. It is also just super easy to use.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom is the mothership of all meeting products. It has stood the test of time through Covid, and all the other platforms are constantly playing catch-up, with features like backgrounds, filters, audio settings, captions, and transcripts. It's great to be able to move camera …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Going to the meeting was more difficult for the external stakeholders. Zoom allowed people outside of our org to easily join a meeting without forcing them to download anything.
Chose Zoom Workplace
I'm generally more confident in moving around Zoom, perhaps simply because of the frequency of use and the universality of acceptance.
Chose Zoom Workplace
I personally like Zoom the best. The interface is super easy to use and I really like the quality of the sound and the video. I would put it as a clear leader compared to Meet and Teams.
Chose Zoom Workplace
MS Teams is currently being used internally, it is also a very good product. MS Teams is excellent when connection to office applications and office personel are crucial in a secure Microsoft environment. Zoom is better for non-technical persons.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom Workplace stacks up better than Microsoft Teams in terms of general meeting capabilities, webinar and live event capabilities, user experience, and how slick it is generally - it's a nicer environment where things feel more intuitive and professional. Teams is laggy and …
Chose Zoom Workplace
- Less aggravation for our clients - better quality audio and video - better whiteboarding - AI summarization - all in one collaboration - ubiquitous, known and familiar to most people around the world - simple, very easy to set up and use - ease of scheduling meetings - …

As I mentioned before, Zoom Workplace offers many more options (integration with multiple apps, AI support, high-quality recordings, multi-participant meetings, etc.). Furthermore, since Zoom Workplace is the leading platform, it's easier for my clients and other professionals …

Discord is completely suited for any tech server needs - and a million times better than Facebook. It's still lLess suited for non-tech but for sure it's getting better and with some support from Discord that could be fixed easily (just don't dumb-it down or take away features please). I have it open all day, on a separate monitor if I'm not using that one for something else. It'd be great - and maybe I've missed this - if there was a way to have an overview of messages posted in various channels. Despite using it for years now, I've never dug deeply into notifications, so maybe it's possible already. But it should be highly customisable - ie, put all messages from chosen slow servers in the feed, but only highlights from busy ones, and no messages from certain servers etc , so it remains manageable.

Teamwork is awesome for teams who need a flexible tool that supports all types of projects. Since it supports kanban it makes visualizing the work to be done and the work in progress very easy. The Gantt chart support is decent and helps to understand how a team is doing when it comes to getting work done in a given time frame. Teamwork isn't a great option for companies that have a bunch of projects going simultaneously due to the way Teamwork structures their billing based on a number of active projects.

Zoom Workplace is ideal for many businesses, more so because it saves money by uniting different functionalities into one app - meetings, messaging, phone, and scheduling. The tool keeps teams connected thanks to the amazing collaboration and communication features. In addition, Zoom Workplace is helpful for businesses with a hybrid team, thanks to its effortless connections.

Pros
  • One to many Communications to ensure that we can quickly get messages out when we have to.
  • Quick polling of questions and issues
  • The ability to gate channels so we can focus on folks that we know are stakeholders gives them an added feeling of belonging and that they have a say in the direction of projects.

  • I am a believer that simple and easy should be the key to create great opportunities.
  • Teamwork has helped me to turn simple task management into the execution of large, massive projects.
  • It has certainly worked great in helping to maintain workflow in my department.

  • Zoom is a great meeting solution, with features like smart recording, breakout rooms, and personalized video and audio, making it a functional business meeting tool.
  • It is equipped with amazing AI features that help summarize meetings, generate content, and provide quick catch-up, allowing one to ask AI questions without interrupting meetings.

Cons
  • Adding friends for DMing is a little confusing.
  • Joining new servers can have some roadblocks.
  • Notification setup can be difficult, some individuals were only notified if tagged.
  • Archiving a channel without losing everything.
  • Having to upload images before sharing instead of accessing everything in my own library.

  • Visualization needs to be improved, charts graphs are limited
  • Value stream mapping should be available to determine and prioritize the work.
  • Documentation should be available stepwise with export and printable facility.
  • It should be configurable like ERP with cross functionalities of different users, where users login, assign and approve the work, job or project details, where it should be collectively effected on a project.
  • Add many examples, little more AI, Machine learning required for suggestion and recommendation. It would be a plus point

  • Love notes - allow insertion of table or grid
  • Allow admin to turn off DND
  • Allow a way to group individual people chats - not channels just individual peeps into groups for ease of finding - like how you can group shared calendars into sections in Outlook

We are already at an annual contract, and have been for the past 5 years; so far the system has delivered, and our personal is already trained in it. A major overhaul of our entire infrastructure (as in moving everything to a single, unified platform) might change the current continuity of Teamwork Projects on our organization, but that's not feasible in the near future.

Because every other conference tool is expensive, bloated, or fails to make it easy to just have a call with someone.

Usability
Because it is easy to use, its fun, it has everything you need to comunicate, voice, text, screen sharing, images, emojis, gifs, stickers, and even personalized ones. It also has comunication through integrations like games and music, that i think that brings people together. It is also great for keeping records of the conversations at work

The web based user interface is familiar, flexible (boards, task lists, and Gantts) and feature-rich. It is simple enough for the beginner to be effective and robust enough for experienced users to gain efficiencies with advanced techniques. Reporting is intuitive and can be customized for transfer via email or to paper. Great interoperability with other tools make teamwork dependable and a good partner for the overall technology stack.

Zoom is made for the non tech office. It has features that can be made to do what you need to run things on a day to day basis. Immediately we we able to get meetings going with remote employees. The ability to be able to add smartphone connected people was a big plus. Zoom met our needs at the time.

There have been less than a handful of outages during our two years with Zoom, and whenever there was one, an email informing us of the outage went out immediately, and they had the issue resolved shortly thereafter.

Zoom has among the best performance of any video conference platform, as I've mentioned several times. Besides that, their Chat platform works great, and their back end always runs smooth. It's unfortunate that reporting can now only be done by one month at a time, but nonetheless, it only takes a second to run any kind of Zoom report, whether it's an attendee report, Poll results, a user report, a list of meetings from the past month, etc.

Support Rating
There is plenty of online documentation and knowledge base articles. As well as having an open API to be able to tie it into other products makes it a really viable solution for any business. I have never had to contact support, any questions which I have need answered can be found in the documentation,

The support service provided by Teamwork is excellent, and one of the best I've experienced. This is for the following reasons: (1) The speed at which they respond to queries I raise (2) The depth of understanding they have of the product (3) The way in which they are able to understand my questions without needing me to re-explain (4) The quality of the documentation available online (5) The openness they express about current issues and downtime

Because I got a response right away, and was assigned one specific individual to work with me from the beginning to the resolution. I had an actual email address and direct contact with this person without having to start over and over every time I contacted Zoom - this singular individual remained attentive and was well informed on the subject matter and quite able to resolve my needs.

If you receive any pushback from higher ups, point to any of the various positive reviews like this one. Or show Zoom's excellent Gartner report, or articles describing Zoom's partnership with Sequoia capital. It's not difficult to show how Zoom is a trustworthy industry leader with best-in-class technology.

Alternatives Considered
The vast array of free features on Discord right out of the box makes it a stand-out in pricing from other chat platform options. Discord works phenomenally if you want a chat platform that is free, quick to set up, and very flexible in the ways you can start using it. It doesn't require a complex set of logins for different servers (such as Slack) or logins that are inconveniently tied to other products (like Microsoft). If you prefer to view full conversations all in one place without them "splintering" off into branches that are missed, such as is the case with Slack, Discord works great for this. If you feel seeing everything is too overwhelming or "busy", Discord may not be right for you. Discord is great for lean organizations or startup companies, but will likely not feel "professional enough" for larger, traditional "corporate" enterprises.

I spoke about this quite a bit before, but as far as usability goes, Microsoft Projects is totally useless for me, so I avoid it at all costs. Basecamp was just a task management app and had very small feature set beyond that. We had to rig it to do other things for us, but it failed at that. Asana was a very nice app to trial, but it lacked many of the features that we were looking for.

As I said I have been using since my early college days so this is something I know very well compared to these two tools, so when I workplace had this tool in the option I obviously picked this tool and from then it's never let me down and other tool features are very overlapping or hidden this tools layout is very clear and transparent the customer service is great timely response which is an another add on.

Scalability

Because the Basic licenses are completely free, and because it's very easy to configure and install Zoom, and because anyone can join Zoom from a link without needing an account, scaling is a Breeze. There are absolutely no roadblocks. My company keeps adding more Zoom Pro license every week since it's so in demand. We were able to convert users from several different platforms onto Zoom with no trouble at all.

  • Very feature dense on a free-level.
  • Easy to build a good sense of discourse and community.
  • Generally a more casual vibe than similar platforms.
  • Channels with a large number of users can be overly hectic to the point of diminishing returns.

  • Overall, it keeps our team on track ensuring that all of our projects are on time and on budget, which definitely contributes to our retention rates.
  • It ensures that we're tracking time on billable tasks which contributes directly to our bottom line.
  • Teamwork Projects also helps us better forecast when a clients project can be completed (alongside the other work our team needs to accomplish) AND it helps us more accurately quote projects in the future because we have historical time tracking data saved.

  • Zoom saved my business during the pandemics.
  • Zoom's functionality was far ahead of anything available in the early days of the pandemic.
  • In the last few months, the annual subscription has not appropriate for my use, so I might cancel it because I rarely use the extended session feature anymore.
  • I wish there were a one-shot option to purchase a single 2-hour session with all the full features (AI, recording, etc.) instead of an annual subscription.
