As a software engineer, I found the installation scripts and documentation for the product to be of great use. I was able to swiftly install TIBCO Spotfire Server and Microsoft SQL Server to provide all of the canceled clients with a prompt response. They appear to be quite happy with TIBCO's Data Analytics toolkit, which they prefer to the earlier R and R Studio toolkit.

The program is excellent for working with large amounts of data and datasets that are grouped together. The software allows us for a lot of modification, which enables bespoke client components, something I don't find with other platforms. We now have a clear picture of the impact of quality concerns on expenses, and we know what steps to take to limit the risks.

We'd like to connect our sales database to Spotfire. This would help us analyze sales trends in real-time, optimize strategies, and make data-driven decisions for improved sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Mainly We are using Spotfire drivers to connect to various plate forms, starting with Oracle, Mysql, MariaDB, Microsoft Excel, flat files, ETL for data transformation to make data ready before injection in Dashboards and so on so forth. The impact we would like to see is to have Tibco flexible enough to connect to those platforms.

Our current set up uses MSSQL databases for all raw data on Windows OS. However, the backend uses python scripts to pull data from outdated Excel files and other formats, then update into the database. There are issues with lost data, broken scripts, and unreadable data. It would greatly help this site if Spotfire could better handle raw data such as ability to read more formats and cleanly import data.

We have connected Spotfire to many of our operational systems, including operations databases, CRM systems, Marketing databases. The power of Spotfire is that it makes it easy to manage large sets of data, to conduct data transforms on those datasets, to join and append data, and then conduct data analysis on those datasets. We expect that this connectivity will drive grater insights for our organization and help to illuminate more of the business.
