Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Eloqua

The main part is here in Marketing and Communications Department where we use Eloqua for prospecting and handling the marketing program flows. Also, we are using Eloqua for current customers where we build a site to demonstrate how they can be more efficient with their work. Eloqua is also used in courses and in events.

Biggest business benefits are that we know that all contacts are moving in the right direction and, now that the GDPR is closing, we have all matters covered for it.

Pros

  • Eloqua can do anything that you can think. It is like a marketing automation's MacGyver. The way it can be integrated to different systems and how you can run automated programs helps with the automation
  • If you run a big company in different countries with their own marketing departments, Eloqua gives all the things that you will need to have a separate but still shareable platform

Cons

  • The learning curve with Eloqua is a bit deeper than in others
  • User interfaces are now updating better, but still, there are some UI's that has the old feeling
With the help of Eloqua, we can run more personalized marketing and do it at the right time.
  • With marketing automation, we have increased the number of leads we produce on sales. Also, the leads have more information and are more relevant.
For bigger companies or companies with a need to integrate multiple systems with marketing automation, they will find Eloqua best suited. But if the need for marketing automation is smaller then the Eloqua can seem a bit too big for the system.
