Month-End Close & FLUX: You no longer have to use a Gsheet to see how the close is going; you can look at the Dashboard to see exactly how it's going. Check where the bottlenecks are and possibly reassign tasks if needed. The FLUX is also linked to the Month End Close, which makes the filling out a breeze, as most of it was done during the Recon process. We have used FQ for 2-3 years and love it!

- Managers can see the bottlenecks, who is underperforming.
- Management can use # of checklists/Recons required for Subs to see if re-consolidations are needed.
As we grow in complexity (IPO ready) as well as in international entities, FQ has made it easy to stay on top of all these new and additional steps. As teams grow, easy to add new EE's into the workflow, and even as teams shift, even easier to allocate tasks to other team members. They really have thought of it all!
We rely on FQ as a sanity check that all documents agree to the TB; no more going through each document to make sure it ties; if the balance ever goes out of balance, it informs us, and we correct it. We can also add Auditors to FQ so they can see the audit trail of the approval process.
The User Interface and implementation were the key drivers for choosing FQ compared to BL. Our team was up in a matter of days or so it felt! Even if you didn't get properly trained in FQ, you could easily figure it out on your own, which was nice, especially for a large team.
