Seismic Learning (formerly Lessonly, acquired by Seismic in August 2021), is a learning management system (LMS). The vendor emphasizes eLearning for client-facing skills, as well as a drag-and-drop interface. Lessonly supports customizable learning paths and corporate onboarding processes.
The advantage of SAP Litmos is that it is not entirely focused on large and corporate teams. It can be implemented by any size of a company and the price will depend on the type of learning support you chose and how many users you wish to involve.
Lessonly offers a feature that was critical for us, which was a full search feature (within content as well as tags, titles, etc.). This really put Lessonly over the top for us.
I have used one other similar software in the past, and Lessonly is much more user-friendly. The previous software was extremely clunky, and even after going through training on it, I never fully utilized it because of how overly complicated it was.
Lessonly's tools allow me to natively create screen recordings with narration - this was something that I couldn't do with other LMS products that I reviewed. Other providers did not offer the ability to quickly pull up lessons and review them side-by-side in Chrome. Being able …
Lessonly is well-suited for the non-educational, corporate industry as an easy to use LMS. The platform is easy to use, create content, and implement within an organization.
Lessonly offered several advantages over these competitors. They offer comparable functionality to industry leaders like Adobe and SAP, while at the same time offering far more responsive and friendly customer support. At the same time, they offered a more robust and …
We looked at several other big LMS platforms but found them too bloated and compliance-based. We didn't want an LMS so we could check compliance boxes and say, "See! We trained this person, so it's their fault they didn't follow our training!" We wanted a platform to help our …
The builder that is built directly into Lessonly is what makes it so much better on the admin side. On the user side, it really easy to use and keep up with.
It has been several years ago when we evaluated options and I was only a small part of the vetting process. We chose Lessonly because of cost and functionality.
I felt some of these products had more features than were necessary and needed for our team. Some of them were limited on the number of content creators that were allowed which to me forces you to use one or two people to create content where I would rather see it done by key …
We ended up choosing Lessonly because of three things. They were local, their approach to addressing the millennial workforce, and the easy use of their system. Their wining and dining, in the beginning, didn't hurt and Bryce Pierson was a great salesman. We almost didn't …
We selected Lesson.ly because the practice scenarios were key for our onboarding program. This was the only platform that offered that. It also has integrations with more of the products we already use, including Salesforce, Slack and Google Suite. This made it easy for us to …
Lesson.ly is ahead of the competition in terms of ease of use, ease of setup, quality of support, and in features. One thing it could have is the course marketplace and 3rd party integrations, which it is currently lacking. Its social learning aspects are still uncovered and …
