We are using Oracle Dyn DNS Management throughout our entire organization. Prior to Dyn we had multiple operating units using any DNS management service they could find. We had some operating units running their own in-house DNS servers. There was no consistency and management across operating units was a nightmare. We have since all migrated our DNS servers over to DYN. This has made DNS management consistent across all our operating units. Great product.
  • The user interface is very easy to navigate and to be able to see all your DNS zones and records.
  • Changes do not go live until you have reviewed and published them. Great way to check if there are any errors
  • I am very happy with this product and do not have any issues with the service or think there is missing functionality.
I believe for any organization trying to get a handle on their DNS management DYN is a perfect fit. Easy to use UI and built in DNS distribution across multiple data centers provides protection in the event of a data center outage.
  • Having a single user interface that we can see all our DNS zones has saved us many hours trying to update, or add DNS zones. DNS management is now much more simplified and quick.
Oracle Dyn focuses on DNS management and security. Using a single service rather than multiple was just what we needed.
I have not have to use their support very much but when I do they are very professional, knowledgeable and speedy.
The user interface is very simple and navigation is minimal. There is no need to jump all around looking for options or services.

Dyn Managed DNS is used by the entire managed services division to manage client-related DNS. The platform gives us security and accountability over a critical DNS infrastructure compared to other providers.
  • Managed DNS
  • Recording keeping and history of changes
  • Uptime
  • Better integration with their own DynID, currently a two step process to register users.
  • Help for advanced products can sometimes be confusing.
Anyone managing multiple DNS zones would be a great fit for Dyn Managed DNS.
  • Easy to use, great ROI.
They have been able to help the few times we've needed to contact support. Otherwise the product just works as intended.

Very easy to use platform, multiple options for editing and creating records.

We replaced several vendors like GoDaddy, Network Solutions or other "free" solutions with Domain Registrations, and also an inhouse Bind Server.

Need to move to a better platform to manage changes for critical records.
Dyn has met all our expectations and continue to use the product and expand it use.
