Overall Satisfaction with Buffer
Buffer significantly helps us schedule our social media posts and also plan our feeds across multiple platforms which is critical since we use several social media channels.
Pros
- Scheduling and posting scheduled posts
- Highly intuitive user interface
- Analyzes post performance clearly and visually
Cons
- Functionality overall is fairly basic compared to other platforms
- Limitations in handling certain content types like Reels and certain carousel posts
- Provides top line analytics but doesn’t go super in depth
- Saving loads of time
- Planning ahead posts proactively
- Running quick analytics reports
Buffer keeps it simple. It was great for when I worked at smaller companies and also for when I have done freelance social media work. Put it this way, Buffer is an accessible tool. The functionality is basic and intuitive so anyone can learn to use it. They also have a free plan for small companies with a very light social media load (10 posts or less per channel).

Evaluating Buffer and Competitors
- Scalability
- Integration with Other Systems

We wanted something that could easily be learned but also that could easily be scaled if more than the four core members wanted or needed to use it.
We would probably evaluate for speed more than we did initially. We just assumed Buffer would be speedy.
Buffer Implementation
- Implemented in-house
Change management was a minor issue with the implementation
- General knowledge of the product
- Who had access and why
- The overall value and proving this to the cmo

We did yes because given the importance of our work and us being a household name we wanted to ensure we could access customer service immediately no matter what the situation.
I can’t describe a concrete time as we haven’t had too many big ticket issues.
