I am using 8x8 Work every day for my business work. In my previous organization, I used a desk phone in the office. I can not use the office number from outside the office. Due to this, my client always complained that after office hours, you became unreachable. But now I am using 8x8 Work, I can use it on desk phone, laptop and in my Mobile phone as well. 8x8 Work is excellent in use. It has HD voice quality.

Pros

  • 8x8 Work is doing well is Voice quality, I did not face any issue
  • 8x8 Work has very good user interface
  • Call Management is good

Cons

  • Sometimes we face voice delay and disturbance in voice
  • 8x8 Work a little bit costly

We Use it in Our Organization in San Francisco and New York. Also we are planning to increase 8x8 License in our new showroom which is opening shortly in Los Angeles. Our Employee use 8x8 to connect with their Clients and I Manage Admin Console. It's Quick and easy to use 8x8, Really Happy !!

Communication – telephone system and the people are

outstanding:

The phone system is very clear and easy to navigate. Our

people are mostly not electronically minded, and I really appreciate how

quickly everyone was able to get to hang of the system, I don’t know how we

survived without it.

I want to compliment the sales person; he was professional

and knowledgeable of the system. who answered the phone. They were so polite

and helpful right from the start. The 8x8 team does a wonderful job. I'm always happy to have

a conversation with such a friendly people.

Pros

  • They listen to what we needed and provided the perfect solution
  • There knowledge of the system that are out there and guiding us to the best solution, is priceless
  • Not afraid of negative responses to suggestions, this was key, it helped use choose the right equipment
  • They keep an eye out for the most updated systems available

Cons

  • A larger selection of systems, but not sure if that is really helpful?
  • With the experience all I can say is don't try and fix something that isn't broken

  • At first I thought the system was on the high side, until we started using it. It was a bargain at twice the price.
  • an average our customer base increased 40% mainly because the system really upgraded our customer contact. Leaving messages became a lot nicer, and our customers noticed this right away.

We partnered with 8x8 back in 2023 and switched over our main number, added extensions, were afforded e-fax capabilities and utilized Poly VVX 350 and 450 devices. We have been able to utilize mobile and softphone features which provides the flexibility we need for our most treasured resources... the people. Wherever we may be, and it does not have to be our offices, we have the accessibility needed so we are available. 8x8 has been solid.

Pros

  • 8x8 Work Desktop: Calls through my laptop, listen to VM etc...
  • 8x8 App: Receiving calls to my work extension directly on my phone
  • Easy to use interfaces (UI)

Cons

  • Administration (admin.8x8) is a bit kludgy. Often difficult to navigate especially for settings.

Return on Investment

  • We are a small non-profit, so there is not a significant ROI. We compared with other cloud-based solutions and this fit us.

We love the 8x8 from the first time that our clients call, they are able to get in touch with the department that they need to, as well as everyone in the office being able to contact one another behind the scenes via text messaging. We work in the medical industry, so being HIPAA compliant is imperative us, and 8x8 is HIPAA compliant. I mean there are so many important things that we use 8x8 for whether we're at our desks or when we're not and away from the office being able to use the app that streamline all of our communications again whether it's someone trying to contact us via the phone or through text messaging this really is an amazing tool that has helped our business grow by leaps and bounds.

  • Streamlines calls whether they are voice or text messaging
  • Being able to text other people on the team behind the scenes in real time

Cons

  • Honestly, I can't think of any
