Zoom Workplace, Zoom’s open collaboration platform with an AI Companion, empowers teams to be more productive, and strengthen customer relationships throughout the customer lifecycle with Zoom’s Business Services for sales, marketing, and customer experience teams, including Zoom Contact Center.
We like the user friendliness of Dialpad Connect over Zoom, as it integrates with our CRM much easier. Also found the Ai portion of Dialpad was far superior in accuracy over Zoom, and the call summaries and transcripts are top notch and an absolute key feature that won us over.
We have not used other alternatives for this service. Dialpad works well for our needs and so far it is working for everyone now that we have figured out the synching issue mentioned earlier in this review. We do use Discord for internal calls and staff messages, but those …
Dialpad Talk provides a more comprehensive user experience as it has more functions. However, Zoom has a simpler interface which I prefer when meeting with participants as other more complex functions are not needed for those meetings. However, I can see their purpose for a …
I use Zoom a lot. Started using Dialpad and wish the video was easy to use. I have to practice. I've also used Skype that is a similar product for calling. My perspective is to consider making the video a bit easier to use. My experience has been great with similar products …
With [an]other company [I] used RingCentral. They offered more features but at a high cost per line whereas Dialpad offers the features that are used on a daily basis at a competitive price.
I used Google Voice free service. It helped me, however, I was getting tired of using their web interface. Sometimes, the call quality suffered a lot. Also, their SMS and MMS services were not convenient enough. I used RingCentral almost 10 years ago and was not too happy with …
Dialpad has a unique capability that none of its competitors have, which is it lets you call the cell phones of people around the world. They have provided us with seamless calling, which allows us to be in touch with our clients irrespective of scheduling and sending out …
They are all pretty similar, however, Dialpad seems to have a tighter all-in-one solution with uber conference integrated in the desktop app and you can invite or launch meetings from there. I have not used the newer Zoom phone options or newest RingCentral meetings yet, but …
Dialpad provided better quality and better service. We were able to work directly with the company, and not have to go through an "agent." What's more, when we did have to speak to someone, it was a rep in the USA, not someone in a call center far away from where we are.
I started with the free version of Dialpad in my business so I didn’t have to put a commitment down like Skype or Google Voice in order to have my own number. Skypes’s connection is not always clear, Dialpad is perfect. All the time.
The number one standout for Dialpad is its ease of use. 30 minutes at most to configure. With the competition, you cannot even get done with the "introductory" phone call in that time.
The second standout is the price. The price per line provides a much better value.
Quailty of Video and Audio on all three is very good. However, Zoom Workplace really shined with its AI features. RingCentral hadn't really rolled their AI out when we evaluated them and Dialpad did have AI features, but they really failed in some critical testing. Had the …
Zoom Workplace is the most utlizied video conferencing platform within our organization. We also use Microsoft Teams, Dialpad, and 8x8 but Zoom Workplace is probably the default for most people and most widely used.
Zoom Workspace has a more robust phone system than Dialpad. Dialpad's PBX does not allow routing to external numbers. I had to route to my personal account and set it to auto-forward to the external number. Zoom Workspace gives me the option of either forwarding to a queue, …
Zoom is a much more user-friendly product than others we have used in the past. The user experience with Zoom was much better than our previous screen sharing, audio conferencing, and video conferencing products. Zoom is a very common tool that is also used by many of our …
Zoom has every feature they have and more. We selected Zoom because it was the best out there with good ease of use. Also, users know the name and they have a position view of it.
It is well-suited for basic calling functionality, but has been a poor experience for us when used for texting, as it lacks some of the features of other platforms, such as Haymarket. It is also challenging to capture good analytics, as this is neither easy nor clear for users to find.
Integration with other products and the AI summaries have been huge wins for Zoom Workplace in our organization. They have been life changing for our team. Also, being able to make and receive calls from our cell phones rather than have to give out personal cell phone numbers has been wildly successful with our attorneys.
I love how easy it is to set the focus on the presenter. It is annoying when people don't spotlight themselves as a presenter, so you get to see the whole gallery of attendees in smaller, two-inch windows.
I like the capability of having break-out rooms. Even though I don't use them very often, it is nice to have them available if the right situation presents itself for smaller group chats.
The recording quality is better than I have experienced with other products (Microsoft Teams, WebEx, etc.), and the fact that it is already an MP4, so I don't have to convert it for publishing on our intranet is huge to me.
The only example I can list for improvement is that occasionally the message has some mistranslation(s). But I can usually figure out the missing words. The 'southern USA' dialect may be partly to blame....
The functionality is really great. It is the best app I have used for messages in all of my customer service jobs.
Allow a way to group individual people chats - not channels just individual peeps into groups for ease of finding - like how you can group shared calendars into sections in Outlook
Dialpad Talk is easy to use and no one has had a problem using it. Even when we have had questions/problems we have been able to fix it ourselves without having to go to Dialpad to ask for help, which saves everyone time. We don't have any reason to cancel our use of this product and we are very happy with how it performs for our team.
We're sticking with Zoom for the foreseeable future--given its compelling feature set, ease of use, and advanced technology, there's just no other competition to be excited about. Plus it's a Gartner-recognized industry leader, so it's a rather easy choice.
Dialpad Connect is good and recommended for any organization. It is a good value. It can accomplish everything that your organization is looking for, and no one will say it is outside the budget for any 50+ person organization. The AI feature is very useful. The dashboard could be a bit easier to manage, and the integration with Salesforce could be a bit smoother.
Zoom is made for the non tech office. It has features that can be made to do what you need to run things on a day to day basis. Immediately we we able to get meetings going with remote employees. The ability to be able to add smartphone connected people was a big plus. Zoom met our needs at the time.
There have not been any outages that I am aware of and we have had consistently good coverage since the start. There can be a slight lag from the office to the mobile app, but it is not terribly noticeable and it has not resulted in any calls being prematurely hung up
There have been less than a handful of outages during our two years with Zoom, and whenever there was one, an email informing us of the outage went out immediately, and they had the issue resolved shortly thereafter.
The emails of voice transcription come very quickly after a call has been completed and except for a few fairly difficult names are pretty accurate. The ability to quickly listen to the voicemail from email without having to open the app is also a bonus. I have not noticed or heard of any slowdowns
Zoom has among the best performance of any video conference platform, as I've mentioned several times. Besides that, their Chat platform works great, and their back end always runs smooth. It's unfortunate that reporting can now only be done by one month at a time, but nonetheless, it only takes a second to run any kind of Zoom report, whether it's an attendee report, Poll results, a user report, a list of meetings from the past month, etc.
The original date for roll-out, was unable to happen because there was an issue finding our existing phone lines to port them... The only reason I gave a 9 is [that] the original person we have been working with, Rolled out phones. Pro without telling anyone and then went on vacation, I only say this to explain that there is a gentleman that took over to help us named Brett and he was FANTASTIC! He allowed a ton of calls and answered all of them, walked us [through] settings, profile set up, and even emailed screen shares so we could help other members of our team! Thanks so much, Brett you ROCK~
Because I got a response right away, and was assigned one specific individual to work with me from the beginning to the resolution. I had an actual email address and direct contact with this person without having to start over and over every time I contacted Zoom - this singular individual remained attentive and was well informed on the subject matter and quite able to resolve my needs.
Simple and easy to follow, we had our branches around the country to be trained and the feedback was great. Only take if there was a desk phone training that would be great. The team provided us with video for the desk phone training
If you receive any pushback from higher ups, point to any of the various positive reviews like this one. Or show Zoom's excellent Gartner report, or articles describing Zoom's partnership with Sequoia capital. It's not difficult to show how Zoom is a trustworthy industry leader with best-in-class technology.
Panterra is dependable and has good support. Dialpad Connect has more features and an easier interface. AT&T has a lot of features, but Dialpad Connect's interface is easier. AT&T does not do call transcription that I know of. Comcast BVE and 8x8 services are lower quality and service is not great.
Zoom Workplace is typically on the more expensive end against other options, but it's the industry leader for a reason. It has the most brand credibility by far, but that doesn't mean it's perfect. There are limitations when it comes to technical performance, customization and video/audio quality. I prefer Slack myself for communication apps, but Zoom Workplace is a good alternative.
Overall program is of average cost. SInce I use it simply for its phone/text capabilities. I would hazard that company that needed more options, might see it differently
The billing and price model is really fair for so many functions that they offer, our remote work requires each of the features that Zoom offers, so accepting payment for a tool like this is the least we can do. I like that billing arrives on time and that they offer opportunities and payment times.
So far, Dialpad has been a great improvement for our organization. It allows everyone to be on the same service and the integration with the mobile app means everyone is still using the "office" numbers even when on the go which makes it easier not having to balance multiple phone numbers from people
Because the Basic licenses are completely free, and because it's very easy to configure and install Zoom, and because anyone can join Zoom from a link without needing an account, scaling is a Breeze. There are absolutely no roadblocks. My company keeps adding more Zoom Pro license every week since it's so in demand. We were able to convert users from several different platforms onto Zoom with no trouble at all.
Zoom is perfect for our business. We use it to video chat with prospective clients. The name recognition alone gives us credibility and it is very easy to screen share and send content out.
