FloQast is quite suitable where the management wants to maintain their books of accounts to be very accurate through continuous and detailed sign-off mechanisms for account reconciliations and a checklist of activities to be followed for the period close (monthly, quarterly, annual, etc.) This will ensure the good quality of account records that will support management during the various audit purposes.

If complex close items need to be done in the correct order or multiple subs, FQ makes it a breeze to track. If your close is simple, or done with only a few people, their system might not be a great benefit. With a team of 20, we need a tool like this to keep everyone on the same page!

Floqast is an easy tool to implement. It also fits into your existing close process rather than forcing your team to adjust their process to do with the tool. It also helps to reduce the time to close, as all team members have a clear line of sight of their assigned tasks and due dates and provide notifications as functions are reviewed.

Amazing Tracking Tool

FloQast is extremely useful when it comes to set tasks that rarely change month to month. It is less useful for ad hoc requests and one offs that probably won't be repeated on a regular basis. It could be used to track one-offs but depending on the size of the organization, that could turn out to be a large number of work items that shouldn't need that level of tracking.

FloQast excels at tracking, and coordinate the different stages of a financial close. It is super useful for larger operations and teams where several tasks need to be coordinated in order. For smaller companies and teams, it may not be worth it because you may not utilize it to its fullest capabilities.

Well suited for streamlining and standardizing month-end close processes, especially for larger organizations with complex and/or more rigorous reporting requirements.

FloQast is a great tool to use during the close. Being able to see where the bottle necks are helps identify where my team needs to focus. Having that information helps improve our close process. The sign offs of the reconciliations and also being able save the supporting documentation in one place is great for our annual audits.

I think FloQast is really well suited for most accounting teams that work collaboratively on the closing cycle, but will especially work well for distributed teams that work in multiple time zones. Adoption has really been key for our success in the tool. If your users are committed to marking off items as they complete them, the tool works great. If you can't get members/teams to consistently check-off tasks or reconciliations, it can be a bit challenging to be able to comprehend and analyze the results.

Floqast is perfect for an organization looking to move away from an Excel or Google Sheets based close management process. It is structured in a manner that makes the transition for such an organization simple and easy. In addition, there are features available that will allow an organization to grow with the platform.
Where I see limitations with Floqast is with complex organizations with 20+ entities to manage across multiple teams. In these cases, automation to help with the close(either in journal entry generation or account reconciliation) is required for scale and Floqast does not have a lot of features that help teams with this.

This was the first company that has Floqast and I have enjoyed it.
It is very suitable for tracking purposes and keeping the team aligned with timing and approvals for the month end close.

It is not perfect because we cannot dive into what makes an account out of balance after it is already approved. Also, it doesn't have analytics tied with it.

FloQast gets exponentially more useful the larger the organization is, so it's well suited for those in growth mode. I think it might be overkill for a small mom and pop company with a team of just a couple people, but other than that there's not any scenario I can think of that FloQast would not be helpful

We were looking to implement an automated way to manage the close without overhauling our underlying Excel based processes and Floqast was the perfect fit. It was easy to implement and we have had few problems in our four years of use. It has grown with our business as we have become more complex and I do not foresee outgrowing it.

FloQast is an excellent tool for managing your Finance Function. It is particularly strong when it comes to repetitive processes and cycles but I expect the new Projects functionality to expand to cover non-repeating projects and things with different timescales.

One of best things about FloQast is how it handles reconciliations - integrating with our ERP and reading reconciliation data from Excel is a huge benefit in efficiency and control.

FloQast is very efficient for an accounting organization to manage account reconciliations, provide review notes, document approvals, and attach support. FloQast also allows access for external auditors to review reconciliations with read-only access.

I can't think of a better financial close tool than Floqast. They also have quite a bit more functionality which we have not used yet, such as Flux and Remind. As I have not yet used these features unfortunately I cannot speak to those specifically.

I feel that any company that wants clean accounting would absolutely benefit from using FloQast. Our company uses it with all of our clients, across a broad range of industries, and it is universally applicable. Recently we onboarded a new client whose books were several months behind, with a ton of items missing and hardly any reconciliation or close work done. FloQast was absolutely integral to us getting their books caught up, organized, and all of the close items in one place. Once the catch-up work was done, the following months' closes were so much smoother and more organized, and we were able to stick to our close deadlines consistently, all because of FloQast. Additionally, when I first started working for my company, one of the first things I was able to do was put all of my weekly task items into FloQast in the non-close section. It was very helpful to be able to check off my tasks each week, and allowed me to feel confident that there weren't items I was missing or forgetting to complete.
