Overall Satisfaction with Procore

Being used by all project managers, assistant project managers, estimators, field superintendents, accounting department, purchasing department and the owner. Streamlines the entry processes and centralizes information within an easy to navigate interface.

procore has a much easier interface. procore is better when using on a mobile device
All field superintendents have access to their projects and the subs hired for particular jobs have access to select information which makes the daily responsibilities of a PM more streamlined. Daily reporting for supers has become standardized and photos are more or less instantaneously updated. Having the ability to mark up a drawing to show another user exactly what your concerns are has been very beneficial.

Not all architects, engineers, subcontractors, owners, etc. are open to using Procore. If all project members are not utilizing the program the efficiency and usefulness of Procore lessens.
Great for field superintendents to upload pictures, document issues with drawings, upload daily reports. Accounting integration with sage could be a bit smoother.

Using Procore

15 - project managers, superintendents, accounting staff, ownership
procore has support staff available on their website. There is no dedicated person(s) in our office to provide support

Procore Implementation

for procore to be its most effective, all users most be on board - architect, engineers, subcontractors, office and field staff - otherwise you will not get the full use out of it
Yes - We had a few go to meetings with a procore rep that broke the training down into sections so that it was not overwhelming
Change management was a small part of the implementation and was well-handled

trainer was a good communicator and answered all questions
we had a trainer, but it is also possible to self teach

Configuring Procore

make sure that all outside parties are involved - architects, engineers, owners, subs, etc.
No - we have not done any customization to the interface

Procore Support

personally i do not use the support. during the training and integration process they were very friendly and quick to respond so i would assume their support operates in a similar fashion
No - i don't believe they charge extra for it
During the integration process they provided exceptional service when any question was raised by any of our users.

Yes - excellent. could not be easier

Procore Reliability

product is effective on both big and small projects
have not had an issue with it being unavailable
I would say 90% of the time i have no load time issues. There have been a few instances when drawings took a few extra seconds to load then normal. One of major reasons i like procore is that the response time when clicking on things is very quick

Integrating Procore

only issue i think there is is that procore talks to sage but sage does not talk with procore.

we knew we wanted the software, sales guy almost turned us off from it b/c he was not a good salesman
training and integration was easy.

  • not sure if we have been or needed an upgrade, they are constantly doing minor changes to the interface
