Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We monitor access to domain controllers and especially sensitive files on our file server. It has helped to identify when if anyone accessed or attempted to access sensitive files. It has also helped in monitoring password and username failures. We have several daily reports we use for these.

Yes it greatly improves visibility into our AD, domain controllers, and file servers. The reports did help save much time.

ManageEngine ADAudit Plus provides an in depth look at changes made across every aspect of your Active Directory. How has being able to track changes in your Active Directory impacted your organization?

It has ben huge in monitoring login activity and failures first and foremost. Daily logon reports are reviewed and issues resolved before they become an issue in many cases. Monitoring all access to sensitive HR and CEO files has and daily reporting on such has been great. Our CEO also sees the daily reports which helps him rest a little easier.

This has been very helpful in monitor user behavior/access attempts by IT technicians and users with local administrator rights. It has been helpful in identifying users having issues logging in or possible expired passwords.

It has helped us in monitoring and being compliant with our cyber security insurance. We are an MSP with access to thousands of customer devices so security is paramount for us. While we provide services and cyber security to customers we have to practice what we preach and protect our customers as well as ourselves.

Support has been great when I have need which I believe was only once or twice since we deployed the product. It has worked great and I have been able figure things out on my own for the most part.

It's been a great tool for monitoring Active Directory logins and access to files on our servers. I receive daily reports on failed logins which helps to find users with expired passwords that could be logged in to multiple computers and causing constant failed logins. As well as bad usernames which is very helpful to identify unwanted logins on computers or attempts by certain users that should not be logging in at all. We monitor access to sensitive HR and CEO files.
