Gong is more like a personal assistant and provides helpful insights that zoom doesn't. zoom is more for the call recording and and presentation on the call.
Gong stacks all that platforms because use the best of AI to give you a lot of amazing insights of your past calls and helps you to write FUP e-mails and other stuff that consumes a lot of time from a salesperson. Gong will help you to find your best version as a salesperson …
None of the platforms have what gong has for recording calls, giving an overview of the call, or a to-do list based off the call. It has so many great features that we use for our daily operations to help with client requests, needs and training. I really think gong is a great …
We used to use Zoom recordings but they don't compare, we also had to spend a ton on extra storage while Gong is unlimited. In my opinion, Zoom provides no insights, no ability to score calls, no collaboration, poor sharing, etc.
Gong has the best AI out of these technologies. Its sequencing capability is a bit more complicated but for a growing SDR or AE team, its a perfect tool with its AI capabilities that we have not seen elsewhere.
Zoom also has the ability to record, but it's more work and not as easy as gong. Additionally, the transcribing features and other additional benefits from Gong are great.
It's sexier. The UI/UX is better than anything we've evaluated. We just love it....and they don't nickel and dime you. The staff at Gong is exemplary! When working with Zoominfo and Chorus.ai - they disappeared. You can tell people at Gong, like their jobs!
Showpad is similar to Gong but it doesn't offer the conversation analysis (like a deal stage, what the conversation is about, etc). It doesn't give you tips for follow-up. It also doesn't tell you your performance (i.e. patience, monologuing, etc). So it's fine for recording …
I have used Zoom for call recording and we used to share cloudbased zoom recordings with our customres and it looked a lot less professional. We also didnt have the luxury of selecting a "snippet" of the call whereas with Gong.io, you can choose to only share a select part of …
We use Gong and Dealfront now but HubSpot is just a better all round tool and has better functionality for managing sales contacts and helping with the sales process.
We used to use Outreach but we stopped because it wasn't as robust as HubSpot CRM. It also wasn't as easy to use. We couldn't store any client data in Outreach because it wasn't made for that. It also didn't integrate well with HubSpot CRM. So we got rid of it and I'm so glad …
I think SFDC does some things better than HS but overall comparable. ChurnZero literally serves a different purpose, but I will say that Company/ Contact management and reporting are much easier in CZ.
There seems to be more contextual information in HubSpot CRM than any of the other softwares listed, but I think HubSpot CRM lacks in the customer usage area. Maybe this is just something that HubSpot CRM doesn't focus on, though!
I like that HubSpot is all in one platform and provides a more end to end service. I don't have to jump between softwares or solutions to complete one task and instead have it all in the same place. I also find it generally more user friendly than the other solutions such as Sal…
I have not used any other CRMs in the past. I am a HubSpot CRM native. Wish I could provide more feedback here but I guess I am lucky to have only used HubSpot CRM!
Hubspot has been more robust for us as a tool due to the fact that marketing also lives in there with us. Both tools have great prospecting functionality, but the big thing for us has been the ability to have better aligned efforts and visibility with both sales & marketing …
We have been evaluating a ton of tools, and we came to HubSpot because of the ease of use that you offer, as well as the ability to work with a startup company. The pricing was a no-brainer for us.
Cost was a huge factor but also the seamless integration and marketing abilities found with hubspot we just thought it made sense for us to full implement to hubspot.
HubSpot CRM is a great middle ground between the two. Better for B2B than Zendesk, and maybe less extensive in capabilities but also less expensive and easier to make adjustments to than Salesforce.
I’d say it only ranks behind Salesforce and Odoo in customization, and wins amongst all four when it comes to ease of use and scalability in startups and scaleups
HubSpot CRM is one of the best CRM tools on the market and serves any kind of sales business perfectly. It works as a single place where users can keep product information and contact lists of customers. Users can stay in touch with customers and contact with any time but …
Close.io did not have as much flexibility when performing outreach and we had to buy an external tool for it. Also, there were no reporting capabilities on a team-wide basis.
Gong is a wonderful tool to be able to make sure that a call is recorded properly with next steps highlighted by an AI once the transcript has been processed. Our organization uses the clip functionality quite often to share a prospect question internally with the appropriate parties, and the sales and CS teams have it synced to SFDC so they can see the opportunity value associated with each call.
I am giving it a 9 rating out of 10 because it has saved my job and helped my team to cracks very big deals. Last year, we were supposed to give a presentation to a client as we were about to sign him for a project. The client asked for our numbers in a real meeting, but we hadn't prepared them for our presentation. I logged in to HubSpot CRM and created a small report that included the relevant numbers. This turned out to be a very good decision for our company, as we subsequently signed that client.
The history is quite useful in many aspects of my daily work, as I have a complete and detailed view of transcribed calls and email summaries of previously exchanged emails.
It's like an assistant; I can receive email reminders about things discussed during a video call, such as the upcoming date of a scheduled meeting or notes on certain key aspects the client needs for their order.
I can share calls through Gong with my clients. This gives me an added advantage, allowing the client to have reminders or a record of what was discussed without having to worry about manually taking notes.
The interface is complex but easy to learn, has many assistant-like features, and can also be integrated into many calling platforms, such as Zoom.
Timeline view and conversation log is extremely helpful and an underrated feature; this is in addition to the entire user profile view.
Task management is simple but effective.
Deal and company tracking with stakeholder management inside companies / deals is very handy; we know what is happening even though we might not be directly working on it.
Gmail integration is quite smooth along with email tracking.
More of an integration issue I think than a problem with HubSpot CRM, but we have AirCall integrated for direct phone lines and synching with individual users for outbound calls. Opening Aircall to make an outbound call automatically generates a new client - unattached to a company record as an orphan.
Historical records with activities is awesome but when creating a deal it isn't always a choice to capture last 30 days of history. When it is an option and you click to add that to a deal you can see all the activity items and people who have done anything with the "file".
I would like to see more native options for automation.
Gong is one of the best if not the best tools we have in or tech stack in terms of ROI and ease of use. The ai features that have been released over the past year have continued to add value and are not just shiny new features that don't get used. It is also an easy to use platform for our sales and customer success reps, takes very little time to become proficient in. The deal boards also provide great visibility into opps for management and leadership
Thus far, our company has found HubSpot CRM to be a reliable service that serves its purpose well: a centralized business contacts database, accessible remotely, with a simple and visually-pleasing interface. Issues are non-existent or resolved quickly, and when the service is experiencing interruptions, notifications and/or updates are sent regularly.
By default it automatically provides a lot of proactive information. Out of the box you can get a lot of value from what gets recorded with minimal setting adjustment. The effort you put in to enhancing it just makes it all the more powerful but you do not have to have a dedicated admin to get basic usage out of it.
I am giving it this rating because it has helped us keep track of leads, it saved us a lot of time by automating tasks, and it makes it easy for different teams to work together. It is user-friendly and has improved our approach to communicating with customers and closing deals.
I give them a 10 because, I have been using Gong for over a year now and have never had issues or concerns go un resolved in a day or two. Their communication is impeccable and their tech support is very hands on and prompt
Because when I needed help HubSpot responded immediately and provided me with the information I needed which enabled me to realize that HubSpot was even more customizable and easier to use than I thought! And I already thought HubSpot was very user friendly and easy to use, and then Support showed me how to manipulate the settings, columns and the appearance of the tool.
If you've had any prior experience with cloud based marketing automation or group communication tools, you can do the implementation without paid outside support. Though getting to a SLA (service level agreement) would be best achieved with the help of a third party who can facilitate
I've used Chorus at a past company. It seems to do the transcriptions similarly accurately to Gong. Good enough call recording. The call feedback can be done too although maybe not as easily. I do not believe Chorus can create call playlists. I do feel there are a lot less analytics pieces to Chorus too. There are many feature addons in Gong to help sales motions.
We've been using Hubspot for years and don't foresee making any changes away from it. It has been fully integrated into how our business operates. We ultimately selected HubSpot CRM because it had all the features and functions that our marketing, sales, and operations teams wanted. And it offered those features and functions at the right price point for our organization.
saves a lot of time, mainly thanks to call summaries & next steps as well as workflows allowing to automate communication
I could say that generally speaking it does increase revenue because you can do more work in the same period of time > more leads, more opportunities, more sales
