InEight offers a modular, integrated project controls platform. Because the InEight platform covers the entire construction lifecycle, customers purchase the software based on their specific needs – purchasing stand-alone products, a bundle of products, or the entire platform. As a result, the pricing will vary depending on the specific product, number of users and length of contract. Once InEight has identified the highest impact areas, they offer potential customers a custom proposal. The options they consider include:
Per user pricing: typically annual subscriptions.
Revenue-based: using a percentage of the customer’s revenue.
Project-based: software use dedicated to a specific project or program of work.
A discount is offered for annual billing.
Every premium plan begins with a 14-day trial period.

Wrike helped us stitch PMO-related activities under one umbrella. The easy collaboration with multiple access types, combined with security access definitions, helped users across the organization contribute according to their roles. I wish that Wrike had more drag and drop functionality that would be connected to assignee and also I wish that the finish date of a task would update to the date where you checked completed. It does not do that. Also finishing a task doesn't move the start date of the next task it "protects your time in that way", but our management team wants us to quickly see what we have down the pipeline rather than having to scroll down the list of upcoming tasks.

I would give it an 8 out of 10 because the software can be a bit cumbersome to new users. It also takes a long time to set up the library and input all of your companies needs so that the software will provide the level of service required to estimate projects. However, once the software is set up it is a powerful tool. We only use a portion of what the software is capable of delivering

Smartsheet is very easy to learn. However, while I have been able to pick it easily, Microsoft Excel and Project super users that I have trained on Smartsheet get bogged down in the differences and can find it frustrating. We have project templates set up based on what job type is selected in our work request form. This helps save time by having specific tasks already on each job as it is opened. Then it's just a matter of scheduling the tasks based on the job request and current workload. As long as a due date is flexible, it's easy to shift specific due dates as needed.

Over two years of (almost) daily usage without outages. Don't remember any errors. I give it 9 only because some Wrike plugins (for online document edit) are based on NPAPI architecture. These types of plugins are being phased out in new browsers, and NPAPI plugins are disabled by default in recent versions of Chrome so you have to do some browser adjustments when you switch browsers or move to another computer.

Why do we call support? Always because some things got broken, right? And when it happens, the likelihood of us getting in troubles waiting the support to fix it, it's tremendously high, almost certain. Through my experience with InEight, I'm really concerned whenever I see an update message in the screen, we got really used to see errors in reports right after an update is released. You can see by my tickets, that some of my issues last too long, as client perspective. We had to send messages to our clients excusing us for the weekly report that is being shared due to internal issues, not once, not twice.

I give this rating because it fills a niche in the market. MS Project scares many away from proper task management but there are limited tools our there, especially cloud-based that are mobile-friendly. Smartsheet fills this market gap, especially for small to medium-sized businesses. IT is not fair to compare it to MS Project, but fairer to see what gaps it fills.

Both Sage Estimating and InEight programs have their unique capabilities. Sage Estimating is much more configured for use in detailed construction, the majority of which are for non-nuclear projects. InEight has so many more capabilities, especially in creating our own libraries of data, which are vital in creating an estimate. The ability to access historical data (pricing), is an outstanding feature of the program.
