Good tool
Failures could be prevented, malicious behavior could be detected, and fraud could be detected. If an admin makes a failure or you have strange system behavior. You could check with this tool if someone has changed a setting in a business-critical system.

AD Audit Plus the software you need to do good auditing of your AD.
The ability to track changes allowed us to discover rogue connections to servers and rights given to users that give too many rights to our environment. It also allowed us to validate if users' accounts were being onboarded or offboarded in an adequate amount of time. It also helps us to see accounts that were forgotten.

Review of ManageEngine ADAudit Plus
We are a health care organization so with direct patient care it is vital we maintain system uptime. With ManageEngine ADAudit Plus we are able to be notified quickly as to any Group Policy changes that may have an impact on Active Directory operations. If we suspect a GPO change may have impacted system uptime, we are able to look at the audit trail of GPO changes to determine any impact that may have occurred.

ManageEngine ADAudit Plus Is an Excellent and Must Have Solution!
This solution has brought such a huge impact to our organization when it comes to being able to track changes. We can quickly and easily pull change type reports from Windows Active Directory report our Information Security, Compliance, Management or an auditor may be looking for or requesting. Being a heavily regulated institution, being able to track changes and document them is a major win for our team.

It has ben huge in monitoring login activity and failures first and foremost. Daily logon reports are reviewed and issues resolved before they become an issue in many cases. Monitoring all access to sensitive HR and CEO files has and daily reporting on such has been great. Our CEO also sees the daily reports which helps him rest a little easier.

ManageEngine -- Gets the job done!
Not a lot -- but we were not really looking for this functionality. We don't make a lot of changes so it wasn't really needed. We occasionally pull reports to provide insights into changes, but if we didn't have the capability we would be okay doing it manually.

ADAudit Plus Review
It really helps when we want to track back on changes some admin made, GPO, Permission etc. It helps locate and remove the not needed permission and made everything much easier. We found some old users and non-relevant users and groups we could remove. We can see what users we can disable if they have not logged in in the last few months.
It has provided greater tracking, accountability, and overall governance of our AD environment. Has provided useful in times of security incident response/ investigations as well

Provides better visibility over different functions like Service Desk etc. Help determine workload and changes. Keep an eye on critical accounts, groups, etc.

Simple and Cheap AD Reporting.
We only use the reporting tools for users and file shares for group permissions. We have the other advanced AD reporting features for AD admin controls we do not use. Though we acknowledge, they exist and can be leveraged. For what we use, this tool is very cheap and very effective in completing report analysis timely and effective.

This is and continue to be a positive impact on the business. Benefits include less time consuming and confusing task to complete by performing these task in I would say an automated role/feature. Finding and being notified of any sort of activity is what any business should have within their environment.

AdAudit tracks events on your network in real time.
It allows me to sleep better at night, knowing this monitoring tool is watching my network. I can see which account made changes to my network and what those changes are. We have about 7,000 user accounts on the network, which is a lot to monitor, but ADAudit helps to take some of that burden off my shoulders.
It could take me days to find a locked account. After getting on with ADAudit, it's gone from taking days to minutes with the built in report

We are a publicly traded company that must prove during audit that events such as account termination, password changes, lockout events, etc. are performed according to policy. ADAudit Plus provides excellent change reporting and historical retention of these changes. It is invaluable for companies that need to provide change logs to auditors.
It has allowed for much more thorough real-time monitoring of the daily activities that happen in AD. We know when a user/computer/group is modified/added/deleted, a password is changed, an account is added to a privileged group, a GPO is modified/added/deleted, a failed attempt was made to authenticate to a privileged account, a user is locked out, etc. The list goes on and on.
