Step Up with ClickUp
Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
We use ClickUp as our cross-functional project management tool. The reason we chose ClickUp was because the breadth and depth of its capabilities were unlike any other platform we had reviewed. The UX/UI are very intuitive and have made the onboarding process smooth and with minimal friction. Most other platforms we reviewed had more bells and whistles that were really not useful for what I imagine most businesses use on a daily basis.
Pros
- Starting projects is easy to do
- Creating tasks and assigning roles is completely intuitive for how it should be done
- Tracking projects in real-time is easy to do on the fly
- The team has all of the permissions access we need to be as streamlined and efficient as possible
- Working with an all remote work team, ClickUp makes the organization and centralization of work painless
Cons
- ClickUp works very smoothly for most of our team one thing that would help would be having the ability to provide additional training to help some of my non-technical team members
- I am a fan of video walkthroughs and would like to see more of those available
- Working with ClickUp has been good. I'd love to have access to a broader community for sharing insights and inquiries that come up sometimes
- ClickUp has good plans and pricing. I am always a proponent of getting a little more than what some of the plans offer in the way of adding team members or project volumes
- ClickUp nails all the time-saving steps we need to build our business in a most effective way.
- The ClickUp project management platform plays a crucial role in keeping our business on track, on time and on point for our internal needs and our external client needs.
- Access to the ClickUp platform tools, and templates even further improves our margins by cutting down on manual labor.
- ClickUp has worked so well for us that we have at least three other companies we associate with now using it to manage their internal and external teams, projects and processes!
For the way our teams all collaborate, ClickUp makes it easy for us to connect within each other easily and in a timely manner. For all aspects of our business, from project kick-offs to project launch, the ClickUp shared assets spaces, and ability to stay aligned in real-time has been a constant, reliable tool for us. It's so seamless that it's kind of engrained and easily managed almost the same way we think about sending an email. Assigning projects and notifications keeps everyone up to date and in the loop so in running our business, it's a no-brainer solution.
The key decision make for us in looking for project management software was to finally put an end to all of the different logins and passwords and platforms that we use to have to manage just to get through the day. ClickUp keeps everything that we need and we're looking for under one roof and with one simple sign-in in the morning we're good to go for the entire rest of the day. That's why ClickUp has been such a game-changer for us. We love it!
Throughout my career, I have used at least a dozen different project management platforms and tools for keeping projects moving along. While I have used project management tools from some impressive names, I found that most of them weren't very impressive at all. In so many instances the onboarding was frustrating and time-consuming - which kinda made the whole point mute. If I have to work hard just to figure out how to simplify my work management and work flow, then something isn't right. With ClickUp we did have that problem. Ever. From day-one we were able to sign in and start working. The other thing that we've found that makes ClickUp great is that they continually improve the platform. Not by layering in more junk, but by listening to users like us and optimizing experiences that make our jobs easier.
