Easy to use and recommended for existing ETL developers
- The pricing increased dramatically by 30% with short notice. This obviously hurt the OPEX.

Simple and Powerful
- Modifying code and deploying to production is very simple and takes very little time.
- Easy UI and simple flow creation enabled us to create pipelines in a very short time, rather than spending lot of man-power to get to the same level with other tools.
- In the long run, requirements and complexity grow a lot, it might not be the best solution. Perfect for small-medium sized companies.

Good stepping stone for data infrastructure
- Not a high ROI, as it is a high-priced service--more even for start-ups
- Jobs can get done fast. Delivering is a plus. Reports are made faster.
- It requires infrastructure monitoring, another "hidden" cost.

My experience with Matillion over the past couple of years!!
- Streamline major insights for client trends.
- Backbone of all data analytics.
- Not much of a negative impact.
- We have not had to hire a crew of SQL coders to create our analytics service.
- We have a crew of people who are not coders that actually understand the data flows.
- For the most part, our data delivery is reliable.
- When it's not reliable, fixing it is very time-consuming because, for example, Matillion doesn't tell things like what record broke the flow.

- Our team can dynamically make modifications to code and deploy them immediately.
- Source control and access via the cloud has enabled us to onboard new employees quickly.
- The only negative is that it is relatively new to folks and it takes a little time to ramp up, however, the long term ROI pays off.

Matillion is fast, fairly flexible, and easy to use
- Matillion has saved us a lot of development time when connecting to certain APIs--up to months between making requests and connecting to our Data Warehouse.
- Cost is okay, but is going up significantly soon. Value proposition is dwindling.
- It made it easy to get up-and-running as far as getting data into our data lake. Good for a "quick win."
- Pay-as-you-go model is good for smaller organizations.
