Overall Satisfaction with Spotfire
Spotfire is an excellent tool for yield analysis, engineering verification, and design of experiments. Every user has the option to customize the layout and tasks performed by this versatile tool. Large amounts of data is efficiently managed and can be displayed quickly in many different forms. Spotfire also is growing in terms of MODS available and scripts that are found from the robust online community.

Our organization does not integrate any additional Spotfire tools. It would be nice to see Jaspersoft or Statistica implemented into the standard process of flow. However, the speed of evolution of these tools outpaces the funding available for software upgrades. You buy a tool only for it to become two revisions obsolete before the next capital budget review.
Our current set up uses MSSQL databases for all raw data on Windows OS. However, the backend uses python scripts to pull data from outdated Excel files and other formats, then update into the database. There are issues with lost data, broken scripts, and unreadable data. It would greatly help this site if Spotfire could better handle raw data such as ability to read more formats and cleanly import data.
