Litmos Test - Passed

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Litmos for all of our training matrix requirements, from our mandatory E learning requiring completion, to registration of in person training sessions. We also house other event bookings on the platform for staff to book themselves onto. The platform allows us to have accurate reporting available to us in a quick manner when needed.

Pros

  • The content creator model is easy to use and provides lots of oppurtunities for creating engaging training.
  • The reporting function is highly detailed and easy to use.
  • The look and feel of the platform is slick and easy to navigate, the branding is consistent and makes it enjoyable to engage with.

Cons

  • I would like to see more creative options available in the content creator tool.
  • I think there is scope to improve functionality for managers to book their teams onto in person sessions.
  • I would like to see more integration with other platforms such as creating teams lobbys.

Return on Investment

  • Simplified reporting available in different formats
  • Increased compliance rates given increased visibility and ease of reporting function
  • More ability to author our own learning

Litmos is a promising Learning Management System. Still growing into its potential

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Litmos is our LMS for our corporate compliance modules for our internal and external employees/providers. It also has many elective courses for a variety of soft skills. It has a professional look and feel. It does have the tracking we need to keep on top of our metrics. We appreciate the ability to remind users of deadlines.

Pros

  • Assigning
  • Tracking
  • Reminding

Cons

  • While it looks good, the main dashboard can be some much more user friendly.
  • Users, especially those looking to complete their compliance courses should not have to guess where to go to complete them.
  • They need a much better keyword oriented search function that can seek out courses based on works mentioned in the material.

Return on Investment

  • We needed an LMS, Litmos had the basic features we needed
  • The ramp up period was not bad
  • The employees have adapted well

A training system you won't regret trying out

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Litmos enables us to create a wholistic training and tracking solution, suitable for every employee top to bottom. The combination of off the shelf content as well as resources to improve our company-curated content is invaluable in providing new and re-used content. The best part is all of this available for employees to reference 24/7 on their own schedule (this is important as many of them work from home or around the world).

Pros

  • Pre-generated content related to compliance and management
  • Full encryption so our company secrets stay just that, a secret
  • Accessible around the clock as well as for those who speak different languages.

Cons

  • I'd like to see additional off-the-shelf content as it's a lot of work for teams to go in and produce high quality content
  • The initial setup stage can take quite a while and involves creating a lot of content
  • Pricing can be more than other companies

Return on Investment

  • The pre-made content has opened up a lot of time for our HR teams to focus on other things that matter
  • The gamification of learning has meant our employees are completing trainings at a rate we've never seen before

The Wonderful World of Litmos

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are an OEM Vendor of Litmos, so we use it both internally and externally for our clients. For me, I use Litmos everyday, all day it feels like! We create our own training content, and host it on Litmos, so there is often troubleshooting needed. We also implement clients on the platform, help with any tech requests, and more!

Pros

  • Team Structure and Hierarchy
  • The ability to have a multi-tenant instance, while still keeping clients private
  • Ease of use!

Cons

  • Reporting, it is fine but could be wayy better
  • Collections
  • Content Management across instances

Return on Investment

  • It allows us to grow and support more clients
  • Increased training across the board
  • More employees using the product!

Litmos Review

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Car Wash franchise , 275 locations and growing. We use Litmos as our online training platform for all team members at each site. Over 3500 users currently.

Pros

  • Clear homepage - easy to know what the Learner needs to do next
  • Simple navigation around the site
  • Great teams to work with for onboarding and support

Cons

  • REPORTS - as a franchise, there is a severe lack of functionality for our hierarchy structure. Regional leaders have disappointingly limited options for multi-store reporting, even on simple metrics like completion % A major issue for us, and it delayed the launch to our franchise until our own internal team used API to build our own dashboards.
  • Inability to impersonate a Site Leader. Limits our ability to help. I know there are concerns over security, but there should be permissions based workarounds so we can help our franchise site leaders.

Return on Investment

  • Too early to tell.
